why not convert to a bobble pod style grow but use 2 x 1000 and one 600, or 3 x 1000's would still be lower than what you are using now...

You know I want to BUT I hate to admit this but Bobblehead is much more handy with tools than I am (I am all thumbs), my Gro-Bro is much better than me but we looked at his pictures and were still not sure we could replicate it? I KNOW that is the way we should go but I am almost at 5 lbs every 7-8 weeks now, so (shrug) I am pretty happy and it's almost bullet proof now. I think the yield will go up once I mono-crop and I have the "precious" Ultimate Strawberry Diesel cooking right now in the veg tent , so could 6 lbs be possible??? I don't know but I am going to try.

If I was more handy and Gro-Bro wasn't working full-time as will I in two more weeks, it would be a no brainer, also the auto watering system Bobble has in his pods is very challenging to Gro-Bro and myself, we tried drip irrigation and it was a total fucking mess....hehe now we hand water all 200 (roughly) plant in the Veg tent, flower room and outdoor.

I have NOT given up the idea of going to Bobblepods (tradmarked) but I really need to make a lot of money, invite Bobble out to Cali for a week, put him up in the nice Hilton near me and feed him good California food and weed! Then maybe it would get done! Heh

look at it this way 64 plants 1.5 oz per plant in freds words "baby shit" and with 1800w you could run a 1000W in the middle and 2 x 600 at the top and bottom and you would be killing it... if you are running 3400 now 2200 will be easy to control perfectly...

and im sorry im not handy with tools BS ante cutting it over here mega... ok the drip system seems a little elaborate but the pods are just wood and screws... im sure bobble would tell you what to buy and where to cut it and screw it together...

just thinking of you buddy you asked about cutting your electric bill down and if your hitting 6lb with just over half the light thats got to be worth giving it a go? i hand....

Ok gang quick update, I have to say "everything" is just going wonderfully, NO PM! (thank you Bobblehead, LayLow, DHF and anyone else who helped), Buds galore and the most amazing smell's, my god, I just came up from their and when I walked into the kitchen my g/f was like foooweee you stink! All I said was, "honey THAT is the smell of money and good times!" lol She means well and since she is a Physical Therapist you would not believe how many of HER patients are now MY patients. I do really enjoy helping people and seeing them eat well, and get pain relief and they are SO greatful damn sometimes I want to just cry.

+1 on heavy air exchange ftw! Just make sure intake is not blowing directly on plants, keep RH% in check n all should be well, no bugs, no mold, healthy beautiful buds!

About exchanging air twice a minute, is there some easy to follow formula to figure out exactly how much you need? I suck at math, but my room is 150x150x200 cm / 5.9x5.9x6x5 feet and my exhaust is 470m3.

Yes. L x W x H = Cubic Footage of Room. Then you double that because you want to exhaust twice the volume per minute.

I suck at math, but my room is 150x150x200 cm / 5.9x5.9x6x5 feet and my exhaust is 470m3.

5.9 x 5.9 x 6.5 = 226.265 cubic feet.

226.265 x 2 = 452.53

So you need a fan that exhausts 450+ CFM (cubic feet per minute) to achieve 2 full exchanges per minute.

Also I have to go to Southern California for training for a week starting on the 15th or 16th so I might not be able to post as much, but I need the job to make more MONEY to buy more GROW stuff lol, I also am trying to start my buy list for the incredible and trademarked "Bobblepods"...Gro-Bro is GOING to help me, I put a lot of cash into his pocket and together we will figure out how to build the pods AND install the water lines possibly even BLumats (yesss)...but I need to come up with a cut list and hardware list and start pricing out everything so I can get an idea of what it is going to cost me.

Will keep you apprised.

For the air exchange... Ill try and explain it in a different way, as the fan u have, u mentioned the exchange in m3...

1.5 x 1.5 x 2m for the room dimensions, which gives 4.5 m3
x 2 to make it exchange the air twice in a minute, which gives us 9 m3/m
x 60 to convert minutes into hours, which gives us 540 m3/h which is required to exchange it twice in a minute.
Your room is exchanging the air 1.74 times in a minute m8... 470 / 60 / room size in m3 (4.5 m3)

Yeah I am starting my build list and already consulted Bobble on the right type of shut off valve, BUT I have a large problem I am probably going to be away for 3 weeks so the "BobblePod" build will have to be put on hold for a bit or until I can at least get my "cut list" and hardware list ready to go, Then maybe grow-bro can build it as it looks like HE might be unemployed again (Yeah come to Cali... you can work for 6 week then get laid off again ....woopee). Christ...

Anyway it is now going to be an issue of time vs staying with what is working pretty good and pulling "almost" 5 lbs every 5-8 weeks.....shrug so.....the thing that motivates me the most is I could cut my overhead cost's in half by just being able to use 2 - 1,000 watters vs the 3,200 watts I am running now, THAT would be huge.

HundredGramOz (HGO) is talking about doing a DIY thread with a Heath Robinson octogon that will pull 2.3 GPW he says....I am also kinda wanting to see what develop's their, SO many designs, SO many strains...grrrrrr
