im just goin by my comparessions !! and sadly we dont have regular lemon haze to compear so thats a none starter !
from my findings fems dont show the same veriation !!
to me you have better chance of finding unique qualitys in regular !!

i dont know could be that the selection process is more geared to finding females that are good for feminizing instead of strengh flavour ect ect
but im just goin by my own findings
blueberry was a good example i had 20 regs and 10 fems !!
the fems were all sativa leaning 2 basic phenos !!
the regs i got stout ones tall ones ones with no flavour ones with massive flavour !

Yea, I was just curious if there was anything scientific behind that. I would think since your are combining to separate plants that you still have all the outcomes possible. You are just replacing the male chromosome. I dont know shit about genetics but if there were a lower variation I would think that there would be a scientific explanation.

sure someone will have a scientific answer !! but to me it seems logical that the male is goin to be better at produceing genes ect ect in its pollen becouse thats what its soul porpose is to do , what its designed for !

The process the "fem" seeds go thru is transient it has no lasting effect!!... YOU do NOT want variation from "fem" seeds they have a target market... in good situations a female or females are selected on breeding criteria and used.. you want plants that do not segregate... and are "true" breeding for certain traits...
@Bobman maybe the selected super lemon haze was a bad choice and not really a candidate for breeding, maybe they just found a stand out individual and just hit it regardless... sounds like they just found it and selfed it... and it segregated!... (Edit: or they crossed it to an XX but again the chosen plant wasn't very "true" breeding.)

Whatever is on the Y can only be passed to the son.. as it must be sex linked just to occur to the Y everything else must be autosomal! so Y would it matter?

and like i said maybe its the slection process , witch is geared to been stable rather than special !!
lets face it if everyone selecected for stability we wouldnt have some of the best strains in the world now !!

Blueberry is more than likely unstable because it was bred with too many 1:1 matings.. and the fact that it contains many mutant genes that cannot be fixed!!

you do the same, grow out 10 femmed and 20 regs of the same strain from same breeder and report your findings back !

after vegging for like 8 weeks, then flowering for another 2, only to find out 2 out of 3 are MALES...that's when you stop using standard beans. Most people use clones though. I don't. So I need to be sure what I'm growing will give me medicine. It's my first time getting feminized seed but I think I'm looking at white rhino...I need a good indica with strong production and hybrid vigour. I'll probably get a 5 pack. I think feminized 5 packs are really the way to go.
