I will be attempting this for my local collectives as I shudder to think what the present clone industry is doing to med patients in respect to what I have been through. I think people try to do to much. Just keep it few, clean, and simple, and non-complacent. I flower, so it's not too much for me to take the toppings and root them out, shit it takes 5 -6 days. I am doing it for me anyway. Thats what "overgrow" is all about. right?
In my experience I just take a plant flush the hell out of it and take it off the prod line. Kik it in a corner with less intense light, scrape the root ball, and gently ease back on all "push". let it dry out a little and soon you will see healthy growth. Take a cutting, root it out, now you have your Do-over. You ever found any duds in nature?
Double underdawg does deserve mention for it's straight stankness, but the cutting I had never really displayed a cutting edge resin profile. Potent high though. Not a keeper in my book. I would give it another try if it was from seed.
I could have vouched for this back in april, also as the Qwerkle, purple Joy, Vortex, and grapefruit Haze I have been growing was from them. The tga lines were from seed. But I have been back there three time since and have not been able to pick things up due to the poor shape they have been in. Maybe it was my timing. Both times they had like 6 clones and 5 teens. They looked a like they had dried out then were over watered repeatedly. I will say that the cuttings I picked up from them in April were Dank and will post pics. perhaps you could pre order. I am not bashing this place, perhaps in light of the hectic legalities throught the summer they cut back.... Don't know. Just reporting on what I have seen with them recently. They do still have a huge mother room and they seem service oriented. If you want I can check them out tomorrow and report, they are like a mile down the road. Hope this helps rather than confuses.
I've dreamt of a floral greenhouse like used to be all over Encinitas decked out with supplemental light growing 35 - 70 massive mother plants. Each mother would have many airlayer-propigated clones growing from it. Collective members would come to the greenhouse, have their paperwork/member status confirmed and then be guided throough the greenhouse where they would be welcomed to cut clones off the mothers. This would be about supplying collective members with a very healthy teen-size clone that they could mother out quickly....not about supplying SOG growers with ready to go numbers. Reimbursment schemes would have to be determined by the collective board but you sure as hell aren't looking at $7 mass produced babies.
Ok...the idea is out there. anyone that wants to make it reality...
sounds like the sour dubb did its thing, the best thing i can tell you about it is not to keep a mother plant, take cuts off healthy veg plants before flowering, i still get a dudd now and then but nothing like i did a couple years ago. as far as resurecting one i wouldent want to.

ughh.... so i left the house for a few days to vacation with the fam only to come back to find my OD fucking ingulfed with spider mites. even sprayed em down with eagle 20 in veg. obviously didnt spray em enough. plants are pretty damn far into flowering. fucking covered in trichomes and nugs were fillin out pretty damn nice. havent dealt with these fuckers in years and forgot how god damn vicious they really are....

Liquid lady bug takes a time or two but can use up to day of harvest though I never would use past week 6. Anyway hope this helps someone, I know I have found these solutions the very hard way.
