Okay I was busted in LA and they took my plants and bulbs and ballasts. I was running 120 lights in bloom and 20 lights in veg. I was caught transporting 130 babies in trays and they booked me and found my warehouse. They cracked my cell phone to either ping my email or used facebook to figure where i check into my computer. My attorney knows that charges are not being filed but the cost I had into buildout was at least 150k. This is buildout of materials not equipment cost......I have 90% of my equipment and I have taken it all down and it is in storage. I had all of my collective paperwork and it is still hurting.

To come back from this is daunting and would like to hear what others have done.....

That's a shame no one should have to go through that. It seems that most of the people I see getting busted have larger grows over 99 plants no matter how many people you have in your collective. You should talk to krunchbubble here is his thread

Totally sucks you got busted, did you have your paperwork on you when they pulled you over?

Let me get this straight, you were running a 140 light warehouse and are pissed off about your lost $150k in buildout costs, you still have all your equipment, and they aren't even filing charges.

I know its Cali in all, but I say you should be grateful, things could be much worse.

if you not getting charged you need to lay low or stay under federal laws. consider yourself lucky that puts most people away for a very very long time. years in jails is worth millions. -=P

Agreed with what others said. You should consider yourself lucky given the circumstance.

Be happy that federal and state charges haven't (yet) been filed. Lay super low for a while.

If you got state charges you'd be droppin another 20k+ on the lawyer, much more if it was federal.

Gotta stay under 99 man. And if your gonna risk going over 99, go WAY over 99. I don't get why I see so many people getting busted for 120.

Good that you had collective paperwork in order, this is probably why state isn't filing charges (though this doesn't stop DEA from stepping in if they wanted).

You said you've spent 150k in buildout materials. How is that possible? Do you own the warehouse?

Awesome that you have your equip still.

I'd say wait a minimum of a few months to make sure nobody files charges, and if everything is clear start up again in a new place.

When setting up your new place don't have any computers there, all mail go to a po box, have nothing connected to it and they won't find it.

All it takes is a tiny error. Krunch had an almost fool proof plan and ONE utility bill to his grow was found in his car and boom they found it.

Try to chill and be psyched your in LA. If it was any other state you'd be in federal jail right now.

It blows that you were busted but I think you are a little better off than you realize. Count your blessings. You got pinched with all that, no charges filed and you still have your equipment? You are a lucky man. I've heard of people getting more for a lot less.

Life is a rollercoaster. Looks like it's time to retreat, regroup and rebound.

Legal or not, EVERYONE needs to stay under 99 plants or you are risking alot more than you gain from a few extra. Just veg them a little longer, grow bigger plants. Glad you are okay man you are free to grow more and see the sunshine so life is good

Sorry man. Sounds like it could be infinitely worse than it is. When you backread these busts it so often starts with CARS. Weed and cars don't mix. Ever. You lose so much control after you get in a car. It is probably the weakest link in anyone's game. Someone else can do that shit. Not me. Good luck.

Not worth it for 30 extra plants.

oh yea i forgot in my state if charges arent filed apon initial arrest they have 1 yr 1 day to file said charges. i'll bet tis same same in cali weather you had paper work for 100 patients or not

120 Lights my friend. Lights. Not Plants. Probably many many plants per light I would assume. Thousands of plants if setup like that.

If he has 120 lights minimum he would run is 2 per light 240 so its probably a large grow. I would not do more then 4 per light(480) but thats just me. If he did have this size of a grow he is very lucky no charges where filed. I think Krunch had less then that and was charged.

You can grow less & bigger plants with vertical lighting because the yields are much higher since you are gaining more light coverage from each bulb and probably use half the lights required to light a standard flat style grow. Pull down big high yielding branchy trees instead of small flowered out clones that is what you should do if you are asking our advice. Less plants, much bigger plants, less lights, and vertical style grow. Check into those things they may serve you well and keep your ass out of jail because after all the law is the law right.

approximately 1200-1300 plants. I know two people with over a thousand plants with paperwork get zero charges as well. Well crafted documents by the best attorneys serve a purpose.

I know I am lucky but it sure does not feel like it... I did not steal power....
