even more reason to join the CTA. We are building our numbers and we have been sitting in on the preliminary meetings with HC. Trying to protect the rights of growers and patients.

Oops I missed the word "legally". Is there any other info on this? Just wondering what companies are supposed to be involved, American or otherwise.

HC making changes to canaduhs system. Trying to push out the growers and making it so a patient cannot grow his or her own meds

Complete control from the gov,t...wonder what.s next.All the big time gang growers are gonna love this move..the prices will be thru the roof.....I,m gonna grow 5 huge trees,if that is cut off point before getting manditory jail time.I,ve seen it all in my almost 63 yrs. on the planet.
I remember the 60,s and 70,s and man it looks like it may be worse in the coming months or years.....All I can say is f**k them.

Big Pharma involved, means they want to make money, lots of money.
Does this mean, it will be much easier for people to be allowed medical weed?

Big Pharma might have something to say, about its customers, having to go from doctor to doctor, city to city for some people. To buy their product?

They want to make weed like any other drug and catorgize it as as manufactured like any prescription drug. The courts can't force the doctors to sign prescriptions so I doubt it will be not be easier!..

...Other wise those taking opiates would be allowed to grow poppies,etc!

Just because DG and PP licenses are being replaced by Commercial licenses does NOT mean the MMJ industry will be taken over by large pharmaceutical companies! When the justice minister was asked who would be granted the commercial licenses she replied 'all who meet the criteria' or something to that effect. If you visit health canada's page on proposed new regulations you can clearly see what the criteria will be!

1.Basically you cant be opperating in a neighborood... this means agricultural land or industrial property.
2. You need to be a company and not an individual.... so incorporate a name, it costs 50 bucks
3. You need to show operating records... hire an accountant.
4. You need to have your facility set up and inspected BEFORE you get your license... this is the best part to me because it means the first to get the license will be people with current licenses who already meet the criteria will be the first to get the new license.
there are a few more but that is the gist of it.
You need to keep in mind that you can't patent marijuana so pharmaceutical companies will be less inclined to enter the industry.The profit margins are not big enough. Big pharma companies dont want the stigma that comes along with MMJ iether.

comm licenses and those who operate them, will be under a much higher level of scrutiny, henceforth making marketing of access illegally much more difficult...

The gov. doesn't care who grows it as long as they can tax you on one side and jail you on the other. Cash flow.

Hey, If your taking the medical rout, then be happy you can legally smoke period.

I look forward to trying to make a business growing Cannabis, a Legit, tax paying business. If this is how it goes down of course, who reallllly knows what goes through harpers thick head. I will either be growing Veg for my community or Ganja.

Would be great if they Made it legal to grow a small amount for EVERYONE. That will not happen any time soon tho. But be reall yo, not such a bad thing that they want to make this more Legit and regulated.

this is sad and very scary for real . at l;east senator nolin came out today about the marijuana part in c-10 , he ask to remove this from c-10 and said he will vote against if not removed .

rob nicholson publicly said ' there will no thing as medical marijuana if we have a majority '

believe me they will fuck every thing and make medical user life a painfull thing .they are crazy period on an epic proportion .

also i would be careful with these sign in chain doctor ...i can be certain but these place must have a red sigh over their head . the kind of doc that sign hundreds of license must be the conservative priority target as we speak .

it can be a total nightmare the day they will fuck up one of these doc and then hundreds of patient will have to search all over again ...in panic mode for a renewal .

and i can believe that the cons are crazy enough to use the mmar list in order to raid grower when they will make it illegal to grow your own . compassion from the harper regime ? dont expect any mercy . the legal way will take months or year and the damage will be done ...be real its a nigthmare !

the harper regime gestapo will search us in ww2 nazi fashion , we are listed ....

it will happen and i sound like a total fucking douche but conservatives are that bad and no fucking hope before 4 long pain in the ass years

duct and cover because we will get nuke for real .
