Here's the deal. I never claim to be the smartest guy in the world. I'm no scientist either. I'm just a person that devotes every second of my life to growing weed from the second I wake up to the moment I go to sleep,then I dream about growing weed till I wake up. Every day.
I would rather buy a product then make it myself in many cases,I'm a busy fucking person and theres only so many hours in a day. I like bud candy,I don't like feeling like I'm being insulted for using it. This thread is for having fun talking about growing weed. This last page is not fun for me. I had 3 teeth pulled today and am already kind of pissy.

I would never intend to diss. I respect you big time. I know you have mad skills, and a vast knowledge I look up to. I just thought you might have some input as why you choose BC over other cheaper, effective methods. It was a question. Sorry about your teeth mon. I wouldn't be the happiest guy either. feel better

Apologies from me also man. No offense intended and certainly wasnt slighting anyone using store-boughts. Hell, personally, I run the Bud Candy, Hygrozyme, Grow More, Max-Sea and Cal-Mag along with a few others as I dont have a lot of time either. Just tryin to give a larger perspective as to the business end of growing. I think it's worth noting but I didnt need to get all soap-boxy using your thread. Sorry again anf hope yer feelin better...CC

Ganja D, I hope you didn't feel insulted by what I wrote.

People have different goals, aims, limitations, resources.

I am trying a lot of experimentation this year, and I have a very small crop. I feel a strange mixture of pride and inferiority about it all. I am not sure that I communicated that in my post.

With respect to your thread, I think that responses like yours will help shape how people behave here. You get lots of "right ons!" and not much discussion on this thread, that's OK. I've learned plenty from just the photos you've posted. Butte, on his thread, has actually asked people not to get off topic, people seem to respect that for the most part.

Glad you got those teeth out, I could use a few of the broken ones in the back pulled as well. Maybe after harvest...

i looked through your posts and i was trying to find out what strain your Mr. nice plant was ?

that plant is amazing... ive seen many plants here on the mag and that plant seems to be the farthest ahead in flower out of most all of the other outdoor plants posted here on the mag... perhaps your pic might be the freshest.... very impressive work though...

The Mr.Nice is a clone of G13 X Hashplant. It's a common clone in Northern Ca. I've seen a lot of people grow it but I've never seen it get this fat before.
I put one plant in my male room and did an open pollination with males from 12 different strains for fun. It's drying now and seeds will be sent in for freebies and server fund donations.
It'll be called "A Nice Surprise".

amazing looking plants ganja d mate. i've been thinking of giving bud candy a try for awhile now, and was wondering if you've ever used it in a hydro setup? also does it enhance the smell and taste of each strain, or do all strains end up with a similar taste/smell?

Yes,I've used bud candy in a flood and drain hydro set up. It works great. I stop using it after week 5 or 6 depending on the strain. I don't think it leaves a similar taste in strains.
Compared to runs I've done using molasses,bud candy produces way more and bigger trichomes than I've ever seen.

I'll take some pictures later,I think you'll be pleased. The DB X WW is one of the standouts but it has lot's of variation being an f1. I have 8 females from seed,3 a keepers big time. I make hundreds if not thousands of f2's of the 3 keepers with 2 males selected from over 12 males in the spring. I also made lots of hybrids. But yea,most look to be done early,one is being taken tonight,one probably in less than a week,and most before Oct 10th.

Of the keepers one is OG dom in terms of trichomes,look,and smell. But,it's yield and bud to leaf ratio is crazy. Also as it ripens the hairs turn bright orange leaning towards the C99. Its is one the best plants i've ever seen or grown. I crossed it with Pitbull OG X SD IBL,OG X Chemdog,and Sensi Durban so far.

One is very C99 dom and may the the plant I'm the most excited to smoke. It's yield is HUGE,it is just a crazy exciting plant. It looks and smells amazing. I got so excited about it I probably made a few thousand f2's and some hybrids as well.
The other keeper is the biggest yielder,which is quite the statement. It's a mutt of a polyhybrid and I can't tell what it resembles the most. It is about as frost as a plant can get with as big a yield as I've seen. I will take some pics later.

Also some of the OG X SD crosses I have a coated with frosty resin glands and yielding beyond my expectations. I'm making lot of seeds,it is just crazy!

Things are going great and I will take some pics later if I have time.

Forecast says 70% rain tomorrow. Nothing I can do but hope for the best. I'm ready,bring it on.
Things here are very exciting right now in the gardens of weeden. The smells of Sour D's,OG's,and overall amazing herb hits your nose the second you go anywhere.

question about your seeding method, can you reuse that male branch on a dif plant after you have done your method,?>? like if i wanted to take that bag off and branch, then put it on a dif pheno of a dif plant, ect???? im about to make some cross's and this seems like a no brainer for me thanks

Yes,sometimes I'll use one bag with one male branch on 3-4 female branches.

Here is that Diesel Berry X Witches Weed. This is the OG leaning pheno I described in my last post.

This is the pheno that is a monster yielder and a good mix of all the strains in this polyhybrid.

I took a ton of other pics I'll post later.
