The water cure certainly seems like a good idea, and I had actually thought about something like that before anyone mentioned it. The reason I never considered it , though, is that I though it was rob the bud of it's resin/thc like would happen in a bubble bag.

I think I see what you mean. Once it re-dries, the weight will be less so the THC ratio per gram is more?

I am curious, though. Has anyone ever actually tried this with schwag before...or has this only been done with fresh harvested nugs?
Edit: I guess they have, I missed a post above. Perhaps I will fill up a bowl of water and give it a shot. Shouldn't take much since I only have about a quarter left

that definately looks like mexican, you can tell because its pancaked compressed..the smell of rubber or tires is probably because it was smuggled over the border in a gas tank..also only weed that sells that cheap is mexican most domestic no matter how bad is still 150-200 an oz usually..also i was just in arizona your pic is 100 percent dead on to the shit we saw down there, same color and look..
start a micro grow...check out my IKEA stealth closet thread, you can grow a QP every 2-3 months easily and covertly...
also you can have one of your buddies in cali send you an OZ in the mail or something....have them write the name differently on the box and you can claim plausible deniability if it gets seized...sounds crazy but not hard at all just use vac sealer and usps priority..

I am sorry to hear of your dilemma. I'm in the same boat as you. Fortunately I'm about to move to Colorado this week. Its been two years in the planning, following my bust. I made the mistake of going to the local hydro store , LEO sits outside and photographs everyone and trace your electricity usage. Big novice mistake on my part, but I needed something to keep my girls (four lowryders for my first grow) alive. I had to spend over $6k and 50 hours of community service.
Right after my bust we made the choice to get the hell out of Dodge. I wont live in a state that considers me a criminal and not a patient!
If you are not able to make the move yet ,then my 2 cents are to water cure and dehydrate. Give that a try its less expensive than paying lawyers and court cost.

I probably wouldn't be too scared to do a microgrow in Florida, I've heard almost everyone gets away without jail time for small grows. I'm glad you made out okay.

Yes - Schwag is improved. This was one of my experiments and it worked quite well 
Food dehydrators are good but not necessary. What I did was sandwich my buds between 2 coffee filters, poke a few (SMALL) holes in the filters, and tape it to a fan.
Dry and crispy as a bone in a matter of hours. (No heat needed)

fuck that grow your own . keep mouth shut. simple. buying it is way more risky . in florida they will take your car for buying a dimebag. so if you must ride your bike LOL

I wish we could get all outlaw med users to the (relative) safety of a med state. Sigh.
I certainly empathize with your situation, Maybe4Sure.
It sounds as if you are pretty much settled on not growing, but if I was in your shoes, these are the factors I would consider when mulling over whether or not to grow in a non-med state: Do you rent or live in an apartment? Do you live in a urban or rural area? Is your house "high traffic"?/Do you have a lot of people coming and going? And how well do you handle stress, does stress affect your illness? Again, tell no one, don't go to the local hydro shop, (if you do, don't take a car that can be traced back to you), and always take the long way home, running several more errands on your way back.
But, it's you who needs to feel completely comfortable with your situation or it will only lead to more anxiety and worry, potentially negating the positives you gained from the grow.
I lived in VA, (or VA area), until 2008 and I faced the same problems finding medicine and apprehension about growing. I made several attempts to begin to grow my own out of sheer frustration with not being able to get any decent medicine; but few came to fruition b/c the stress and anxiety made me worse, so much so that I'd end up either killing or giving away the plants...(with good reason, I had a couple 'knock and talks' and 'fishing expeditions' take place, in the last few yrs. I was out there.) I made a lot of hash back in those days from the shitty beasters that plague that part of the country. I found there was little medical utility in beasters, aside from alleviating nausea and occasionally inducing hunger.
I was fortunate enough to meet a med state resident, (who I met here, at IC), who thankfully had me "imported" out to CO and brought to safety! (Thank you, Mesa!!) Ridding myself of the constant anxiety, which resulted from the fear of being caught with my medicine or growing, and the worry over where and how I'd obtain more, made a huge difference in my health.
I wanted to mention, in regards to Marinol, were you aware that it needs to be refrigerated?...I didn't know when I got my first Rx and noticed it made a difference in the efficacy when I did...that is, if I was able to hold them down long enough to absorb and take effect. I just wanted to throw that out there, JIC you didn't know. But, a'las, Marinol can not compare to the real thing, as we all know.
