Flog this heat! Workin' outside all day to come home and trim in a hot, unventilated 2nd floor rm. Can only do a couple of plants @ a time, and they're small clone seed mom's, pretty quick going.
The tent was in the mid 80's when I got home today, A/C set @ 76.
Moved it to 72, but will now be in jeopardy of trippin' the ballast.
Be done saturday, whew!
Still I dream of popping the next rd. of beans. Tryin' to wait til mid aug.

Jeesh nor, ya makin' me hotter talkin' 'bout pot roast. On the grill w/ indirect heat maybe, but not in my kitchen!
That purp bud sounds like hammock weed!

Melty, Karma used the White cut for that? Looks sparkly, like the fireworks the other night.

Man, I love SSH and that one looks like a beauty.I don't ever think I've seen a bad one...Spent the whole day yesterday reconfiguring my cooling systems.I tried putting my bare bulb 1000 into a cooltube with a 6" turbo blower but it actually brought my room temp up 5 degrees so I had to tear the whole thing down again, I guess you can't escape the radiant heat no mattter what you do.The plants are just enveloping that vert area...My buddy lent me a big ass hole saw with a 6" blade, I have to ignore my sheetrock o phobia and just drill, my door is so ghetto with a 6" tube running into the room with the door half shut and piles of blankets for light tightness....Hope everybody's summer grows are making it and for everybody outside, you're loving it, the CC's we put outside are monsters.My buddy doubted me because they were small when we put them out but now he's flipping in his wheelchair/cart unit saying "look at these stalks!!You're sure they're female right? Holy shit!!" Uh oh, 4:20 lights on!! The last customer just left the nieghbors, that means work time...

Chaco, I know what that thing is, same kid who introduced me to overgrow years back had a bunch of them growing on the side of his college town house, no one, even the cops had any clue what they were. Same kid showed me how to grow mushrooms as well, that was a total money maker for me freshman year...

HL, your seed collection must have its own room in the house every time your posting up pictures you making another cross, I love it!

Got the tent close to harvest at about day 64 I figure one more day of light then lights out for the weekend and start trimming up my last harvest of the summer. I can't stand playing around in the summer and even tho I'm in a basement humidity is another battle, also summertime I never give the room my full attention too many distractions, I also need to make a new grow room that is designed for my vert needs. I give a lot of respect to all the growers in the thread that put up with summertime indoor growing. So I am pretty excited about this room greasy buds lying around everywhere yields look to be nice as well, I will be even more excited when I start to build a new room. I am using the tents for veg and clones only and gonna splurge on some Sheetrock for the flower rooms. I've also ponder with the idea of buying a few solar panels to see if I can add another light or two off the grid... sorry this 84 day ecsd thats been curing for a while gets my brain going, I feel like I am back in one of my old college writing classes typing away ideas for a paper that needed to be 40+ pages.

Hey Otto, how wide is that tent and how close do you let the flowers come to the lamps?

Chaco, the tent is 4'8'' wide and the closest plants are 5'' away from lamps. The buds seems to handle it ok but fan leaves yellow and burn but when you got the tent that full you learn to live with it. I'd love to keep them 8-9'' minimum away from the lamps but I got make due with what I got. I've been thinking about that a lot because when I start the new room I think that if I had 6'' more on each side that things would be just right.....

My tent is 48" x 48" and it'll be tight w/ the vert run, but I gotta try!
Cool tube fer sure, but am still weighing out whether to run both 600's vert, or one horizontal...

I have the summer of the un-rented apartment (landlord's biggest headache other than unpaid rent ha ha) and am working full time for the man and trying to keep this 4 decade old frame from uncoiling and this house from foreclosing! I know the answer! Bigger and more bulbs! Maybe next month...

Anyways here's whats coming down mon/tues which will be 9 weeks or so, dinafem cheese from a clone of a fem seed I popped last year, moe. cd for scale (edit: keep in mind this is a 400 CMH) :

here's a blueberry from some seeds my caregiver gave me and are suppoosedly blueberry. Look how leafy at 5 weeks. Will the swell save me from this trim job or am I doomed this run and will just have to keep poppin beans? I also have two more of these vegging to go in when the cheese comes out so next run doomed to leafy hell as well?

I should just wait to see how the ?BB finishes before I stress, going to smoke some yumbolt (Smile?) and think about it.

I guess I could go to a patient meeting and score some cuts but I am all set with mite infested hermie prone genetics lol.

Very nice Headseed, that's a nice tight plant for 400W...I've 3, 5gram chunks of chem D bubble hash, very nice to fill the pipe with, on top of some bud or in a joint, it's a sure choker...I smoked a bunch before I went to sleep last night, had a dream somebody was piling rocks on me...

the name of this one is nl/blue Im guessing thats northern lights x blueberry dont know much else about her other than that.
shes at 24 days not much stretch,heavy feeder but I need to back down a little cause shes got a minor case of the claw....check out how pointy the leaves are .very cool

Stumpy what are your temps?? That serration that is pronounced and slightly pointed up is from heat stress. That's how plants get rid of excess heat. The claw looks like a bit over watered. can be from to much N,Over watered ,PH issues, Heat. Hope she rights herself for ya.

good eye hh . the temps got hot for a few days so I put in the a/c ...but the leaves are naturally more defined on this plant and have been since early veg.......Also right on the money with the N...that is the reason for the minor claw......ph is fine and they are not over watered.....temps are now fine and I have every confidence she will turn out just fine.
