Road Trip California

My girl didn't want to go. She has her reasons and tries to baffle me with her logic. I had planned to go with or without her all summer. I need to go hang out in California for at least a month. I would love to stay longer. It is a big state with lots to see. I love the Desert, I love the mountains and the coast. I have never been to Sequoia National park and I believe I will get it in this time. This is not a weed tour per se, but weed will still be a big part of it. I just want to experience the floods after harvest personally.

have fun . i tour cali every few years. follow the sierras up and then haed to coast and back down. fun ass trip. the trip for me starts at hospital rock. coming back to sd is sort of a downer after all that beauty. last trip i brought 8 oz of various weed. met lots of people and toked em up. the next stop after hospital rock is a no camper/rv site . very few if any kids and a stream right next to it. good for swimmin and trout plus toke at will

I can just see all four of you in about a month's time, sitting on the corner of Hwys 20 & 101, all scraggly, fucking COLD, with these cardboard signs with scissors drawn on them. I'll give you a bud and some $$ for food.

Ha, no I am not a weed bum. We will not be living high on the hog but we will have some fun. I will bring back some fond memories. Cold and hungry sitting under a giant redwood and smoking a bowl, passing joints in front of a bar, waking my dog along the coast, and just living. If I had my say in it we would winter in the southeast past of the state. I have always wanted to get high under a Joshua tree. All depends on the money. We don't need much for our way of doing it.

I doubt I will make it to Stockton, Sacramento or even Oakland, except just passing through. The bigger cities have nothing to offer me these days.

hit me up if you come thru la and cant find bud lol. If you have never been here before go to venice beach on the weekend, if gf is coming go to santa monica pier/3rd street promenade for shopping. plenty of good food here. if you got money you can rent any car in the world for a day. def. drive up the coast. lots of cool hikes in LA surprisingly. etc.

I'm Australian, but used to work in the mountains of Lake Tahoe in winter. It was something I kept getting drawn back to year after year.

Fun times, nice country, nice people.

The ganja wasn't bad either.

we're starting out from MN in my diesel pusher motorhome, my coach gets 11mpg while my regular ride gets me 17mpg, not renting rooms every night plus pet fees for my dogs makes up the fuel cost difference on any trip I make.

splitting fuel costs with a 2nd party for this long ride actually makes it cheap, cheap enough to allow a car rental @ our destination.

i know i know,......motel8 in Cali allows small and medium size dogs at no charge. Fyi

along the interstate highways I always pay extra for the dogs, but then again I like to stay in VERY clean rooms, I'm real fussy that way.
