I was only speaking of his honesty in how it relates to the topic at hand. Newt has shown you all how he feels about MMJ and you should vote accordingly. He is not like Obama that says something to cheat and get elected and then laugh in your faces after he wins.

Well in the unlikely situation that Newt manages to win the nomination (Everyone with an IQ above 80 in the Republican Party knows this is bad for them) The general will be short and sweet. Obama will tear him to shreds over years of lobbying, philandering, and his little inaccurate right wing historical media empire.

It's Romney, everyone else has gone to far right to win the primary. Or is polling so low that they could never win. As long as Romney can keep Newt from becoming the nominee before the convention. The GOP establishment being the well oiled machine that it is, won't nominate that fat prick.

It's kind of funny tho, Republicans use poor uneducated white people as a voting base. And they have riled these people up into such an anti Obama frenzy they are losing control of the process. Rove making TV appearances trying to referee this shit, hahahah.

This has been the most pleasant time to watch cable news in YEARS

Gingrich would be terrible for our cause and for the country....

Gary Johnson Outs Newt Gingrich? ‘Among 100 Million Americans Who Smoke Marijuana’

Fourth-tier GOP presidential candidate and one-time debate sensation Gary Johnson became the latest to level a “serial hypocrisy” attack at frontrunner Newt Gingrich over the weekend, telling MSNBC’s Alex Witt that in 1997, Gingrich “proposed the death penalty for marijuana — for possession of marijuana above a certain quantity of marijuana, and yet he is among 100 million americans who smoke marijuana.”

While Alex Witt didn’t think Gingrich’s herbal history would be “at the forefront,” maybe it should.

Johnson later referenced Gingrich’s marijuana use in the past tense, saying that he “would love to have a discussion with (Gingrich) on the fact that he smoked pot, and under the wrong set of circumstances, he proposed the death penalty for something, potentially, that he had committed?”

Gingrich, you may be surprised to learn, admitted to youthful marijuana use, and according to Reason magazine, was sort of ahead of his time:

Gingrich had this to say about his illegal drug use: “That was a sign we were alive and in graduate school in that era.” Somehow, an activity that was no big deal in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s had become shameful and scandalous by the late ‘80s.
Although Gingrich excuses his illegal drug use by implying that most of his fellow students also smoked pot, marijuana use was probably less common when he was in graduate school than it was in 1988. The government’s survey data don’t go back to 1971, when Gingrich got his Ph.D. But the survey shows a steady rise in drug use from 1974 until 1979. Although reported drug use declined after that, in 1988 it was still considerably higher than in 1974.
He was also an early proponent of legalized medical marijuana, penning a passionate, eloquent letter for the Journal of the American Medical Association in 1982.

In the intervening years, however, Gingrich’s attitudes toward marijuana, like so many of his positions, changed significantly, and while the years in this case might insulate him from the flip-flopping charge, he displays a moral flexibility that should disturb conservative voters. “See, when I smoked pot it was illegal,” he told WSJ’s Hilary Stout in 1996, “but not immoral. Now, it is illegal AND immoral. The law didn’t change, only the morality… That’s why you get to go to jail and I don’t.”

This suggests not that Gingrich’s moral attitudes changed over time, or that the nation’s did, but that right and wrong themselves are subject to change, a sort of moral relativism on steroids (which might become moral any day now).

Johnson’s statement about Gingrich’s support for the death penalty is somewhat misleading. He conflates Gingrich’s personal use of marijuana with the amount of pot that a smuggler or a dealer might have. Still, under Gingrich’s proposed law, you could be put to death for possession of as little as 200 joints, which is equal in volume to a carton of cigarettes.

Inconsistency aside (Gingrich is, as far as I know, the only politician in history to be on both sides of the poem Whitey On The Moon), the former House Speaker might actually see some benefit from his extreme harshing of the collective mellow. In a general election, putting small-time pot smugglers to death might not play so well, but Republican audiences eat up the Death Penalty like bacon-laced Chex Mix.

Newt is a whole nuther level of evil, he will make Obama look like Ben fucking Franklin and do much to speed up the advancement of the NWO agenda. Obama put it into 5th gear, Newt will put it into overdrive. Honestly w/ all the stupid scary shit going down RIGHT NOW I could care less where anyone stands on weed. Weed won't matter when food, freedom of movement, and money is all illegal now will it..that's where we are heading if something doesn't happen quickly.

Micheal Savage, a 'right wing' radio host offered Newt $1,000,000 to drop out.

LOL

Newt has the LEAST chance of winning against Obama.

He is actually a great debater, very well spoken, but he ALWAYS comes off like an ASSHOLE.

Newt cant get out of Newts way.

I believe he holds a doctoral degree in European history, which makes him incredibly dangerous.

He recently spoke of how misguided the French revolution was. About how the 'pursuit of happiness' does not mean the newest ipad or freedom to do anything, its about gaining knowledge (i generally agree, but not in the way he applies it).

So fighting against the LUDICROUSLY rich monarch (while the french populace starve for bread, Louis XIX is toiling in Versailles) and the oppressive of the Catholic church were bad things for the Frech people and Europe as a whole.

Did the French revolution get out of hand... ask Robespierre, was it misguided, not at its heart.

It doest play as well (or in this case as BAD) as Mitt Romney offering a $10,000 bet (Fed poverty line in 2011 is $10,890 for one person), but thats only because of a poorly educated populace.

Newt divorcing two sick wives guarantees he will never get over 40% of the woman vote.

SAVAGE OFFERS GINGRICH $1 MILLION TO DROP OUT OF THE RACE (Only 48 hours remain)

(SUBJECT TO ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO BE EXPRESSLY STATED BY DR. SAVAGE, INCLUDING GINGRICH DROPPING OUT WITHIN 72 HOURS OF TODAY)

THE MOST PRESSING ISSUE BEFORE AMERICA TODAY IS DEFEATING BARACK OBAMA. AND THAT IS SOMETHING NEWT GINGRICH CANNOT DO. FOR WEEKS ON MY SHOW, I HAVE ENUMERATED THE REASONS WHY GINGRICH CANNOT SUCCEED IN AN ELECTION AGAINST OBAMA:

WHEN HE WAS SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE, GINGRICH FAILED TO DELIVER ON HIS SO-CALLED CONTRACT WITH AMERICA.

HE MADE ADS WITH NANCY PELOSI PROMOTING THE FALSE THEORY OF GLOBAL WARMING.

HE’S IN FAVOR OF AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS.

HE’S TAKEN HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM FANNIE MAE AND FREDDIE MAC, TWO OF THE MOST CORRUPT FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS IN HISTORY.

HE’S CHEATED ON TWO WIVES AND LEFT BOTH OF THEM WHILE THEY WERE BOTH SERIOUSLY ILL, WHICH WILL DESTROY HIS CHANCES AMONG FEMALE VOTERS.

HE CALLED THE REPUBLICAN PLAN TO REFORM MEDICARE “RIGHT WING SOCIAL ENGINEERING.”

IN A PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE AGAINST OBAMA, REGARDLESS OF HOW WELL HE DOES, ON TELEVISION, HE WILL COME OFF BADLY COMPARED TO OBAMA AND LOOK LIKE NOTHING MORE THAN WHAT HE IS: A FAT, OLD, WHITE MAN.

NEWT GINGRICH IS UNELECTABLE. ANY OF THE OTHER CANDIDATES WOULD HAVE A MORE VIABLE CHANCE OF DEFEATING BARACK OBAMA, AND THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN THAT FOR THE FUTURE HEALTH, SAFETY, AND SECURITY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. THEREFORE, I AM OFFERING NEWT GINGRICH ONE MILLION DOLLARS TO DROP OUT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE FOR THE SAKE OF THE NATION.

IF NEWT GINGRICH REALLY LOVES THIS COUNTRY AS MUCH AS HE SAYS HE DOES, IF HE REALLY WANTS WHAT IS BEST FOR AMERICA, HE WILL SET HIS EGO ASIDE, CALL ME, AND ACCEPT MY OFFER. HIS CONTINUED CANDIDACY SPELLS NOTHING BUT RUIN FOR CONSERVATIVES, REPUBLICANS, AND ALL TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOTS. ONE MILLION DOLLARS IN EXCHANGE FOR PRESERVING THE NATION, NEWT. I SAY TAKE THE MONEY… AND DON’T RUN.

Absolutely the closest I've seen yet to a candidate directly saying "fuck you, got mine".

Gingrich leads, but Paul most likely to beat Obama in latest Iowa poll.
"With less than a month before the Iowa caucus, GOP presidential candidate and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich has surged into the lead, but Texas Rep. Ron Paul is the only Republican candidate who could best President Obama, a new Iowa poll says."
Dr. Paul is picking up Cain supporters, and all polling indicates he is the ONLY candidate who would beat O'Bummer.

Newt said in a 1996 interview about his pot smoking while in graduate school that the difference when he smoked was that it was illegal but not immoral, now it is illegal and immoral and thats why people have to go to jail for smoking. What a douche bag. Vote for Newt or any other rightie is a vote against your own self interests.

Seems voting for any Rep or Dem is against your own self interest. In more than 1 way. I'd rather "throw away" my vote on a 3rd party than voting for 1 of the 2 major parties that have gotten us to where we are today. Just my .02

Obama ain't gonna do jack; he's a spineless tool of Wall St. He has to go anyway. Now is the time to remind Gingrich's office DAILY that as long as he takes this DRACONIAN tack on cannabis he will NOT GET YOUR VOTE. Also register and VOTE in the R prim against Gingrinch.

If a couple hundred thousand pot heads (that is all we are to him) call his office often, and politely but firmly say to ease off on cannabis or NO VOTE, he will have to change his tune, and will, because he's a slimy vote panderer. All I want the feds to do is reschedule. I'm not asking them for federal legalization, that is a state choice. I just want the Feds out of domestic cannabis user's and homegrower's lives. Its fine with me if they still bust all the importers. Fuck the Mexican cartels. Hang 'em high. That's where he can be as draconian as he wants. No skin off my dick. :tiphat:

Obama should donate to Newt's campaign fund.

Sarah Palin would have a better shot against Obama.

Personally id like to see Condi Rice vs. Ed Rendel vs. Dr Paul.

Pretty sure Condi knows better than to get into that mess.
