ty for the link maj. i think i can figure it out. i took a bunch of pics with my phone but im having trouble getting them to my comp. so tonight when i check on the girls, i'll grab a digi cam and get some shots of the room in full swing. just going to miss the "in progress" shots from the last month and the room rebuild. no biggie.
i got every thing finished i wanted to this weekend and the girls are in full swing and started into the flip on sat. everything is loving the new home. i also switched up mix soil mix this run because of suppliers in my area. i always use promix bx but the one shop that carries it was out and didnt even have any on order. all the other shops by me carry sunshine mix so i grabbed a bale af that, and i also switched to ff happy frog from ffof because of a bros success with his hf mix (seemed to work better with the ff marine qusine). so my mix is now 1 bale ss#4, 1 bag ffhf, 5 lbs ewc, 20 tbls ffmc, and then amended with 6.2ph water with ff microbrew and subculter. cooke for a week turned twice and she was dank earthy smelling when the girls got transplanted. ill get the pics asap guys.

ok guys, these are from a few weeks to a month ago. was more of a pic posting test haha. 1st pic shows both the front and side entrance (kept the side open until i finshed, and the front had glue drying when pic was taken). the exhaust blower is in the box now attached to the filter (thats where my exhaust use to be). pic of the wiring is just to show how the ballast are mounted. most of the wires in the pic were from my tools and i never leave plugs and wiries on the ground. pics of the clones and moms were right after their recovery from some sickness so they look a little crappy, but have all sice come back to normal. the last pic of the moms was taken right after the last round of cuts were taken and the new pics ill post laster will show the explosion of growth over the last 10-12 days with them. hoping to get some of the updated pics up later today.

here are the updated pics guys (still low quality, sorry). you'll see how i have a 4' flouro mounted in the box so i can shut down the hids to work and not be blinded, and you'll see the in/out temp display in my lung room (the outside temp sensor is in the box). also, the last pic shows a little experiment i'm doing this run with 4 special hazes and 4 ecsd. i'm running 1 of each in the following 2gal & 3 gal smartpots and 2gal & 3gal plastic bags to get an idea of the difference in yield between the four. also got the trellis up and put the hazes and dies training and the clones and seedlings should be pushing through the trellis by weekend. :tiphat:

nice work mrheadie! Have you used the SP's before? Cause I can tell you that SP's are worth every penny. Those plastic grow bags work well when you're starting out and broke... but they can't compare. Anyway, keep up the awesome work. It looks like you're going to do very well from over here.

nada, but one of my bros has. he didnt really see much difference and went back to the plastic, but he doesnt keep tabs like we here do and i have to take his words with a grain of salt. i've done better with the plastics than allot of people i know that use the em, but im pretty careful with my watering and make sure it not just running down the sides. i've been interested in these and the airpots (marlo got my on those) for a while now, but i have a couple hundred bags and i hate throwing things away! i'm really interested to see the difference and i'll make sure to keep you guys informed on the difference for me. i usually pull 25-35grms/plant horizontal (with my dialed strains, 2 wk veg) depending on strains. cant wait to see the diff pull in vert and the sp. thx to all you guys for the info and inspiration.

your friend probably didn't keep the pots wet... They dry out faster, so you have to water them again sooner... but I'm sure you already knew that. ;)

thx shhh.
bobble, that is my exact thought and with the guy im refferring to its def a possibility. i soaked them pretty good with the first watering and they were pretty good last night. i can also see my bro watering the whole crop at once reguadless of if all needed it.
whew,,, blazed some od nebula before work this morning and just realized how fricking high i am! soaring! time to go find something to do to make a slow boring day go by. my boss has gotta love when i have good sativas. shit gets done!

Hey mrheadie, thanks for noting the difference in water use between the levels....

I hadn't really thought about that tbh and sounds like a major PITA once things are in full bloom..... As my lights will be stacked I'm not sure if the same will apply as I'm guessing the difference in use has something to do with photosynthesis....

But since you touched on it I been looking at a system called Autopots they come in 2gal and 3.5 gal sizes and use a siphon tech to get the water to the plants, a bit like a flood and drain in action.... Lots of guys using these with coco and getting stellar results.

Anyways point is, seems blumats are out of the question unless using a super compost (no xtra feed from start to finish). So these seem to be the next best thing.... Entry costs are slightly high though

shhh, blumats are on my list of "must haves", but i'm going to look into those autopots. it can def be a pita to get to the girls in bloom, but when i was horizontal i just pulled half the box out and checked them all every 2-3 days. now going vert with the trellis in place, it may pose some challenges come week 6 or so. if you notice on my box i made a side door to access 1 side from the back, but i still have 2 other sides that need caring for so i'm def wanting the blumats or some kind of auto watering. i've seen with the blumats guys just drenching their medium when they need to feed them and the blumats just dont water for a while. thats was my thinking with them, i'll get my soil amended a little more with organics and only have to feed once a week or when they need it by hand. hoping to have something in place next run or 2 runs from now.

day 12 flowering update

day 12 flowering update

whats up homies? things rolling along nicely for me with vert, however i did find a couple strains (white widow and purple goo)that dont look like they going to make the cut for vert runs and will be saved for flat runs. but,,,,,, the ecsd, beisel, special haze, and my cindy#4 are loving it. a few of my new seedings also look like they're digging vert but without knowing the finished structer thats only a guess. i did find a couple males, 1 ecsd s1, 1 ecsdxspecial haze/cali kush, and 1 cornell fem (so much for fem seeds bro! haha, my boy and his science test). i'm keeping the ecsd s1 and the cornell to work with along side my bogglegum male. could be some nice crosses to try in the near future. i took some more pics for yas, but a few arent coming through so i'll just give you a couple. one that isnt coming through shows the fabric filters i put on all my intakes. i use these in my window ac's to block pollen and mold/mildew. they work great for the ac, so they should help protect the room if needed. preventive maintenance! i use it in all aspects of my life! on to the pics homies. i threw in a couple dinner pics fior you guys, brown stew chicken and steamed cabbage the other day.
