Labtec's Vertical Madness

This is looking very nice. For comparisons with my own set up do you know the actual temps of the intake air? You mention its cool from the garage.

Thanks DB, appreciate it.

Good call yourcorpse. Is there personal info on the pics? Thanks for watching out. I'll have to figure something else out.

danks esteboatan. I'll put the temp sensor by the intake air and post what i get. I'm guessing around 65. We'll see.

there was a thread here a year or so ago where this guy had a separate grow from where he lived, took pics of it on his iphone. i dont believe he put a password on it as well, but he still made another mistake.... left it at the post office! oops, yea leo shows up at his grow apt with phone in hand "this yours?"

now not saying you would do any of that, but thats just how shit goes.

Dank you megayields.

Your totally right yourcorpse, no messing around. Sucks for that guy.

Hey esteboatan, I checked the temp at my intake, and it was 70F. Then I moved the sensor up to top shelf in my chamber. After the sensor got dialed in, it was 82F. This was the hottest part of the day though, so at night, I'm sure it runs at about 65F,77ishF.

Danky Labtec, your temps are about the same as mine for intake. I'm in a 5x5 with two 600's but presently have them in a cooltube and have been contemplating going barebulb but was concerned with temps. Whats your air-out fan size and speed?

It's a 6" Elicent fan, with the speed controller pretty close to maxed out. It's actually pretty hot in there right now.76Fin,86F at the plants. HOT DAMN

labtec, are you hand-watering those plants? If you set up a drip system, with mini inline shut-off valves, you can keep those plants fed and have more time to watch reality tv like me! :D

Sounds awesome stagger, can't wait to check it out.

Yeah I hand water them now Bobble. Good call on the irrigation. I do have drippers that I'm probably going to use. I wonder if my thick Roots Trinity will clog my drippers? I might have to do a setup like what you're explaining. I better get medicated and think this through some more, hehe.

Hey Donk, I've got a different sensor than that. You can see it in the background in this pic.

It works alright. When I put the sensor next to the temp/humidity display, the temps are always the same. I wonder if the lamp heats the sensor up and alters the readings?

I like the drip setup as well. Are those actual drip emitters, or splitters? That plant you got chilling there is huge, hell yeah.

nice thats the same one I got. its gives excellent readings. the laser them is also good to have. the probe you have will tell you air temps. the laser can give leaf temps. if the leaf temps are higher then are temp in means your girls are not transpiring well and the stoma are closed. read VPD articles.

here another pic of super easy top feed

so 3/4pvc mainline. I tee where needed to 1/2 poly. then used a tee to make a circle. stabbed some holes with punch and shoved the 1/4 tees in it.

cheap and custom for my liking ftw

water flows quick so I use a digital recycle timer to dial in watering times.

Awesome irrigation idea Donk. I think I'll have to use some of your ideas when I make an irrigation system. Good call on the temp gun too, I've been meaning to get one of those as well.

Well here are a few pics of my setup. These first ones are just random shots:

This is a Super Lemon Haze in a 7 gallon pot. I just transplanted a week ago. I think I'm going to take clones tonight, then flip in a few days, as most of those strains on the bottom shelf(super lemon hazes) are going to explode in flower.

Oh, I forgot. I recently got some C99 GN F2s, and I'm going to pop them soon. I'm also going to pop the freebies I got with the C99s, which are Sam the Skunkman Mixed Seeds X Haze/Skunk #1. Ah yeah

Danks Opus and yourcorpse.

One other thing: My original plan was to use a cage around the lamps to control growth towards the bulbs, but since my landlady is coming any day now, I decided to just use stakes so that I can easily take them out and put them back in. We'll see, maybe she comes soon so that I can put a cage in there still.
