Hey everyone It has been almost a year since my last grow. Finally put the finishing touches on my flower room which you can see here.

Run 2

On this first run I will be running 48 LVPKs under 3000 watts. Will end up being 1 plant per square foot. I am looking for a very short veg time once in flowering room. So that I can finish each grow a little quicker. I will growing in 50/50 coco perlite. Coco brand is Gold Label.

Nute line up will be.

Heavy 16 Veg/Bloom
MagiCal
Roots Excel
Liquid Karma
Flora Nectar
Not sure on Big Bud and Over Grow yet.
Might be testing heavy 16 new bloom additive Fire.

Here are the ladies in day 7 of veg.

Will be posting updates as I can. Thanks for stopping by.

Hey guys thanks for stopping by. This should be good.

Solo: The irrigation system is not a drip feed setup. They are sprayers/misters from Netafim. They are all pressure regulated 9 GPH. I have 16 sprayers per sprinkler solenoid valve. And a total of 6 valves. I have a Rain Bird ESP-4Mi controlling them. Everything is piped in 3/4 sch 40 PVC. Hope that is what you are looking for. Any other questions feel free to ask.

Day 10 veg

Day 10 veg

Day 10: did first flush with RO PHed @ 5.9. Run off was 5.8 PH 75ppm.

I also topped them. I''m am going to attempt to drop a screen on them. LVPK has a beautiful structure so should work out nicely.

Heres a pic and thanks for the kind words.

Hey krest thanks for stopping back in. I have been busting ass try to get this thing ready. Yes this will be my first run in coco hoping to blow things up.

how often are you watering those things?

Poopy thanks for stopping in. I water every other day. They are in 50/50 coco gold label with perlite size number 3.

Nice bro, looks like they're taking off how much longer will you be vegging for?

Right now they are fighting for space in those 6x6 pots. I am going to transplant into 3 gallon smart pots and place them in the flower room. In there I plan to veg till they start to fill and even canopy. I am guessing around 10 more days at the max. They should love those HPS lights once in there.

another pic later today when I water they have grown a lot since last water.

Looking forward to the updates bro... They will love the xplant and extra space.

Have you considered multiple waterings per day? You got all set up to go that route easy. I've had some nice results compared to once a day/ every other day.

Shhh: I plan to do something along those lines in the next few runs. This being my first run in coco let alone in this new build out I know I will run into a few unforeseen problems. Once I get those issues squared away and get the hang of things should be ready to take it to the next level.

DAY 17

They are ready now to transfer, but I am still working on a few little things. Flush coming today will keep you guys posted.

Looking Sweet! Talk about healthy looking.

Love those smart pots, they really do work. I quit using them only because it added too much additional time to my hand watering routine.

@Stu :dance013:

@BudleyDoRight, Smart pots add to the handwatering time? Can you elaborate before I go pickup a few for next transplant?

RomulusUSA;4757921 @BudleyDoRight said:
You can't just fill the top of the pot and let it drain down into the media like you can with plastic. You have to slowly pour the water in at the rate the medium will absorb it. Otherwise it just runs out the side of the pot. Not a big deal unless you have lots of pots, in my case 30+ to water at a time.

I would definately use them if I was using larger ones. I did 1,2 and 3 gallon. Plants sure seem to like em.

The pots would dry out faster as well, so with more evaporation came a bit more humidity as well.

An irrigation system would do wonders :D Just a pain in the ass to setup. That is why I busted my ass to set it up the first run and not wait till later. Because I know I wouldn't get around to it hahaha

Day 21

Day 21

Ok it is way past the point that they should have moved into the flower room. Day 21 and they are looking good. A total of 31 days from the mother to the point they are at now. I would say next run I will bring them in at about 24-26.

Also found a few thrips start to run around and blasted them with Monterey Garden Insect Spray. Anyone that hasn't had a run in with thrips yet this stuff is GOLD. The active ingredient in it is Spinosad. It causes excitation of the insect nervous system, leading to involuntary muscle contractions, prostration with tremors, and finally paralysis. That is a pretty fucked up way to die, but works in 1-2 applications. Great thread on here Thrips 101.

I mixed up the coco 50/50 with perlite. Just waiting on the 12" inline fan for the charcoal filter in flower room. These girls are already stinky.

Check out my build out thread. I finished install a few tweaks on my chiller. Will hopefully be in the Flower room some time mid week. Stay tuned for updates
