however,i believe the jury pool should still be american citizens. i realize the could be construed as not a jury of their peers but, their crimes(alleged)are against us so there is room for wiggle.

Since you're convoluted as always I'll clarify my point. If you don't want civilian trials for international terrorists, aka enemy combatants, you risk subjecting US citizens to the same treatment up to and including indefinite incarceration without charge.
