oh great some one has it figured out:jump: I will tell my family the cure:moon:

My grandma is shcizophrenic .... I know what is it all about.
Brain chemistry is all fcked up, hard to hold grip on reality... Well , I said - we must take responsibility!
It's not just that psychosis ... Or schizophrenia appear out of nowhere - there is a trigger OR a very disastrous event before the onset of simptoms.

H-O-L-Y S-H-I-T! INSIDIOUS!

I have only one thing to say, OINK!, THEY WANT YOU TO BELIEVE THAT SHIT. DO YOU LIKE BEING CONTROLLED...APPARENTLY, YES.

Google the anti-psychiatry movement. Or don't, just become some sheeple who blames it all on something somewhere else, instead of just taking personal responsibility. I guarantee somebody somewhere will be happy to tell you you're nuts. It's their livelihood. There is a whole science devoted to it. BUT IT'S ALL BULLSHIIT! :moon:

Naht, I had a long response typed out to you yesterday and then had to leave it. First, I want to apologize for a few things, mostly for making American assumptions. We just don't have the kind of mechanisms in place you're telling us about unless someone has already entered into the mental health system, which is difficult in the first place.

Second, because of my American mental health system prejudice, I assumed that you had been seen by some mental health professional previously, because we have nothing like a crisis intervention team except in case of suicides, and even those people are often only volunteers who then shuffle that person off, a placating band-aid if you will.

My best friend's from junior high through high school mother was paranoid schizophrenic. It was supposed that she may have been abused as a child, but I don't know anything factually. The last person I've been touched by is a young man now, I knew him as a teenager through my stepson, his onset was early. I know nothing about his life, whether or not he experienced a triggering episode or what, but I believe that it's possible for there to be onset of the disorder in absence of specific triggering episodes or events.

I have to be honest, I find schizophrenia a more depressing disorder than, say, bipolar disorder, even though it can bring about many of the same symptoms and consequences. It's a constant struggle for the people affected.

well, ill have to say, after years of bipolar (2 decades)and a few docs (tried a few things out at the beginning, "talk" to one now to keep my dissability pension (law))

psychiatrics (shrinks and pillpushers)

are about as useful

as tits on men.

Would you like to know what my mother always taught me? Stupid people never go insane. And it's true. Intelligence seems to be very closely linked with mental health, and often the more intelligent a person is, the more likely they'll suffer.

So maybe the saying shouldn't be 'ignorance is bliss,' maybe it should be 'stupidity is bliss.'

However, please don't discount the very real experiences (and the brain scans that demonstrate very well visually) that schizophrenia is a very real illness. When you do that you minimize the experience of others, which minimizes them, and that's wrong on every level I can think of.

Please check this list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICD-10_Chapter_V:_Mental_and_behavioural_disorders

(F98.8) Other specified behavioural and emotional disorders with onset usually occurring in childhood and adolescence

Attention deficit disorder without hyperactivity
Excessive masturbation
Nail-biting
Nose-picking
Thumb-sucking

Cmon! Those are mental disorders by WHO classification. Fuck them WHO! Every person has it's character
Those last few were added very recently on the list - soon we all will be mentally ill, calling 911 if an adult is sucking thumb... Or go crazy if we watch ACE ventura sucking something.. Cmon! They will put on new shit every year.
Fuck them! Work hard, drink pure water, eat fresh food and green herbs, you'll be happy !

Legalize the Herb!

my friend, the same thing happened to me a few years ago. I was smoking up a lot because it chilled my ADHD, but out of nowhere I became psychotic. I took a little break and then smoked again - immediate episode.

Since then I've been eating it. I've been ingesting mj for almost a year now and get the best of both worlds - super chill and super sane! I don't even have to take my k-pins or seroquel anymore.

I'm not an expert and we're all different but, maybe my experience can give you a little insight.

Good luck amigo

hi nahtanoj:tiphat:

you should be carefull for sure bro... and its truth that smokin cannabis is not for everybody.. if theres shizophrenia in your familly, you shouldnt smoke weed you buy elsewhere... you should grow your own, certain chemotype plant, which can suit you...:ying:

check this breeder out:

It is important to note that throughout the process samples that do not surpass their counterparts are culled out, removed, eliminated. “Select the best and reject all others” is the first criteria met. This is again in regard to the sampling and effect of the finished product. Aspects that warrant elimination range from the obvious ‘lack’ of some quality or a ‘boring’ burnout to issues of over potency that cause unwanted side effects such as neuropathy, anxiety, various forms of ‘constriction’ or what I refer to as ‘clenchy-ness’ or a ‘clenchy’ feeling of body-load tightness, distracting bouts of stupefying lack of focus, etc. These aspects are eliminated, line ended (parent stock duly noted though).

first psychiatrist talk about psychedelic experience like a model of shizofrenia, they mean mostly psychedelic substances like lsd for example... and cannabis experience can be mild version of it.. cause some cannabis, not all!, has some side effects.. which simply leads you to neuropathy or simulation of it...smokin cannabis its always slight desintegration of consciousness.. whatever it means...

another thing is that talk about schizophrenia in general, is not correct, symptoms are highly individual ever! only thing those "doctors" know is hypothesis, model of psyche... they dont know how it is.. never! because you cant research psyche like some object... if the disease is caused by organic disorder, they can rely on physiology, but in case of schizophrenia they cant, cause it has non-organic origin...

also theres big danger, that if you take neroleptics after consuming cannabis it can trash your brain...

psychosis is when some blocks of your mind start to be separated from consciousness, and try to act like consciousness and start to assimilate your consciousness - desintegration... cannabis can help you cure those separated blocks and integrate it back to your consciousness, on the other side it can help that assimilation progressing... i think its up to you and kind of strain you choose...

also in that case, i dont know what is right, but some psychologists look at shizophrenia like its disorder, but some look at it like its specific part of mental progress or development... if i would you i would seek those with that second opinion...

in my opinion - which means nothing... cannabis doesnt cause it... its you and cannabis temporarily brings it out.. to stop smokin cannabis will not solve it... it will go latent again but its there... you can be lucky and it can be latent your whole life, but... who knows what is luck in this case??? its up to you, its your deep life experience, part of your mental life,,, but on the other hand its also thing of society you live in, how people look at it... ancient greeks have two kinds of madness: beautiful madness and ugly-nasty madness(Plato, Faidros). we have only ugly one, negative madness in our terms...

p.s. sorry if some psychologic terms are not correct, im not native english speakin.. some of my friends work at clinics... and i have also two friends which are schizo...
