Agreed. These people have no idea how good they actually have it in America. They obviously don't know what it's like to be truly oppressed.... Yeah life is unfair and should be better, but we still have it really fucking good compared to how some other people are living.

The answer here is to not go dress like a freak and make a damn fool of yourself, but to arm yourself and work to get off the grid. Most these fucking people look like they've never had a job to begin with and is probably the same reason they think happy hands and catchy signs will actually make a difference. Nothing will change until the people that govern us are the ones that FEAR us, until then OWS is just a jester show for the 1% to laugh at from the comfort of their multi million dollar homes...

Sad but you can see that's where this will head once violence gets out of hand and the people resist.

1% doesn't start with multimillion/biollion dollars worth of paper.

I don't find anyone sitting on tons of illusionary wealth to be considered a 1%er.... they have no capital. All they have is alot of paper which represents debt that will never be payed.
99% of those who people call 1%ers arent really 1% at all. They are Debt men walking.....

look we can play word games all we want but it doenst make a difference. you can call it worthless paper or you can use some term you saw on the daily show but what it comes down to is that is the way the world turns.
the only thing that would ever change that is in some world wide apocalpytic catstrophe scenario were to happend which would make natural resources the only thing of value, which given the billions of years this planet has been around, im not holding my breath that i will see it in my lifetime.
that leads me to a new age american revolution, which given the circumstances of the public today, i also wouldnt hold my breath on seeing that in my life time either. too many americans are too busy, lazy, or ignorant to care, much less do anything to make a significant difference, and even though it seems like the OWC is good intentioned, protesting the rich is not going to make a fuck of a difference.
there is really only a few things that could lead to a revolution.
1) forced rationing of food and water supplies
2) disarmament of the american civilians
3) termination of all communication devices
if these things were to ever happend, than americans will go from seeking luxuries (as most live now...) to fighting for survival.
sure the military has incredibly high tech weapons, but can they really convince people who are sworn to protect the american public to outright slaughter their own brothers and sisters? growing up around large military complexs, i can assure you that these are good people, who may not be the best and brightest...but they would never murder their own countrymen simply because they were given an order.
and the ones who may be brainwashed to carry out such a treasonus act? well.... youd be well suprised how crafty you can become when put in a fight or die situation. and i will simply leave it at that.

The reason why some people are rich and don't have to work 5 days a weak is because their money works for them. So those reach people are way better educated financially and economically. It's what they have to do in order to protect their wealth.
Eventually it's the same factor that allows them to buy the opportunity away from those who don't have to learn how to protect their wealth
how can anybody be so disillusioned that they think an armed resistance stands a chance? "they" will import soldiers so armies firing on domestics isnt an issue. what good are small groups of loosely organized idealists armed w/ at best semi-automatics versus tightly disciplined well trained/organized troops w/ full autos, explosives, tactical support like air and arty and #s? the idea that 5th amendment assures domestic tranquility dies where they limit public access to more aggressive weapons thats why you arent allowed to fab/use explosives or own full auto w/o major red tape

Lol, all they have to learn is how to inherit daddy's money and buy off lawmakers. Everything else is just filler.
Low risk, long term investors don't have to teach themselves that high risk fraudsters will buy deregulation and rip everybody off. All we have to do is acknowledge reality.
You might have read the linked Rolling Stone article. IMO, you absorbed very little of it. Eight pages outlining tax break after tax break and ZERO statistics showing the top's promises of expansion are anything more than the same load of baloney that's been floating for centuries.
