Yeah, I think all of the slow lorises are classified either as endangered or vulnerable. Two biggest reasons are habitat loss and pet trade. Both brought about by many many assholes.

..its quite understandable why people would want to own one, they are adorably cute.

if their habitats are endangered, kinda better than nothing, them surviving as pets (not really a bad life with good "owners" (i like to call myself a parent (its a baby that you raise as your own, teach it the rules and feed it and so on, the pet probably views you as a parent if you got it early enough)

they dont really look that capable of survival, look rather specialized, if their habitat gets ruined their probably fucked without human intervention.

..though id personally rather see them at some nice reservation, though i couldnt fault anyone for keeping a pet if they bothered to breed them (but since its illegal people probably wont do that much (which they probably would without the ban, since they are a adorable looking pet (depending on its habits lol) bit of a catch 22 perhaps)

The reason for their decline...is that they are one of the only Mammals to have a toxic bite-- So before they can be sold, they either remove, or cut their teeth...which causes infection, and most of them die-- They are only "Docile"...because they are scared to death of us!! :tiphat:

i think weiner dogs are a good stoner pet, they are silly and funny when they run around with their stumpy little legs and whatnot

even if you got one you would not be able to show it to anyone. if the fish and game found out about it your screwed... Better to leave the wild animals to there own habitat. These are not domesticated animals. There are many cute wild animals that should not be pets..

how can anyone say a dog is best "stoner" pet? maybe best pet but not for a stoner thats for sure...

fuck my buddies never walk their dogs cause they too high all time... fuck i dont blame em its like -20 outside right now and 2 feet of snow.

hence why I think my lil kitty is the best cause she likes to do the same shit I do....

1. eat.
2. sleep
3. poop
4. look at weed growing
5. wrestle and roll on ground

I guess that last one is mainly hers but you get my point...

she joins me in my slacking, doesnt make me go out for a shit, or anything... fuck she is scared of the outside.... she enjoys laying around all fucking day stretching and making weird noises... she takes weed naps like a champ...kinda a loner but loves her family/friends...

see thats me in a nutshell... what better pet to have with you all day than one thats just like you.

alight back to chillen wit the lil kitty... the typing noise is pissin her off, cant sleep as well.
