nice spot, really surprised you dont have deer or rabbit problems. seems everytime i tried outdoors something ate them.

I do have critter issues, if not taken any precautions.
Some of the problems I deal with are

Cattle.....I have the grow fenced off with barbwire, 5ft high.

Gophers....Got one of those solar sonic vibrator, & gopher/mole repellent/killer

Have seen signs of deer/rabbit, but they seem to leave the plants alone, for tha most part.

Last year, I had a good size Black Bear, eat close to 20 lb's of Heavy Harvest, Nutrient. Maybe he got a good stomach ache, so he'll leave everything alone this year.
In the late spring I seen evidence of him, but not close to the grow.

Thanks for peeping my thread.
Peace

Well if the Outlaw Josey Wales blesses your grow then I have to also! Great job, btw I do a little prospecting also, I have a small backpacking sluice and pan and every time I go I say to myself, "Hey that would be an awesome place to grow" lol......I gotta get back up to Auburn and get some "color in my pan"....

Great job subbed!

Nice to have you stop by megayields,
Thanks...

Ya, I like to high bank/ run a sluice, during the winter months.
That's actually how I found this spot. I am always looking for other prime spots, but it gets harder every year, when 10-15 yrs ago, you could find locations that no body has ever been there, now anywhere you go there are signs of someone being there.

I love Auburn, I have panned the Feather & American Rive many years ago.
I used to have a claim, just out of Forest Hill. I know of 2-3 oz nuggets coming from a creek, out that way.

Hope you get out this Summer, and find some Gold.
Good Luck man....

SO amped to see your guerilla garden blow up!! I'm jealous of your wilderness excursions hahaha must be some peaceful times out there.

I found A spot in the mountains 30 minutes outside my town with a spring about 1/4 mile from it (downhill) It was really more of a trickle with a very small pool of water before it flowed down the hill. I was thinking about damning it up somehow but my areas pretty dry and I didn't think it would still be flowing later in the summer. I gotta hike back up there and check it out for future reference!

Sounds like you might have something to work with.
If there is still moisture, around tha spring, you can see about possibly digging down/around and see if there is water flowing underground. It's worth a try.

If there is water, you can line it with plastic and build a small reservoir.
Might be worth going to check the spring out now, since its the hottest time of tha year.
Keep It Green Bro...

Re: Sierra Nevada, Guerilla Grow 2011...

Man I wish I lived further up in the Sierra Nevadas, actually I'm not even positive where I live is considered Sierra Nevadas. I am doing a little outdoor backyard for 1st time. I love the growth and vigor of the girls. Wonderful spot you found. That would make a wonderful spot to have a second job ;-) Good luck, I'm here for the ride!
