Is that one of EHLE's custom tubes? Looks like it

Nice piece either way :)

I'd add a low profile diffuser to it so it doesn't stick out so much though, I'd see myself knocking that over every 2 mins heh

I agree! Or maybe not better than before but getting there is more comfortable.

There would be an easy way to find out. Just have to put some of that cotton in a pipe and smoke it. :D Don't think I'm quite that interested though.

And to get back on topic.. Here's my bong for European style smoking. No not mixed with tobacco, but with carbon and a kickhole.

Just a small photo, because it's a bit dirty haha. No cotton either this time, it hits pretty smooth as it is. Nice place in the diffuser for cotton though (meant for carbon but the separate adapter is easier to clean so I use that instead).

Thanks! Yeah it's an EHLE tube, not really sure how custom it is though.

A low profile diffuser would be great. Unfortunately I've never seen one for sale at the local headshops and would have to order it from America or something so haven't got around to getting one yet..

thanks guys, im not sure who blew it. I always go to Blaz n J's in Chico , CA for all glass needs. They carry pretty much top of the line stuff as well as their own in house glass which is really sick, they do fully worked tubes and such....

this time though i went for this, it stood out as kinda a hybrid scientific/heady peice. The shower head is big and custom worked

thanks again...love the peice so far....and thats some outdoor organic shire in the pipe!

keep it blazin

Here's my 15" Mobius Glassworks 14mm Beaker with a "zero-drag" showerhead perc, splash guard and ice catcher.

Last 2 pictures show my dome attachment, the dome is actually a 18mm dome with one side reworked to fit the 14mm downstem. It's way too big for the beaker but works well, so whatever.

Manifest Glas Works - Large Circ Bubbler

Manifest Glas Works - Large Circ Bubbler

My first Roor! It's a Zumo 4.2mm orange Label.

Well, it's been about a year & a half since I got my Roor Zumo & it's a great daily smoker. The issue is that I use it exclusively for oil now, so it was time for another piece that I could smoke bud out of.

picture.php

After much debate, this is what I came up with.

picture.php

Here she is!

picture.php

It's got a fixed downstem with a circular diffuser at the bottom. I didn't know what to expect from a bubbler as I've only owned tubes, but it's nice. It smokes like a pipe or handheld bubbler more than a tube. I like smoking bowls out of it better than my Roor Zumo but when it's time to take huge rippers I'll stick to a big tube!

picture.php

I specifically wanted a smaller bubbler, but this one was singing her siren song to me through the glass case, so here it is!

Hehe that bubbler is bigger than most bongs.

Then again your bong is a Zumo. :)

It's gotta be every bit of 17" tall to the top of the joint, so she isn't small. There's not much volume in the actual tube though because the fixed downstem is so thick. Half the volume is eaten up by the space inside the stem. The size is more of a convenience thing with this particular piece.

Hmm not sure I follow you, isn't the downstem full of smoke too? Or how does the smoke get in there... :)

But yeah really nice bubbler anyway!

Awesome stuff RobMarley420!

People speak really highly of those Toro bongs. And area also willing to put their money where their mouth is as they seem to sell really well even at quite high prices.

Never seen one in real life let alone ever used one... But I'm curious. What's the thing about them that sets them so much above the competition? Or is that even true anymore with competitors coming up with new perc designs, from Toro I've mainly seen circs and trees..

And about these bigger perc tubes in general. What kinda use do you generally use them for? Just for any kinda smoking? For me they seem like some kinda "gravity bong replacement"? Or that's what I've been thinking about getting one for. :D

Also I'm interested as to which perc designs work well even with the tube tilted (even almost up to 90 degress). Been thinking about getting a new daily driver since the old one is starting to have too much sentimental value but if the bong can't be tilted there's no way it'll replace a small bong with a standard diffy downstem for "sitting at the computer desk"-smoking. ;)

Yeah, it fills with smoke, but in a different way than a bong.

When I think of a bong I think of a device that pools/concentrates the smoke until you clear it. Ideally you have cold enough water to pool the smoke up & let it collect from the bottom up. That way you don't inhale any smoke until you clear it. You should be able to milk quite a bit with cold water before the smoke reaches your lips with a tube of the same size.

The way this bubbler is shaped (with much of the volume inside the downstem), it doesn't concentrate the smoke from the bottom up like a bong. It smokes more like a pipe. Even with the smallest of hits, the smoke swirls around inside and immediately starts going into your mouth. If you keep drawing through the bowl, you'll be inhaling as much smoke as you're pulling into the tube. There's no concentrating going on. That's why I say the size is pretty much for convenience. . . it's not the best piece for taking huge milked up hits.
