What's new

Damn These Low Plant Numbers!!!

Well i been here a while now i guess its about time i get off my ass and contribute something :)

3800watts, 140gallons RDWC, about 18 plants- 2 per 20 gallon bucket. Using wire cages to keep plants trained, also slowly defoliating dense areas regularly, its a bitch to keep up with.

Thanks, i love growing without a medium! The strain is White Widow by the way, from Nirvanna, ok yield and very potent knock you on your ass smoke.

The plants are just now starting to show signs of flowering, 8 more weeks, ill keep this updated as we go, hoping for my best yield yet this round.

And you said my roots were nice. Looks like I could rappel with those roots. Nice work. I like the DWC tub, that about a 20 Gl? You have 6 of those in there with 1 control bucket making 7?

How long did you veg the DWC for? I have some WW coming up for my next run. Good luck with this one, I'm pulling up a chair.

battle, its x9 20-gallon tubs with a 40 gallon control res. 18 plants. i will take better pics on the next update.

i usually veg for 4-6 weeks which is no problem for me because i have a vegetative space, still tho i would prefer to run higher plant numbers and not have to veg, hence the title.

So you have 2 sites / 20 Gl tub? I am running 4 /27 and thought that it would be enough space. It isn't my plants are fighting each other for light. I have been doing some reasearch and really considering 5 Gl bio buckets. I'd actually like to veg longer for massive yields and less plants to look after. Less everything really.

Things are looking good here, can't wait to see the finished product.

battle, in my opinion growing large plants is actually more work and hassle than growing smaller ones, i just do this to stay under 40 or whatever, there is a cap in my state i forget the exact number for the step up in charges.

but yeah, 1lb per tub, with the right attention to detail. This will be my first grow in a few years that i will be there the whole way through. i used to live out of state and only visited the grow every 2 weeks, which reduced my total yield to 6lbs, i know i can achieve 9lbs though, done it before.

1 lb / tub is good. That is my goal this first run. If I can get 1lb out of my tub, I would be happy. I don't have anything to compare it to but I would think that less plants, less res, less issues would overall be easier.

Any new pics so far?

lol most meters can be read from the street with computers these days. tho i did have to tear down my whole grow a couple years ago for the gas people to do some maintenance on the meter. now that fuckin sucked
