... but between this outdoor crop and the indoor rooms im running im fucking exhausted...been surrounded by weed for almost every waking hour this week!

I would wager I am not the only one that wishes he had that problem too.

I've been out looking for cats, I think the birds are saving me. I have one plant I'm going to hit with some spinosand after reading about it in this thread, I've been really holding myself back on nuking them with my usual weaponry.

been trimmin for the last few days covered in resin and leaves...really liking the LVPK and LA con...nice fat colas good frost and smell. the OG nugs are puny but look to be real easy to trim....the sun dried off the moisture from last nights rain...but more thunderstorms on forecast for october 1st so we are chopping everything this week.

yea we have totally trashed the trailer property there is weed everywhere you look...cant even walk to the bathroom without getting fan leaves stuck to your feet...resin on every possible surface...weed hanging in every room lol. i should have some close up shots of the nugs in a few days or so waiting for everything to dry out a bit more......nobody up here has strains like these most of the growers are running green crack and purple erkle, boring..

the cherry is by far my favorite...the smell on them is ridiculous and some of them purpled up.....the SFV smell is almost dead on to indoors, but she came out a little airy and leafier...but still really top notch weeed...not gonna run again next year shes an indoor strain..

the LVPK and LA con look almost dead similar...really bubba kush dominant with that nice earthy kush smell...big fat colas and frosted up by late september, we will run her again next year.

lol, a buddy in the next town over has the same deal going, gotta bearcrawl around his trailer because lines are everywhere possible.

I tripped balls just being their though, his setup wasn't secure at all, right next to a gas station in podunk area with just a few scrawny trimmers keeping an eye on things. Same town had 5 people with guns come in and hit someone else 2 days prior.... while I was there I was closest to the front door, someone came by and opened the door abruptly, I hit the deck! jumped into the hall lol.... felt like an idiot but was glad to see i still have some reflex LOL.

never know this time of year!

Sorry if this is a dumb question but why do you cali guys flip the fuck out when it rains? Is it because when it rains there it comes down in fucking buckets? Because I'm in Canada and we get lots of heavy rain where I am and we got the cold so its a breeding ground for mold but most of us still manage to be mold free. I dont understand why its such a threat to you guys out there that you cut early? Sorry I know its probably a stupid question, maybe its cause of the humidity there? Even if the rains heavy you guys got some fucking hot ass sun that would dry the plants right out...if your plants get sun for a good part of the day I dont see why rain is such a problem....

LOL yeah tell me about it.. .25 inches lol thats funny.. try getting dumped with 9 inches in a day and a half and than a week later another 5.. although we rarely get this much rain, its still a tremendous amount.

mostly paranoia and precaution i guess.....i cant risk having everything out in the rain, plus it was ready, so we chopped. could have gone another week or two easy, but why risk losing shit to mold..

i left the bottom half of each plant still on the vine so we will see if these strains are mold resistant.....

Good for you for removing and being cautious of mold. Every decent sized sample I see of OD seems to have mold or obvious mold cut-out spots in it that drive me crazy.

I'd bet that stuff ya took is good and ready, maybe not at the peak date, but that's outdoor growing right? Just imagine the shit some folks will be puttin out there LOL!

Great harvest yes. I bet you are happy. All that free sunlight.

A lot of people are cutting early. I just helped trim for some family that pulled theirs last week. It got hit by some rain but not a drop of mold. None that I can see anyway.

I grow outdoors in Nor Cali. I know a lot of people pull because of rot or mold/mildew. I live inland and my plants have plenty of air circulation so that has never been a big concern. If I have any thick plants I'll open them up for better circulation when it rains.
My main concern with rain is how much it weighs down the buds. We have to take precautions like putting down cardboard so the bottom buds don't end up in the mud. Or caging them tighter so the branches don't weigh down and snap. Also, a lot of time wind will go along with the rain and if they're not caged good you'll get a lot of damage.

Well the lower halfs have been getting pounded by rain for the last week and the cherry pies have turned almost completely purple! not seeing any mold anywhere....most of the nugs are bulking up and putting on really nice frost! the cherry pie is really amazing, the smell is straight granddaddy purple and durban, the color is dark purple and the frost sprinkles on top...sun this whole week so we are letting them ride it out another week or so! taking a nice little break from all the trimming, all the tops have been dried and trimmed and are finding their way into the pipes and joints of happy patients!

the cherry pie dried up nice, its not the best looker because the leaf to bud ratio is kind of high.... but the smell totally redeems it...1 pound will stink up your entire house

LVPK larf turning purple too

SFV OG not turning purple at all, but still rank lemon greasy fuel, smells almost dead on to the indoor version..this stuff looks good the pics dont do justice...most people wouldnt realize this is outdoor because the smell is so kushy and strong and the frost is also very developed..

nice nice!!! id like to try that sfv and fire og one day.. keep it up bro!

I actually threw a "fire OG" mom that i got from harborside out in the garden..it was in a 200 in the top corner but i never posted pics of it because it was so shitty looking. i have read that mother plants arent the best because they lose vigor, but the quality on the fire OG compared to the SFV is alot different. the Fire barely stretched after being put outside, the probably only yielded a half pound. the nugs look similar but arent as dense.
