This is after pruning. I tried to move some shoots around, but after crimping a few shoots, I gave up and did what I could. Figure when they start to aggressively fruit, I would cut a shoot or 2 down if I started to worry about mold. But hopefully with a fan blowing down on them and another underneath blowing up on them will be sufficient airflow to nip the mold in the bud...pardon the pun!

Not alot going on right now, but hopefully the show will begin to get a lot better in a couple of weeks. Until more pix are taken in a few days....so long

Few more days have passed, here's a few more pics. You can start to see a little action going on now with the pre-flowers.



They grew too tall for me to leave the flo vertical, so now you see where it is. It looks like a rat's nest above the screen with so much foliage. I'm just gonna let it go for the most part and see how they do. A little trim here and there from now on out just to keep the light on the flowers.

I expect the next 2-3 weeks will be exciting as the pre-flowers bloom into HUGE colas!!

Ok, today was almost the end of week 3 in flower. I went out of town for the weekend and when I came back I would bet that some of the tops grew about 6". That may be a little exaggerated, but not by much. now and things are starting to take off a bit. The fan leaves are beginning to become sugary and the white hairs are coming in nicely. Here are the latest pics.



I just realized that I haven't been giving you all the feeding schedules so here you go. I decided that they were plenty tall now and wanted to get the MagiCal out of the rez so I did a complete water/nute change today. This will most likely be the last one until it is time to flush.

PPM - 1300
pH - 6.0

They got 350 mL of bloom
50 mL of Floralicious
2 tsp. of KoolBloom

The rez actually holds about 12 gallons of water. And since I was changing the nutes slightly I wanted to back off on the ppm's just a bit from 1490. With only these 3 nutes it took nearly the recommended full strength dose. Figure I may need to get something else to add in there too. Any suggestions anyone? I was thinking something like Botanicare's Hydroplex, Liquid Karma, or Sweet.

Hello again, got a few more pix to post so here they are...




Went ahead and got the grape SWEET to add in. According to the guy in the dro store, it doesn't add flavor but does help with weight and some other stuff I can't remember atm. I really just wanted another additive to increase the ppms, this Bubbledust seems to love the nutes! The last run had up to 1800ppm the week before the flush. Here is the most recent nute info:

added 55mL Bloom
15mL Floralicious
10mL SWEET
1ts KoolBloom powder
5.7 pH
1440ppm

I recently removed the flo bulb because I noticed it was creating a shadow below it. Figured since it couldn't fit where I wanted it to do good, no sense in having it cause a shadow for other shoots.

Getting pretty stoked about this grow. Assuming there aren't any major problems to overcome, I think I will hit my goal easily. Still, my only concern (other than running out of bud before harvest) is that there isn't enough room between the shoots to let the calyxes swell properly....with enough airflow between them as to not cause mold. Never encountered that issue before on growing plants, but we will see.

wow am i glad that i got my hands on the bubbledust... looks like a promising yeilder ... could you chime in on the taste and potency of it?

Hey baker, I don't think you will be disappointed in the bubbledust, especially for the price. I would give it about a 7 out of 10 overall. It tastes clean (maybe due to the 2 week flush) according to my friends that have smoked some and it gets the job done. I've had stronger bud, but there is no complaint here. I recently purchased the Extreme Q vaporizer and finally got it figured out and let me tell you....the taste of the bubbledust (any herb really, at least so far what I have vaped out of it) is off the chart! Sooooo sweet. I can't get enough, not because I'm not high, but the taste is addictive out of this vape. Unfortunately I am down to my last 1/8th of the bubbledust till harvest (about another month). Last round I harvested at day 71. Sucks I won't be able to taste this sweetleaf for a while.

I know that isn't a real good description of the taste (never been good at these descriptions) but I am happy with it and hope to yield 10-14oz off these 2 girls (fantasy land?). If you go into my albums there are some more pics of the bubbledust that finished the first of the year...she was a beast! Good luck with your grow.

They average ushttps://www.icmag.com/ic/picture.php?albumid=16813&pictureid=375664 ing about 1g/day of H20 and I upped the ppms a bit to 1780. She seems to love 'em. Last run I topped the nutes out at 1800 and that didn't bother her at all. Anyway, here's the pics.

The last pic of my 420 present to myself hooked up to the water bong! I would give a thumbs up to the vape.

It's been over a month now...not sure if anyone is still around watching, but in a couple of days I will be posting the just before harvest pics. I've chopped 3 of the colas down already, but my wife counted 30 tops in there so hopefully there will be plenty to last. I would guess that each top that has been chopped already had a dried weight of around 10grams each. Not certain though.

You know...can't remember if I mentioned it but that first one I grew in the 3.5g bucket was only vegged for 2 weeks and was lst'd. I started the veg time count once the clone had about 5"-7" or so of roots when I put her in the 3.5g. She turned into a monster! Good luck with yours...I'd love to see some pics to compare mine if you get a chance.

Day 72

Here the 2 girls are. It's day 72 now. The last 6 days have been lights out the entire time to help the trichs out (from what I've read, figured I'd give it a try). Tonight is the big night for harvest I suppose. Got 2 colas last friday to try out and they are much smoother than the one I chopped right before flush (duh!). Looking at the girls witht he naked eye I would like to let them go for another week or so, I'll look under the scope tonight to see how far along they really are. Doesn't really matter though, due to time constraints, they must come down tonight. Will post more pics once they are completely dried.

Here are a couple of pics of the better of the 2 colas I chopped last Friday. Still need a little dry time to get really ready to smoke, but probably won't make it that long .



Gunslinger--a few of the colas grew all the way up to the cooltube, I leaned them over the best I could without putting a 90 degree bend in the stalks. As far as how far the cooltube is from the screen...can't remember exactly, but seems like it was about 3 feet give or take.

Hey woodie, its a 400watter. I used a conversion MH lamp for veg and supplemented the hps with a 105w flo for a few weeks in bloom, but for a short few weeks.

Starting to pile up...

I thought that this shoe holder with netting would be sufficient to hold it all.....

Boy was I wrong!

Had to make a trip to the store and get this drying wrack..which btw is too big for my little cab.


There was also a big heaping bowl of undergrowth nugs that were too small to smoke that will probably weigh between an oz to 1 1/2oz or so once dried. Figure they will go towards making honey oil.

Sorry some of the pics quality is poor. Had to use my cell phone to take a few, couldn't find the good camera.

From what I could see by just looking in before chopping commenced, I wasn't too impressed. But once I got into it I was pleasantly impressed with the size of the colas. Looking back, I would say there was 1 or 2 that rivaled the size of the last one ran in the 3.5g bucket.

No idea what the weight will be, I hate to even guess because I am optimistic. Figure the buds will take a week or two to really get ready, once weighed and jarred up I will post some last pics of the bubbledust all hydro grow along with a smoke report.

btw do you mind me asking, whats the distance from your tub to the top of your screen when its on and how much space is between the screen and your cooltube.
