keep the lung room but keep the fan pulling in both rooms 24/7? in reality making the inactive growroom a PART OF THE lung room while its in the dark?
Yeah. That's what he means, and I think it's a much better solution then having the dark room's vent close off when not lit.

Make it so.
Cookies.

Yeah. That's what I means.

'Lung Room' still exists and houses all of your environmental controls... but recirculate through both rooms fast all the time. On paper, it should keep everything in the sweet spot all the time.

Imaginary Friend is dead dick spot on as far as controlling the lung room`s environment so everything that`s pumped in and out of each grow area stay`s conditioned and re-conditioned after leaving twice per minute....

Never used CO2 supplements in almost 16 yrs inside , but where I grew had inherently high CO2 cocentrations from metro traffic , steel , and pipe plants that ran 24/7 spewin excess CO2 into my "smog city' atmosphere that kept my bitches happy with around 750 ppm`s constantly in the air being exchanged....

I`m around FC.....just not postin much lately.....as said before....Bobble`s the go to guy if I`m absent.....He knows shit with the scientific explanation of said applications.....

I`m not that educated but know what works from doin it all them yrs....

Peace.....DHF....:ying:.....

I'm kind of pissed my work is able to block these pictures, I know I shouldn't be thinking about building a vertical aero based system, having NEVER grown before... but it sounds so effective and cool :)

The easiest way *I* know to multi-quote would be something like this:

1. open a notepad for temporary use.
2. click "quote" on the first post you want to quote.
3. Copy and paste that segment (including the
tags) into notepad.
4. Cancel your reply, and click the next post you want to quote.
5. Repeat until you've got all the replies in your notepad file.
6. Copy contents of the notepad file into a new post, and then reply to your different quotes, using "preview" to make sure it all looks right.

If anybody knows an easier way, let's hear it.

[EDIT: easy way. click the 'multiquote' icon at the bottom right of the post. Looks like this:
multiquote_off.gif

Click that on all the messages you want to quote except the last message, and then just click the regular quote button on the last message. It will put quotes from all people in the edit box for you.]

Congrats on escrow. Or whatever. Look forward to the ground-up buildout. Do it slow and right. Get too much power over there. Maybe some water built in to keep it easy?

Good luck.

Happy for you.

Thanks for that!
I just had a private inspection done. The house cheked out just fine, but he said the main breaker box could use an upgrade as it was a 100 amp served by 220 volt panel.
Would i need to upgrade the main breaker box to be able to run enough power from the main breaker box to the garage to acomidate say 100 more amps?

The reason the quote of my post is screwed up is because I had the (quote) tags in it so it read my quote tag as an instruction. Otherwise, looks like you got it!

If you have them install a sub-panel, my understanding is that your subpanel will have the same load capability as the main line. Of course, I'm not an electrician, but I did spend some time searching "how to add a circuit breaker" recently and that very discussion came up during my search.

Maybe i can get away wth not upgrading the main panel and just run 100 amps (same as main panel) to the sub panel? Is 100 amps enough? I want to be able to expand if needed.

Thanks guys!!!

Standard voltage in the US is 120v. Watts = Amps * Volts.

So 100 amps * 120v = 12,000 watts
100 amps would give you about 9600 watts of 'safe' power. (This includes a 20% buffer for energy surges at power-up.)

If you're planning on expanding past nine 1000w bulbs, this probably won't be a viable option for you.

So if my main panel is 100 amp 220 volt, does that mean i wont be able to run 240 volt ballasts on the sub panel?

Sorry if i sound stupid but im not an electrician and when it comes to electricity i want to make sure i get it right. I will hire an electrician to do the work , but i need to know what to tell him what i want.

I need to power my 240v light controller,(with up to 4 240 or 120 receptacles) an 18000btu AC , pumps, dehumi, fans, etc. I would need a 240v dryer plug dedicated for the Light controller, a 15amp 230 for the AC, and probably 10 120 volt plugs.

Congrats on that harvest bro, I bet your chuffed to bits seeing your creation go through this cycle even with your teething problems.

That's a lot of amps...

100 dedicated.

Love it.

Go big.

gots to get the power! Need more power!!!!

Dude i totally appreciate your feedback man! I cant wait to get the new room started!
