thanks il19z8rn4li1 ...yea the bulkhead barbed fittings are exactly what im gonna use next time....so much easier than grommets and glue. the extra cost is well worth it in the end

appreciate the complement Avinash.miles.

i'll get some more pics up here when they fill out a little more....

until then happy growing!

est1977 thanks man!

BattleAxe yea lowes sux for those...my local hydro shop gives me a discount on everything!

Bobby Stainless haha thanks man everyday i peek in they have grown a little more.....shit is going to be a jungle....

normally i would have vegged them a little longer to get some monsters and prune them a shit ton, but i wanted to see if there was much of a difference in yield if i didnt prune at all and flowered earlier....I guess we will see.....

whats is your RH looking around?

Take reading from all around the room... then take some inside the
canopy.

If your looking at high RH around 60-80s... even higher its possible to control any mold spring up by blasting your plants with a lite Dry Milk spray 4 weeks into flower(1tbsp per gallon), then increase your air flow in the room like crazy. As long as that air is blowing around and the plants are in a wind tunnel, looking out for
wind spots where wind damage can occur, you plants will love it.

As long as you can get some nice flow inside that canopy... your golden at high RH... PLUS you can save on some electrical costs..

Average dehuey is gonna be around 400 watts at least...
You wont be using 400 watts of WIND power from multiple little fans blowing through the canopy.

Just my 2-cents :-D

Cheers friend.

Hey Skrud...Gladta see yas rockin da ebb and flow buckets after all the homework and research yas did before settin up.....Looks like it`s payin off from the explosive growth I`m seein.....

I like the upgrades to bigger feed/drainlines and swappin out/upsizin the controller bucket thingy but........

Watch those float switches like a hawk for residual salts buildup on the slides that`ll cause the feed pumps contacts ta stick open and flood yer room and burn your pumps up , and or stick closed and starve the plants.....

Have seen it happen many many times over the yrs with the manufactured units and their cheapass parts they use on the most important part of the system , so just stay on top of it and you`ll be golden.....

Respect...now bring home da bacon son....Holler if I can help.....

Peace....DHF.....:ying:.....

Looks awesome! How often are you watering these right when you transplant? I seem to be having a hell of a time getting it dialed. It either seems too often or not often enough, can't seem to find that sweet spot. I went from 6" net pots filled with hydroton directly into the 2 gallon buckets with hydroton, was watering 4 times a day for 15 minutes, seemed to be over watering, went to once a day for 30, that seemed to be under watering, haha...maybe it's just transplant shock...ideas? cheers

il19z8rn4li1 thanks for the tip....currently got a pretty good air flow goin in the room 3 large oscillating fans keepin em' breezy...just think the dehuey would make it perfect..

DHF suUUp! yea i hope they dont stick on me...havent yet.....i use real clean nutes so hopefully wont be a problem...you always got my back

thedoo these systems are SUPER simple. they are very similar to an ebb n flow the only difference is instead of a table they use buckets and a controller to keep the levels proper.. the controll bucket has electronic float switches in it that kick pumps on and off when the water level reaches certain set points. since all the buckets are connected via hose all the plants get watered evenly. definately my favorite set it and forget it system.....super easy! as long as nothing goes wrong

merkaba 4 times a day for 15 minutes is fine...i always get transplant shock and was going through the same shit a week ago...almost thought i was gonna loose my whole crop....don't worry....in a week they will resume proper growth as long as you switch back to 4 times a day and as long as everything else is good in your system

mad love!!! hahaha love it

I found some digital water level sensors online one time, I think they were designed for a sump pump, I think they came wired to a plug in with all the proper electronics. It was just a plug and play deal. Just mount your upper and lower sensor, plug your pump in and its done. Don't know how reliable they are, never used them before.

I didn't know digital ones existed until I stumbled across it, thought you might like to know.

Yeah, they have been in for about a week now, the older roots from before transplanting are pretty banged up, but they are def. putting newer white fuzzy roots out now, they just seem to go droopy too much...then they are showing deficiencies from the water...i figure i will give it one more week before just potting them up...they def. look better every day though...

nice sam ...ill have to give them a look when i do a refab on my systems

merkaba just hold on there buddy they will be fine trust...i also heard someone else say that when transplanting from an aero to a ebb n grow that the roots take some time to adjust to the new environment....i have would agree with this as i've noticed myself that when transplanting deep rooted clones from an EZ cloner actually take longer to adjust to soil transplant than much smaller roots.....just my opinion tho
