I left there early this morning, didn't sleep well.
The old man wasn't there and had left a note "Gone to Doctor, lock the door!"

FYI Sam has a very nice collection of stamps like that.
Been checking the net and came across a few different types, not the one I got though.
Now that I got bit by the bug there is one I have seen on Google which I would really like (see picture below) but the only ones posted on the net ALL have the same address on them hence it is the same stamp all over the net.
I guess that means there might not be many of those around, if any.

like mentioned earlier, have it done with proper materials, someone that does conservation framing. Actually the stamp doesn't look very large, hard to tell in a pic, but I probably have scraps of everything that you would need.( I' ve been in the industry for 30 yrs.) PM me concerning that. I would be concerned about leaving it at a shop, as it would have been very tempting for sure...( I wouldn't have done it tho) Might even have a color copy made to put in the display frame..

awesome story man. being a younger guy in his 20s ive only ever had the opportunity to meet a few influential people who were around in the 50s-70s, and ive never known any on a close personal basis.
i love reading cool stuff like this, and ill be sure to check out that movie as well.

(maybe more the last section rather than the first few!)
I watched the movie today man.. Neat.
Made by same fellow he make Cocaine Cowboy documentary. Interesting style of movie making, independent, meaning good to me. I hate pretty much most mainstreams.
