~25 200gal smartie coco grow, woah.

So only 6 plants left on the hill. 2 Diesels and 4 Space Queens.

The XJ's came out phenomenal. They're definitely the star of the year. We'll see how they cure up.

Had to toss a few buds here and there due to rot, but nothing big...maybe QP in all the plants which doesn't seem too bad.

It's been absolutely insane. Drying/Trimming facility is 2hrs from the grow location...and only 3 plants fit in the trailer at a time. Been a helluva busy week. Talking go to sleep at midnight and up at 3am.

Bucking the plants has been insanely time consuming. Have 6 people working for 6 hrs for 3 plants...meaning 12 man hrs per plant. And we're talking really rough chop...lots of fans still floating around.

The drying trailer is completely full aswell as two extra racks we built elsewhere.

Gonna cure in 5gal pales, couldn't find any tupperware or anything we liked. They seem to get a nice seal, so we'll see how that works.

It's pretty sad seeing the hill so empty again. Really gonna miss the girls...it's a deep bond. Feels like my dog is missing or something.

I literally took a nap the other day and felt the presence of the diesel I normally sleep next to..

Hope everyone's harvest is going smooth

Awesome greenfields, you're a powerfull source of inspiration for everyone !

Man that's too many weed drying :D

Hope you love to harvest, even if it's maxibusy time as always ;)

Have a great day

Peace! :rasta:

Thanks Haxi :D

Yeah, I can't help but love it. It's been really nice having lots of different strains, makes for less monotony. Every day we pull a different one.

No way I could work this much if it wasn't joyous. The idea of it being over for the year soon is a total bummer and a welcomed breather at the same time.

Got a good crew of friends helping out so everything is going real sweet.

Cheers

Your grow has been very impressive. I have to commend you on the outdoor coco because your the first I've seen do it. I love a wide variety myself. If it all possible will you post a smoke report of your different strains? Thanks and stay toking my friend.......

Put an A/C in the trailer today.

The temps were running too high on account of the dehuey...and having it off w/ full exhaust wasn't keeping the humidity in check (no intakes).

Really psyched because it's running 70 and 55-60% RH indefinitely now. No more sweating a dayum thing.

Put a UV/Hepa air purifier in there circulating too.

Hopefully we can take a few racks worth out in the next couple days allowing us to chop the last of the plants. The diesels are for sure ready, 2 of the space queens are loving the extra bit of time...one's extremely Thai dominant, dripping in resin but little bud density...hoping the extra days helps

Thanks for the kindness.

No problem.

I smoke these strains on the regular anyways, we grow em indoor as well..so as far as the strains go I could tell you right now.

I think it's gonna be some really smooth smoke...they were flushed for a solid week, which is more than we do indoors. They also didn't get much shooting powder/late bloom ferts because of rains...they missed 5 days of feeding late in flower, got fed 3 times...then were flushed.

The only thing new to the mix is Space Queen, I've only sampled one of the plants.

Basically XJ-13 is the best strain ever. It's got a totally unique smell, a great high, great flavor, great look. That's been my favorite for a solid year now.
I wasn't expecting it to perform so well outdoors, so I'm extremely thrilled on that note.

I'll give an in depth report in a month or so when it's all done curing.

Granted my opinions will be half retarded because I've been smoking herb grown exclusively in House and Garden in coco for the past 9 months...also these same strains.

Congrats on the pull. Dry and cure trailer is great idea.

Thanks, I thought so too. I move around way too much for my own good...so it's nice being able to perfect the drying room without worrying about tearing it down in a month. Permanent inside, totally mobile.

Cheers

Very proper. Best of luck on finding a chill spot next year.

Thanks for the tip on the Royal Gold Basement mix. I've been running pure coco and 25% perlite for years. Might be nice to try something else.

Man, thanks for all the love.

Only 3 big plants left up there, then my two lives can become one again :D

Gonna have to wait another day to chop em down...got to town this morning and the dehuey had backed up...trailer was @ 90% humidity meaning all the bud that was slated to go into buckets re-moistened from it's wet friends.

No biggie though, just means a Saturday night off for yours truly!

We ran some small plants on a friends property...Blue Diesel and Sour Alien are fucking amazing.

Cheers y'all, more pics as it unfolds

Again thanks for the kindness:wave:

Man. If you could show some pics of the Sour Aliens that would be awesome. My friend ran some, but I never got to see any of it.

Enjoy your Saturday night off :)

My friends grew some XJ13 last year in a depo, and it did come out really nice. Was on my list of cuts to pick up.

You're in luck, sour alien was supposed to get chopped today but we ran otta steam n spare shelves...pics tomorrow.

I must say it has a beautiful and unique flower structure..covered in crystal. I plan to run it exclusively in my new indoor room

Abja - I'll post those pics next time I pop on, camera's not here ATM

All the girls are off the hill now.

I've got to say I'm tremendously sad about it. I'm sure next season is just around the corner, but I feel like I shot my dog. Already a hole in my heart.

The other day the AC exhaust duct popped out during the night, meaning I walked in and it was 88...had maxed @ 90 degrees.
Basically the dehuey was roaring, the AC was rolling too...but actually just creating heat since it couldn't exhaust proper. Really crisped everything that'd been in there for more than 3 days. I could have died right the second I walked in.

Been a few sizable hiccups w/ this trailer. Guess that's how it goes, unfortunately it was sort of slapped together last minute not under my supervision (not to shift the blame because it was my design so my fault)

So anywho, all the ladies are off. A good chunk of the crop is in buckets...by tomorrow at least half the crop will be in 5 gal's.

It's also worth mentioning should anyone else be silly enough to want to cure in 5 gallons....DON"T USE HOME DEPOT LIDS!!! They blow balls. The lowes ones peel off no problem...the casa depot's require one of those bucket lid poppers...and it takes a good 25 seconds of reefing per bucket.. x 200 buckets a day...not cool

Okay, I've been up for 20 hrs so I'll go to sleep and come post happy things!

Cheers y'all

very nice work green fields. a true inspiration for sure! happy harvest, and post some of that tremendous harvest when you have the time:tiphat: once again, A+

Thanks for the kindness and thanks for watching Terpene :D

Next year should be a much better show. Was tough documenting the latter part of the season as I was living on a hillside yknow.

I'll take a shot of the finished buds on the above par strains. Other than that the show is mostly over. Only maybe 10 shelves left w/ bud on em drying, everything else is in 5gal's for the cure and waiting to be trimmed up.

One of the Space Queens coming in from last week:dance013:

Sour Alien (has a very pungent piercing smell, definitely gonna run it indoors)

Growing in a dam warzone here, tweaker capital of the country..Indian res on 2 sides, Mexicans on the other two...though I'm happy about them being around.

Next year its secluded chill location, I couldn't take years on end of this spot. :)

nice to hear you are getting out...we were in a similar situation too, finally getting to a more remote mountain spot with high elevation..

those buds look nice and swolled up man good shiet...love the pic of the monster in the trailer lol
