One of the first memorable threads I recall reading was a post by Sam The Skunkman. I forget the exact phrase but was something to the effect of ; You'll noid out so bad after O. HazexSkunk1 that you'll have to request a cleanup on isle 4 because your head just exploded. Most of you will cancel your account and come back 2 weeks later under another username.
At the time. I recognized the name because a buddy had just gave me a pack of HazexSkunk1 seeds. Always being a Sativa guy since I discovered it. I always wanted to pull at least one plant, fully matured. A sublime series of heinous shit happened that prevented me from getting just one to maturity or even close. Nearly 3 years later. I finally pulled a dialed in and mature crop. I first sampled it about a week ago and it's taken that long to admit this but it's funny in hindsight.
I'm completely stressed out over the usual factors and a problematic outdoor thing going on. I think most growers know those factors well.
So I'm already paranoid as a meth-freak. I fire up the celebratory bong. A few days later I start thinking ''they're'' out to get me and they've likely already tapped my ISP and watching every page I look at...I ponder on that awhile. I've thought the same thing recently but not nearly as intense. I had old subs to old forums I'd not been to for ages and would rather forget. I beef up my software and clean a bunch of old files off my computer. I start thinking about ICMAG and as I'm reading a thread. The thought occurred to me I'd better delete my entire account but 10 minutes later. That quote came to mind and I laughed it off and decided against it...Before going back to the original thread I was reading. I deleted the only album I had for good measure...
A week or so later, I can laugh about the whole thing and am not quite as stressed. I feel that quote is right on target. Another few hits or stray thoughts and my account woulda been toast. I've not yet had to request a clean up in isle 4...But I was at a fast food joint speaker/window and had a complete and total mental meltdown whilst speaking to the operator and forgot the English language and words as a whole...I'm staying away from the grocery for the time being.
Just wanted to say to anyone out there who has thought about growing it...It's in my all time favorite 5 and amazing.
If any of you had any sort of idea of what I've gone through to pull off a mature plant. You'd understand why this was so funny and why I'm so happy.
Now, if I can get through the outdoor season intact...I might be able to relax.
