CG Finally left the Closet...Sorta...--1800w spare bedroom

Been a while since I've posted a grow. I moved to a bigger place and invested quite a bit of money in the spare room to help me and my girl with bills and rent and whatnot.

Where im from it seem its all grow big or go home, but my approach is more the tortoise than the hare... just slowly building my self up from cfl grows to hopefully a very productive room.

I self learn thru ICMAG, any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated. I want to set up my game so to speak...posting my grow will hopefully enlighten me to some new ways or things I have been missing.
I started with the closet. Measures 3' deep x 6.5' wide. 2x 600 lumateks aircooled by a 6" S&P sucking thru a Can 66

There are 18 - two gallon pots and 3- three gallon pots. Mostly OG with a couple MK-Ultra and Green Crack (z hashplant x pk). Dutch Master Gold Range nutrients w/ H&G Roots Excelurator

Closet intake from a 4" S&P sucking from cracked window covered in poly.

Later bought a DR120. Had to run power from other room cause the 1200w in the closet plus extras has maxed out the power for this room.

Maverick Sun "SuperWide" reflector, 600w lumatek, 6" S&P, Can 33 to be installed soon, then split the fan to suck outta a new 3x3 tent (soon)
9- three gallon pots SS#4, will use FloraNova nutes with big bud, overdrive, and B-52 for flower. On DM veg nutes now.

3 phenos of Sour Bubble (finding my keeper, sexed and ready to go cuttings)... I have 2 of each pheno for 6 total. SB's front two rows... plus one OG, one MK-Ultra and a Green Crack. Vegging for week longer to get on a harvest every month plan.

So far I just exhaust the tent into the room cause its cold, but when I flip the tent to 12/12 will most likely dump the hot air from tent into closet and rotate light schedules.

I need a bigger veg tent... getting a 3x3 soon, already have a 400w lumatek and a reflector and MH bulb for it. plus the 4x4 tent should be able to cool this one via a Y duct splitter.

Hanging power bar with 200w of cfl's or so. Silent cpu fan exhausting. Holds cuttings and a sour bubble male, 3 Northern Lights seedlings from FMS, and moms. Also use a DR40 for moms and stuff when veg space gets tight (torn down now)

My expectations for my grow are 1 & 1/2 pounds outta the closet and 1 p outta the tent, rotating harvest every month. That will keep me in smoke and pay our rent and cover bills.
That's the grow. Im kinda just taking each day as it comes. Trying to upgrade without breaking the bank or pissing off the girlfriend too much, hahah... cause a little is expected.

details about growing method:

-Hand water till runoff- do this in bathroom tub. Not a problem before but becoming an issue as plant #'s rise (sore back)

-feed water feed program... wants a drink every 4 days once roots are built up

-PH between 5.9 and 6.1 - I find the OG likes a higher ph like 6.1 -6.2

-veg for one week under HPS, two weeks under CFL's in beer cups

-max EC of 0.8 in veg - EC of 1.8 - 2.2 in flower

-10 day flush with flushing solution

-defoliate slightly, clean up all lower 1/3 of plant... remove any fan leaf blocking bud sites

- topped once in veg (small) again when transplanted, and again if needed before week 2 of flower

- Usually do a 36-48h darkness period before chopping.

I fill a 5 gallon bucket and mix nutes in that... straight tap water (water here is perfect). Takes me 3 buckets to water the closet.... I need a better system like a rubbermaid or something...?

Things will mostly remain the same for the DR120... just got to lock down another strain or two for that tent.

Once I get a 3x3 tent for veg I am thinking about running a CFL tent for tests and seed runs 'n stuff. Got a Sour Bubble male and some SSSDH seeds to pop soon, plus my brother found a seed in a bag of Tuna, hoping it works, hahah.

that would be awesome if that tuna was a fem. plants are looking good man i hope you find that sour bubble everyone is on the hunt for. i dont know how common it is. im jealous as hell you have the green crack, its in my top three unicorn strains. ( no clone access obviously) ill be checking back in here for sure!

the Green Crack is the pk version called RMGC or LMGC or MRGC I cant remember... its z hashplant x pk i heard... and its nothing too special, I will be ditching the mom after a run or two. Super frosty though...

I was thinking about a large rubbermaid with a bubbler... the tips on here confirms the need.

just fed closet at 2.2 EC and PH of 6.1. Defoliated a bunch since all the bud sites are showing, and trimmed up bottoms.

Anyone know some signs for the keeper Sour Bubble? I heard of a lime green one and a bubba kush type one, but i dunno i could be confused.

I had large leaves on 2 of my 3 SB plants... but since topping and cloning and tossing seed plants they have been smaller leaves, but starting to grow the large ones again...

I feel 2 of the 3 are the same pheno ( tighter nodes, large deep green leaves)

and one lankier lime geen looking one that stretches more...

I guess I'll only know once stsrt flowering these girls.

I got a pack of rez's SSSDH IXI im going to pop soon for some variety.

Amazing setup bro. I really like the use of the closet. I take it you wanna eventually use the whole room for growing? In the future you could probably just use the closet as a veg/clone area. In good time I guess. Are you growing with coco or soil? Either way handwatering all those girls must be a pain. Setting up a resevoir is cheap and easy. Just need a tub,air pump, and water pump. I used to handwater (much fewer plant #'s) and found myself becoming lazy and missing feedings and what not. The pump and timer is much more consistent for me. Well just wanted to say how great this grow looks and I wish you the best of luck. Take it easy. Peace

im using soil (SS#4) and ya hand watering is becoming a pain... im starting to look into some options but money is tight for a bit.

I hear ya about missing feedings, ect... im still kinda fighting back from being under fed but all in all this grow is looking good, and stage 2 is almost ready to flip into flower.

sprayed all veg and 4x4 tent for bugs...

spraying for PM as we speak... DR120 and closet and all veg... uhhh my house is going to stink.

DR120 started 12/12.... sour bubble on the way, I'll post some pics of the phenos soon.

finishing off week 5 in the closet, pics to come.

double wrapped closet in poly for extra light seal cause working in same room now on opposite light schedules, i was getting paranoid.

next round of babies are vegging... need a DR90 for veg asap... im full.... rockstar cutting making its way to me today from a friend.

you always have my attention, especially when you have a funny title.. good work bro. you have a real humble approach. congrats on the sweet new set-up. now we both have a 1800w system. well I only have one 600 on in my flowering room so you have me beat I guess. I am technically a 600+400=1000w system.

Make sure you let your water sit for at least12 hours and let the chlorine evaporate. The rule should be applied to your personal drinking water as well.

The chlorine kills all the helpful microorganism's that you may have helping you in the garden and you for sure have helpful bugs in your stomach that are harmed by chlorine.

Have you ever noticed the small bubbles that form on the sides of any water jugs if they are left alone for a while?.. if so, those are evidence of the chlorine rising to the surface and exchanging gas on the water surface.

plants hate chlorine.. and only store your water in drinking containers that are BPA free. you can get them here at the home hardware or any similar shop. BPA or Bisphenol A is used in soft plastics and a ton of other products. BPA's are now illegal in baby bottles etc here in Canada and they lead to cancer/toxicity I believe.. something nasty like that. just plain bad.

I bought a $200 Reverse Osmosis Machine and I'll never ever go back. plus you lower the PPM to 001 or 002 and it's pH balanced and pure. you still have to let the chlorine evaporate for a short while but in every sense its a wise choice. Not only for your plants but your health as well.

ye true say Smoke regarding the chlorine... I've always thought about doing that but i find our water here is pretty good, and my PPM is under 100 outta the tap always... usually half that at most.

and about the health thing, ya I hear ya on that too, but that being said I also smoke and eat fast food and shit sooooo.....

I will start letting my water sit out once I figure out exactly how much water im using ever feed and whatnot, I just finished the upgrade and Im just feeling it out now.

time to turn all my cfl tents that once were veg space into fun little test tents.

got my DR90... tent city is set up as follows....

2x 600w hps - 3x6.5 closet
1x 600w hps - 4x4 tent DR120
1x 400w MH - 3x3 tent DR90
200w CFL - 2x2 tent DR60.... going to flower in dr60 with cfl's for test/seed runs.

and regarding air stones... you connect the air stone to a pump, like a submersible water pump or a air pump ( sorry im new to pumps hahha) and but the stone in bottom to tub of water?

This is RDWC:

RDWC is a system where your roots are submerged in water at all times and get dissolved oxygen or plants will die. You will see growth rates like you have never seen and yields that are higher than normal in a shorter time because of the growth rates. No hand watering either.
