What's your ventilation in and out?

Going vertical makes it a lot easier to hit 1g/w, but you have to have excellent ventilation

Ok fella, this is how i acheive more than 1g per watt with most strains..
1st your 600 watt will do an area 1.2m2, remember this when you buy your next tent..
you probably want a SCROG net or yield shelf or netting..
plant 14 to 16 plants in your space, veg till all approx 40 cms tall,
then cut them down to 20 cms tall, then 2 or 3 further days veg to let 'em recover and then flower..
let them grow into the net making sure you keep an even canopy and fill the screen..
next you need to get your plant dialled in and know what it wants nutrient wise..
Research here on IC mag m8
Use Molasses throughout flowering!!

i would suggest looking up heath robinsons grows and reading them all he gets well over 2gpw almost every grow using flip flop lighting and home made rdwc systems and nothing fancy no topping, pruning, training, etc etc.... i read one he yielded 76 oz's off of a single 6' plant with 900 watts of hps thats like 2.35 gpw and the dude is nice enough to give you drawn up schematics of how to build up his exact systems and wire up all the flip flop breakers lol what a guy.

he also states that all conditions have to be ideal according to blackmans law of limiting factors, basically if all of the conditions are perfect but your res temps are high than that will be your limiting factor and the yield will suffer significantly.

I reckon, when it comes to growing SOG'S

Veg time...is a waste of time

I can get over 1 kg with 1000W in about 6-7 weeks, dried

My strain "High Country Indica"

Clone only.

Well you reckoned correctly man, too bad most folks don't have the option/ don't want the risk of high plant #'s. If you only allowed 4 plants total veg time is certainly a very good use of time. The 100 plant level is the point at which the good old red white and blue sends you to prison with a mandatory minimum sentence. Can you guess how many plants I run in our warehouse? I'd love to see that highcountry indica if you've got some pics..

I'll be trying:
1. 3 gallon coco hempy buckets.
2. The addition of Shooting Powder to my nutrient system. I will either run Cutting Edge Solutions' organic line (Sonoma Gold) or Botanicare's CNS17 Grow/Ripe.
3. My Sensi Star pheno from clone.
4. Vertical 1000w Eye HPS lamp.
5. 12 plants in a 5x5x7 mylar tent with reasonable vegetation time after rooting (20 days maybe).

And of course all the basics. Good pH and EC dialed in, healthy watering schedules, environment in check, etc.

Training is basically out because by they time I could top these clones they are already alternating nodes. What I will do instead is put all my efforts into a massive and healthy rootzone. This might require the addition of some relatively expensive root supps (hygrozyme, G-Rex) but when I break it down even $200 in root supplements would only add $0.20 to my cost per gram on a Kilogram harvest.

If each plant can yield 3 ounces I'll hit the mark and everything will be good. Breaking through the 2 ounce/clone barrier has been a bitch. More veg time in a vert garden, bigger root zones, stronger stalks, and the Hulk-i-fication from the Shooting Powder are focal points for myself.

Then, when I hit 1gpw I can justify a CO2 system and save myself on the veg time, increasing my yearly harvest by a considerable margin for sure.

Ya, thanks that flood table sog you've posted looks good, Nice looking indica, you obviously love it good on ya man. I have 25 strains currently in our company and only 2 are real indica dom., most of our patients like the sativa crosses:blowbubbles:. I run soiless under 600w per plant 60 plants in bloom, 30-40 day veg depending on strain, scrogged over 18 gal containers. 1-2.5 lb per depending on strain, except of course the trainwrecks and hazes but yield just don't matter when it comes to such things..:cathug: Not posting pics of the warehouse on the net..company policy. measure you harvest wet or half dry!

true. i always get around 1/6 dry of what i get wet, but often enough we see people measuring 1/4 or more.. THAT IS NOT DRY

then of course it's about the right pheno. you have to use your light perfectly (even canopy, and not too much distance between the lamps and the plants). plants have to be relatively big, small thin plants dont produce big buds

and then it's simply about space - much much easier to do 1 gpw with a 600w on 2m² than a 600w on 1m². that's why i dont care about gpw so much, because noone can match my 700g/m² anyway :D
