I wouldn't really compare using a beeline to using a vaporizer because with a beeline you are not getting a clean source because it still releases soot and can affect flavor. The reason why you get more flavor than a lighter is because the lighter is much hotter and it's harder to control the flame which you can do easily with the beeline or a match so you end up burning those lower temperature oils because of the high heat and holding the flame too close to the herb. I seen someone do a test and showed how a regular cigarette lighter and beeline produced soot while a blue flame produced nothing. I think it's a good alternative to matches if that's not your sort of thing but not good to compare it to vaporizers. Plus you can't control the temperature to get a nice clean pure hit like you can with a good vaporizer which brings me to my next point which I stated earlier about not having a vaporizer that is good at controlling temperature and can cause a cherry in the bowl.
Tokin daily has a video out that I just saw that shows this very fact using a ssv which a lot of people love and I'm not disagreeing with them but it and a lot of vaporizers aren't good at preventing cherry in the bowl if you go high in temps and breath too fast or in some cases too slow. I think what may have contributed to it also was the fact that he didn't really break up his bud because if he has bud with a lot of essential oils which he probably does being in Colorado, some of those oils stayed trapped in the bud and as he inhaled fast they stayed inside the plant fibers getting too hot and combusting and in turn heated up the fibers which led to a cherry happening which is another reason why breaking up bud before putting into the bowl is good. If you are worried about losing trichomes just use a brush to scrape the grinder.

3-5 times in a day and yes it goes up within the day but I exercise in the morning and sit an the sauna plus juice vegetables as well as juice the night before so it resets.

My friend's got one that I've used quite a bit. I think it's a great portable vaporizer, but it would make a poor everyday vaporizer. As you noted it's got no temperature control, and it's impossible to get a really heavy vapor out of. Also, it can only be powered by rechargable batteries, which it comes with two of, and it depletes one battery after 6-8 hits, but each takes 6-8 hours to charge with the included charger.
yikes 6-8 hours... hmm i think there are third party quick-charge battery setups

yeah due to volume of the device, can't get a bigass hit...
but seems perfect for quick hoots in the backyard..

the batteries that come with the MFLB kind of suck a lot. if you buy a 4 pack of powerex 2700s or other good batts then it will work a lot better, or you can order the power adapter.
I honestly haven't used my MFLB for a while, but I still like it. I mainly used it while snowboarding. it is a pain to always have to think ahead and get a fresh charge on your batts. and it doesn't come close to replacing my EQ for home use
I best way I found to get a nice thick tasty hit was to vape a mix of ground up bubble hash or kif and weed, with a fresh battery. gives it enough punch to make it worthwhile
