It looks like the tops are above the lights, but i took the tops to get the lowers fatter. And i had been smoking nasty crap, which was mostly leaves an some trim. Now i can make brownies with it, lol.

Four days to 60 days in 12/12. I like taking some early for an up type buzz and then some a bit more rusty. But its pretty damn nice now and could take it all. But i will let them go a bit longer, just to fill in that one plant. The Indica is so damn good, you can see the one top up really close to the light, its got mad buds growing all up the stem. Its the one one the right, the one on the left has buds growing well too, which iv cut the tops off so these buds would get bigger. They need to get bigger so the more i will have.

I am getting outside pics to day too.

Outside shots, getting closer............

Outside shots, getting closer............

This WW x PH cross looks sweet as heck. She's working on building a nice cola for me, but still smaller buds cover the plant. I still want her to go 3 more weeks, but there is a ripper around, my friend lost a 15fter and a 10'. They left a big ass cola, my money goes to someone he knows. But i dont want the bastard over my way, fucker, lazy ass rippers.

Anyway i luv this one:bigeye:

This is Sativa 1, which i found on the ground last night. I thought she was looking for light, but shes top heavy, if you look close iv pushed her against some brush. If shes on the ground today im taking her as shes not getting any sun up against that shield of growth. Plus its going to rain the next few days and she will get moldy so i think its my best option. The stem right at the ground level is pinched off, so tyeing her i think i9s a waste of time. Probably shoulda taken her when i saw her on the ground.

This is Sativa 2, which i did some bending of a few branches to see if i might get a better yield then Sativa 1, which was topped like the other, but nothing else. I plan to let her go at least 3 more weeks. If i could get some sun, then its all good, but its not lookin good:watchplant:

Thanks for the help with the pics guys:), its much easier this way too, plus the Albums get built up with good pic's.

Maybe i should get a yield on my grow? See just what i got, just for fun. Im happy with what iv been getting as each grow, i have got better yields. But now im curious as to just what im pulling. But im sure a scrog would give better numbers so maybe il compare this grow with a scrog from clones.

a scrog would help increase yield. scrogging basically opens up the entire plant to light at a single level. each bud has a chance to get big.

also, don't know if your re-veg's will produce as well as clones or seedling. i've never done any reveg's...

and finally, how about a vertical scrog. this might be perfect for you.

1. hang a light or lift a light vertically (not blocking air flow from the fans)

2. put a plant or two in front of the light.

3. use a trellis/screen of some sort to let the plant climb and fill up the trellis.

4. buds will develop and grow towards the light, giving you a VERTICAL SCROG !!!

Well man i did run them vertical on that NL as the area was to small for the lights to hang. It opened up the NL, plus the other Indica i took from the tent to see what would happen. We just turned them about ever 2 days,it was called my ''three headed monster'' in my album. So i have been thinking about it, im thinking it might be easier for me to work with too, as a reg scrog might be tough for me to reach.

The re veg is one of the best methods, if you cut them right on the last harvest. But i take the re veg's outside, they really rock, if the damn critters stay away. I may keep one of each for a mother plant of each strain, then give them to a friend to grow outside, cuz il be moving in a couple months. Thats why i thought i would just use them for clones.

You should do a re veg some time, the plant is already there, ya only pull it for fresh soil and change light cycle back to veg. Its very easy IMHO, but iv grown Bonsai trees for years so im not afraid to trim roots and pull em from there pots at any time.

Well you read my mind as thats pretty much what im thinking of doing. I have a white cab now, which would do one plant, but a month veg time and could go over 6' so im thinking a nice yield. My plants now are in very small pots, but worked fine. I can see white roots at the bottoms of my pots, i just need to water/feed each or ever other day and have had no issues.

Pic from Album. This plant went through hell, but got great meds from it.

Something like this? :

Were I to grow a landrace Thai again, I would place the plants between the wall and screen. Would increase airflow once the branches fill out.

Well this is close to what im thinking, but in a tall white storage like wood box. I bet that Thai was a job Rusty, i know WW was about ready to pull his hair out.

The above flowering was only like this cuz my tent wasn't here yet.

Had we some better insight going into the grows, things could have gone much smoother. Ends-up that this landrace Thai could have gone for about a 6 month flower cycle. Caused a back-up in the grow rooms and was a prissy strain. We both cut it short, but WW's was more mature than mine.

Looks like a bottle of cherry cough syrup exploded, lol.

With a vertical screen, don't prevent access to the back for yourself. Twas one of the reasons I kept mine against the wall. I thought it would suck having to climb over plants that were tied to the screen just to collect old fan leaves and do the trimming for light and airflow. There was still airflow, but just not as much as if the space was larger. (like on the other side of the plant)

I don't really need the screen any more, but the 6" squares are handy for seeing how tall they are, and seeing how far from the lights they are without breaking-out the tape measure.

this is what i was talking about. grow the plant on the back edge of the screen. tie and train to fill screen, but keep plant on backside of the screen. buds will grow on the inside of the screen towards the light ;)

Only problem is the hormones in the plant will sill always flow to the highest point, While the lower buds will certainly get more light and produce slightly better the effect won't be nearly as evident as in a horizontal SCROG where all the tops are held at the same hight by the screen.

Just my :2cents:

so laying the plant flat makes a difference? :dunno:

in my scenario every bud site would be the same distance from the light as well...

Rusty explained it to me on another site, and I've seen it to be true in my own grows as well.

I grow almost exclusively SCROG, I train my girls during vege when I can, and train stretch to the screen during that period after the flip.

Sometimes I'll run out of room to train, and am forced to let a top go UP instead of keeping it down low to the screen. Without fail, the one that goes UP is much larger than the rest of the buds that got trained, and the ones that were trained are somewhat smaller than expected. This has happened on lateral branches that were growing close to the root mass, and not only the "Top" of the plant.

It's proven VERY true with my "Graftomum" I've trained tops on her down because they were growing too fast, and they slowed to a crawl, while other tops which I wanted to grow and weren't exploded.

This cross was great from the tent so im woundering how she does under the sun. I still have 2 1/2 weeks to go on her too.
