Florida Bans Bong Sales

If your community is teetering on destruction because of a glass pipe, chances are allowing or not allowing sales of said "glass pipes" isn't going to make the difference.

No one has addressed the REAL reason this is happening.
The fact is that the marijuana biz eats away at the Satanic monopoly that the medical doctors have created in Florida with their cash only no questions asked pain pill prescription over the counter system and the tax REVENUE it creates.
Not to mention all the 100s of thousands of fucking pill popping zombies created that will be pacified as long as they let the despots ass fuck their liberties so they can they get their 200$mri scan + $200 bottle of brain drain. Cash only. NO insurance accepted.
I've seen people in my state go from herb to pills because it's more convenient and legal.
And I have never EVER seen anyone who went into this abyss of prescription pain pill addiction come out again.
Except wealthy people (like Brett Favre) who can afford OTHER things like speed boats and whatnot to 'fill the empty spaces'.

Suppose they'd just have you smoke through tin foil pipes!
Oh wait, so this is just an effort to end head shops or convert them into cigar shops? I would blow my brains out after 5 days of being surrounded by that stale tobacco stench.

Looks like Floridians are going to be smoking more joints and blunts, lets throw more money at an industry that really doesn't need any more handouts, TOBACCO!
The bill passes and you will have snuff/cigar shops mass ordering pipes and bongs - no way in HELL am I going to support a TOBACCO peddler, who actually does contribute to the cancer death rate.

A way to make weed the new gateway drug to tobacco. NO one has done anything about the horrid dipping problem that leads to thousands of cases of gum cancer each year.

Florida is a stronghold for opposition. Pharmaceutical companies are deeply entrenched there, as are the pill popping junkies. There is more Xanax and Oxi going around there than ANYONE needs. My brother lost his life in Florida to a brutal cocktail of meth and oxi. He was my example of why not to do ANY hard drugs EVER.

WHAT IS BEING DONE TO STOP THE REAL ATROCITIES???

It is kind of hard not to notice that not one Democrat voted against the bill. Are Florida dems conservative bible toting rednecks also?
No mater what state you are in laws like this slide by when the people don't pay attention to what their representatives are doing and voice their opposition.
Pay attention and be active or get screwed. Peace

Awesome post danke. Didnt even think of the tobacco pushing that will go on now.

Dems and reps are the same no matter where you are.

It was a dem that introduced the bill.

I uge all that live in florida to send an email or call gov crist. the bill has not been signed yet. there is still a chance.

To all that say this is no big deal because there is a way around it.. it is a big deal. we are fighting the war on the war on drugs.. one battle at a time. we can not let them win this battle.

Chris, I want to get this out in the open....
I notice a pattern with you, and it seems that you have the typical pattern of blaming anything and everything that happens bad for our cause on the conservatives of our Nation.
Your headlines show your bias, which is fine IMO. It is just that many times your headline merely shows your bias, and does not really reflect the truth of the story.
This one is a perfect example of what I am talking about.

Sure, FL has made a lame move in the wrong direction by even suggesting such an ignorant piece of legislation, but for you to continue to demonize conservative people, and try to make them out as if this whole problem is due to "more insanity from the conservatives" as you so eloquently put it, is pretty irresponsible journalism, IMO.
More like unfounded divisive commentary.
It was not a conservative who pushed forth the bill, and like has been recognized, there was not one liberal that voted against the bill. So how is it you continue to show your loathe for conservatives?
Seeing your work, it seems you are a pretty good person with lots of talent...but when I see such divisive stuff coming from you, I have to wonder if you are really an objective thinker, or do you have tunnel vision?

Surely intelligent people realize that no battles are won with demonizing and divisiveness.
Only truth wins battles.

crackheads shouldn't be allowed to indulge in politics...

Irie !

I'm pretty sure crackheads would allow the sale of glass pipes.

That's really not fair, I don't have any evidence that the pharmaceutical industry is or is not in any way Sa'tanic.

The poor man's Speedball. Sorry about your loss, hopefully some good will come as testament to the non-believers (or the Ostrich Farm, as I like to call them)

Probably would see a lot more of that here, if we had Oxy the way you do! (Thank God we don't :clover:)

We have billboards in our state, Colorado Meth Project . Org.
http://www.coloradomethproject.org/
(Next time you see a soccer-mom bitching about weed, show them this.) Montanta and Wyoming have good ads, too.

And the ignorant parents still don't get it.

Meth really is the All-American drug.

"I don't sleep,
And I don't eat,
But I've got the cleanest
House on the street...
Meth"

It has a fluctuating up-down timber to it.
The record is comming soon.
It will be called "Fun with Bleach, Drain-O, Sudafed and other common household items".

And my next album will be called "Ritalin: Rails I Took Anytime Literature Insinuated Nausea" a.k.a. Why my room was so clean and my PRIVATE MIDDLE SCHOOL grades were so good.

It happened becaise Darryl Rouson got kicked out of a smoke shop for harassing the workers and refusing to leave in 2004, police removed him and charged with trespassing. If you do a little research you'll find a second article where he was arrested for his crack addiction (I shit you not). After that he swore to get pipes off the street. People outside of FL make NO mistake. He is going after the pipe manufacturers next. Me and my friend have been doing several hours of research on this guy. Take this article for example:

make no mistake, these are conservatives in disguise. http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/8/5/02842/29211/782/562654

The reality is we cannot bundle tobacco with the bongs, because from what I read the head shops sell lots of items, stash cans, kief boxes, clothes, music, magazines, rolling papers. All of this will hold them under the 75% quota. Even the cigar shop who tries to sell a corn cob pipe could get overwhelmed with the overflow of business from the headies and get shut down.

Type his name Darryl Rouson into google & google images and see what you find including what i can only describe as a mockery of the judicial system in his stunt of wearing a "bong hard hat" to the house

one last scary quote for you.
"I have no idea what 80 percent of these things are," said Rep. Chris Dorworth, R-Lake Mary, before supporting the measure." - http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/state/head-shops-the-target-of-bill-limiting-the-343418.html

I dunno, you'd think a crackhead would encourage the sale of smoking utensils and anything related or affilliated. You know what they say, cocaine is a hell of a drug.
