holy..............shiiii

Monster colas man I hope mine fill out that much! Whats the density like in this photo? Nice find and good luck with weather bro !!

Thanks. She is a beast. Purples up nice if you let her go,but it easily molds. Hope yours get fat too.

This is OG X Chemdog #2. This clone is spreading like wild fire. Frosty, big yield, great tasting strong smoke, finishes early. OG with a twist. Good mix of the two strains neither side is dominant.

This is my SSSDH. This clone is some special smoke especially during the daytime. Not too racy. Very unique special smell and taste. Very frosty and very vigorous. One of the biggest yielders I've ever seen in terms of size of the buds. Kills it inside and out. Made lots of f2's and crosses with her. One of the best.

Trees are looking good my friend. 1 of my closest friends goes out to cali and works for the "Old Man" in the green triangle. I'm hoping he can find away to get some of those elite cali cuts back to the midwest. I'm ready for a taste of some of cali's finest outdoor. It's also nice to know that our deathstar is being used in cali outdoor and the colas get up to a size of a football. Peace Ganja....

Really beautiful plants. I love what you're doing in your garden.... that SSSDH has had my eye this whole grow, that's one I want to get for next season.

Your skills show through with each pic Ganja D, thanks again for sharing with us.

Took some nice shots. Here is the Mr.Nice.
It never got to veg much, but sure is beefy. My plan for next year is to run sup lights over my raised beds and plant Mr.Nice clones May 15 from 5 gallon pots. I'll take clones March 15th and take away sup light July 1. That should make some 6+ pound Mr.Nice plants.

Still not a big fan of the smoke though.

This is my SSSDH. Not the best pic. This may be the biggest yielder I've ever seen. Wish you could smell it. Heaven on earth.

This is Rez's Sfv OG X SD IBL f2. It was hard to choose which picture best showed how frosty it is from the ones I took. It smells like an amazing OG was chilling one day and a dank sour diesel just tackled her and rubbed up all over her. I get pretty happy and excited when I walk past this plant,I usually have to stop for a few minutes and leave with resin all over my nose. It's funny how every time I see someone they always tell me I have some dark shit on the bottom of my nose.

Here is some Durban pollen. I pollinated all day. Mostly OG clone, ecsd, sssdh,OG X Chemdog,DSD,and Diesel Berry X WW.

Buds are blowing up over here. Just fed heavy today with Age old bloom,ej catalyst,AN bud candy, and geo blast worm castings steeping in a tea bag. Might top dress most strains one more time, but it's a nice time release. I used about 1.5 - 2 cups of high P guano, 0.5 cups high N guano, 0.5 cups fish powder ( 4-28-6 ),and 2 cups Geo Blast EWC for the last top dressing on each 200 gallon smart pot. It takes a while to break down and much of it remains on the surface of the soil after watering in by hand. So it's a nice time release. I top dress about every 3 weeks, but each strain get a little tweaking.
Growin weed!

GD, greetings from Lassen!

Can you explain what you're doing there with the paper bag? I see it's helping label, at least for now, is it also to isolate the flowers you're pollinating? What else?

Edit: Looking at it better, I wonder if that's just what you've got your pollen in, call it a powder horn. How are you applying it? (All these questions 'cause I'm a first time pollen chucka this year, hitting up everything I'm growing with Tom Hill DC/Haze f2 and Jack the Ripper pollen.)

I cut a branch off a male that is in full flower and place it in the bag. Then I remove most of the fan leaves from the female branch I intend on pollinating. I place the bag over the female branch, tape the end closed, shake it up,leave it on for a few hours or as long as a day, then remove the bag very carefully and label the branch.

love all the updates this year ganja d, appreciate you keeping us up to date. they seem to be frosting up nicely, how long does your typical grow season go till.. november? love how you treat your plants, with the super soils, teas and what not... its the only way to go.. catalyst is great isnt it! do you use just molasses at all towards harvest? ive seen some great growers use that bud candy, is it omri? i remember awhile back you mentioning about creating your own soil and putting it on the market? hows that shaping up?

sorry for the 21 ganja, just havent been by in awhile and admire your style.

Good questions Warthog. First, as far as the season goes different strains and plants are done at different times. Harvest will begin as soon as this weekend and with the exception of 2 SSH's I hope to be done harvesting tops of all plants by Nov 1. SSSDH,Blue Dream, and Chemdog X Sour Diesel will be some of the last strains to be ripe.
Bud Candy is not omri listed. Other than that I'm completely organic. Bud candy is not some harsh chemmy stuff and I couldn't be any happier with it. I know lots of people who use molasses, trust me it does not compare. Also with bud candy I only use 2 ml per liter,so less than 8 ml's per gallon. Not bad. I used Bud Candy on my last indoor crop and my collective couldn't understand my secret to how I got Mr.Nice and Headband so frosty. He said it was the best Nice and Headband he's seen.
I'm not trying to be normal or average,Bud Candy is a cost efficient and effective way of making my herb truly stand out.

As far as marketing my soil mix,it's tricky. But yes shortly a company will have a few products that I created. I'm not going to lie, these soil products will change the game for outdoor growers and eventually indoor growers as well.

Glad your enjoying my posts and this thread. Also I read a post you made today about dreaming of growing outdoors to help patients since you were 13. I also dreamed of growing outdoors in Cali before 215 existed. I developed a game plan and with a lot of luck and a lot of hard work here I am. I just tried to be the best person I could be. To be honest,Cali needs less growers, but it needs more growers that care, good luck.:tiphat:

^ exactly....we need more growers with a eye for quality and good genetics....alot of growers dont care about end product because they sell it all...i know GD smokes his own herb from these gardens and i feel what hes saying, you dont wanna show people subpar nugs....only the best of the best, to show other growers you got the skill and mindset to produce true quality..

good advice on the bud candy....ive been hitting my ladies with EJ bloom, catalyst, fox farms chaching.....and im gonna add that bud candy in there this week, i know an old school grower out here that uses bud candy and his stuff always has a good frost and smell to it....

I don't necessarily agree with that due to the market being so flooded these days that you gotta have a decent quality product to get a decent return.
