OK quick question my new TDS meter says my PPM's are 1,580 ppms..I need to back off a bit right?

Thanks Whodare but you know, the plants look GREaT no burnt tips, nice and deep green, I cannot see any typical over nute characteristics, but I'm cutting back the regime, thanks again. I am not familiar with the EC measurements as my meter only does PPM.

Merry Xmas Bro.....A lotta strains/hybrids can handle higher ppm`s and look healthy , but that doesn`t mean it`s good for em ......
1580 ppm`s is 3.16 EC with a .5 conversion on your meter , but there are also meters with .7 conversion.....Not sure what you have but just for future reference , EC is measured as double your ppm`s as in 3160 ppm`s converted to 3.16 on a meter with .5 conversion so on and so forth........now......
What happens with mega ppm`s is that what the plant can`t eat it stores and if it keeps gettin fed mega ppm`s , it stops eatin and ph issues/lockouts happen with the quickness so.....
Drop em before yer bitches get toxic.....750`s plenty for a healthy plant to use and convert into energy.....Bigger plants can handle higher ppm`s but they need flushed weekly .....
Usedta shove 17-1800 ppm`s up my krusty bucket plants , but I flushed em for 24-36 hrs every 5-6 days to get all residual salts built up in the plant , then shove it up their ass again.....rinse and repeat....but.....with smaller plants.....
Heath got me started with 1.2-1.5 EC(600-750) ppm`s over a decade ago and I never looked back without deficiency 1 and dialed results every run consistently for the duration....
Anyways.....Hope surgery makes yas a new man again and get some pussy real soon......

His meter is a .5 conversion, so yeah 3+ EC is way too high. 1.2-1.5 is right where I strive for also, and I notice a huge difference in the plants growth from when I overfed last time.
lol... what happens to a person when you overfeed it? It gets fat and can't perform... Feed that same person a 40/50/10% diet of protein/carbs/fat @ 2-3k calories a day... and you have a finely tuned machine.
Proper nutrition is about consistency. The more often you can feed your plants fresh nutrient solution, the closer you will get to fast hydro w/o the hazard of total crop failure should something go wrong... and no offense Mega... but shit goes wrong in you're room often enough. lol...
So, run some drippers, add the inline shut-off valves + basket stakes if you're going to keep running multiple strains... or get blumats you big money baller... Water ur plants at 1.2-1.5 EC, the universal meaurement... and water them no longer than 1 minute at a time imo. Water them every few hours, for 1 minute. You'll be amazed.

OK OK I am going to tell gro-bro to flush with clear water for 2 waterings THEN go to 1/2 strength on ALL the nutes? Ok dumb question time; Are Silica Blast/Cal-Mag/Drip-Clean do they add to the overall EC/PPM levels? I am assuming so.

Ok I was working in the Flower room with Arminus this afternoon, when he said to me "WTF are these?" And he pulled out these 4 little pots with little baby bansai plants all budded.
Looks like Gro-Bro had an experiment or some shit like that in the grow room lol...enjoy these...they are kinda cute and I brought them into the house to show the girlfriend. Thought other peeps might enjoy these little freaks!

Silicablast/potassium silicate and Cal/Mag if it`s made with Calcium Nitrate will definitely up your ppm`s Mega.....
5 ml`s of Botanicare Cal/Mag up`s juice 200-250 ppm`s but not sure about how much silicablast does since it`s potassium based , but guaranteed it does since potassium is 1/3 part of the NPK equation.....

Got my PPM's to 775 and will drop it a bit more, we will flush next rezevoir and ONLY add Drip CLean, thanks gang! I STILL have a lot to learn, I am amazed I didn't totally nuke my plants before I bought this TDS pen (shrug)
