you could take a chance and tell them your son, daughter, grandchild etc.. is sleeping and has a bad flu.. worked for me.. he didn't take long at all lol

make sure you clean the house up nicely.. and outside..
tell'em if it has a bathroom and the dimensions of the room if they ask..

the worst that would happen is they would say they need to reschedule appointment.

If you really plan to have a bank inspector at your house with a room full of Chem D that is taxing your scrubber man God bless you. You think you are paranoid now well just wait until he says something even semi-related to you growing pot in the back room he can't see or even just looks at you funny or you hear him sniff the air once you will not be able to get that out of your head. You either need to wait until it's all cut & room cleaned or wait until it's all cut & have the room cleaned. I really hope this works out for you the banks are a serious pain in the ass and the appraisers usually are pricks too. This is not a good situation to be in but remember your house & your rules so don't buy into that we got you locked in at this rate and you have to do this by so & so date because rates are low they are not going up and if they don't want to cooperate with your timeline then tell them to GFY and use another bank that is my advice. No people allowed in the house who have to look in rooms it's too damn risky and you will not have peace of mind which is priceless! :joint:

Grow Clean.... Go Fast!
Do NOT bring someone into your house. Period. If you are illegal, you are risking jail time to try to get a 5% instead of a 7%? You already said that you know that it stinks, and growers normally can't tell. Your shit will stink, there will be something somewhere, you will seem nervous, etc...

No question. Don't do it.

If you are deadset on doing it though, remove everything and spead some new paint. New paint covers any smell and makes everything smell new.

Good Luck...

yeah what kind of carbon scrubber do you have so we all know not to get it..

Ok, I got a chuckle out of this :D

But for those reading that don't get the joke, scrubber effeceincy is based on a LOT more than strain and a one-off run :)

Funny it's bacon though to help keep away the other kinds of pork :bigeye:

good point Resinryder...I guess the damage thing is legit. For me its the attic and its locked so when they go to pull on the door and see...I say oh the attic isn't finished and they just move on. Just went thru this last week...lol...great time to refi.
You could try to lock it and say....oh damn my spouse must have the key...If they say they have to see it, then say...should I take some digitals for you and email them to you? Might work....depends on the appraiser I guess. Good luck!

Had the same issues when tax assessors came lurking....apparently mandatory or whatever in my area. Even if it wasn't mandatory, these motherf*ckers came around like zombies looking for brains constantly up my ass....
Eventually I caved in and put everything into a U-Haul inside large plastic containers. Worked like a charm and the ahole tax slaves got their "walkthrough".

That's now my plan whenever some doosh wants in where they're not welcome. Plus I'm gonna make sure everything is always "modular" in nature so it can be easily broken down and moved as necessary.

Good luck, it sucks to have folks crawling up in your business.

So here's the deal about the business. We have a business, and the bank knows what it is because it is on our tax returns. Because of the nature of our business we don't allow people around our products. The bank gets it. If you knew what it was you would be like "ok got it". The bank has seen our website, and anything having to do with our business. We actually used our business inventory as an asset to get this loan. So they know what we do, and they also get why we don't want people around our inventory. Now the appraiser that is another story. I do not know if the bank passes on this info to them. If they do then they will know not to push it. Hell I won't let them push it. I already told the lady that they will not be getting into these rooms, and that these rooms have inventory in them that are "sensitive" in nature. She said OK, and that they will come out, and try to make it work. We are going to do a follow up call today, and we might be putting this off for a bit. Don't know yet. At least until the Chemdawg comes down. If the appraiser doesn't go into this area of the house then they really should not have a clue of what is going on. My ventilation is tied into the house ventilation so nothing obvious there. Except this one time when I called a heat and air guy that realized my heater was not running (which is why I called him) and that there was hot air coming out of the vents. After about 10 minutes of searching a light bulb went off in his head, and he said "well I have to go. Got more jobs today." I must say that in my area I know more people that grow then that don't grow. It is not your normal non-med place here. Some friends were in town this past weekend, and commented that when they were at a local bar they heard multiple people talking about when they are going to harvest their outdoor. Here if you don't grow then you know plenty of people that do. We will see what the phone call to the bank will get us today. we might not be refinancing right now. It's not worth going to jail over. Also they might not do it once they get here anyway because we won't let them through the entire house. After sleeping on it it seems that I am not really down to risk this right now. If she wouldn't have lied, and said that they can just measure the outside all would be different.

A side note.

Breaking down is not an option. I won't go into detail, but you probably get it.

You need to MAKE SURE the house doesn't smell at all !!!!!!! You might say "yeah I have a friend that works nights and he is asleep in there". peace out Headband707

So after just voicing my concerns with the bank here is what they came back with. Now the appraiser has to go into every single room. Take measurements, and pictures. Inspect the HVAC, hot water tank, etc... They have to be able to go into every single part of the house. How the story has changed since the beginning. So I said just cancel everything, and we will do it at a later date.

By the way the carbon filter that is letting the odor come through a little bit is an 8" x 24" Phat filter. It is only filtering a very small area with 1200watts. The chemdawg has killed every filter that I have tried. Really it stinks a bit with lights on. Once lights out you can't smell a thing. They are great filters, but I have yet to come across one that can control the odor of the my chemdawg. This is my 4th brand.

Ya until the government decides to value u based upon how many $10,000 plants you can fit and your house is appraised at like $3 million. God damn taxman.
