Hey guys, I should be there on Wednesday, and probably only taking a pass for the last day/night ! Gotta work and short on money, but even 2 days should be awesome !

Can't wait to see all the last 420 crew, as well as the new ones and those I haven't met! That's gonna be some amazing time! Anybody planning on staying Friday/Week end ?

I should be easily recognizable...



And can't wait to enjoy some Chillums again...

The way i understand is, that there are no bus and no metro. i think the normal NS trains are still running.

So you can get to the arena train station, but it's still a walk from there to the expo.


Getting from schiphol to central should not be a problem, altho it will be busy as hell.

I'm probably just gonna take a taxi. Unless the train is running smooth I get in super early on the 20th. So maybe I'll get lucky. My spot I'm staying is a 10 min walk from central station.

Have fun everybody, and get extra stoned for me, I gotta quit to go on TASK because of this stupid DWI. Keep it green.

Hello everybody i will be attending the cup this year and Since i am going alone i was wondering if anyone wanted to share a smoke or two...

Also i wanted an advice on the pass because it seems a bit of crap...what do you people think abou it?
do they actually give you something (i know they dont give you any weed) when you show the pass?? A t shirt or somenthing like it??

the pass is 250 e, you can get a day pass for 50 e, you get a t shirt, free bus to expo, woohoo! the right to vote,lol and entrance to the expo and concert's. I was planning on going to the opening day @ borchland but with the bus strike? we'll see. I dont think you will be short of people to share a smoke with)Mack

Pass is very expensive. It gives you the right to attend all the events in the expo and other concerts or seedbanks' parties. During the day some shuttles connect continously the expo to several major coffeshops in town (as I remember Barney, greenhouse, rokerij, noon....). Just pick the right one to return from expo to town.

As far as I read the strike is planned for 24h on nov 20th. If it is about all transports, trains included, we can use shuttles (if weather permits bike would be crazily the best to wander town and get to expo, but It is a long long drive...)

If trains are running it will be ok. Every year we used the train for our first drive to expo. From central station, a couple of euros for a single ticket. I think 5-6 stops. And you are in middle of nowhere...
After coming out the metro we need a 15 min walk to get to expo, which is quite hidden in a industrial area. Just the time to puff a large fatty and you're there. More time to figure out where it is than to walk there....

Expo is where the fair is held during the day. Seedbanks, breeders, parafrenalia... all the stands are there. Smoking is allowed. No tobacco though (they're not so strict anyway...)
Sure it's worth a visit, maybe not the whole cup if preferring daily tickets. Many people to meet and talk with there. You can vote there. You can get samples from people, but No free weed included with the ticket itself or something.

During the night shuttles are out of order, so with the canna bus, so to get to the concerts place you need to move by yourself.
I think daily ticket allows an entrance for that day, but not sure.
For me a whole cup day is enough to b in bed very early, so I seldom go to concerts... Think to this also in considering a daily pass.... It's just a budget issue.
I love the atmosphere in town during the cup. It's a good moment to gather stoners and friends from all over the world who share a passion.

Just a week left, can't wait...
