Ah, just a story. May have been the Incas. Apparently they turned loose their naked, virgin females to run throughout hemp fields to gather extract. Others would scrape this extract from their skin.
Sounds practical to me, not to mention fun. The virgin part is possibly embellished.
soap and water ...then vegetable oil or butter, then soap and water...I HATE sticky hands...the oil gets it all off.

heres a small list of reasons why
1. ill get fired if i stink up my work
2. random dumb ass stereotypical stoners will come up to me all buddy buddy like and ask wheres the herb.
3. can't pick your noise with a sticky finger. (my right nostril almost got stuck closed once hahaha)
4. Can't use my evo touch screen phone at ALL with sticky fingers..
5. you can NOT roll a zag or blunt with sticky hands. & I am a rolling master in my circle of friends
6. can't take a shit or blow your nose cause the toilet paper will stick to your hand and ruin the finger hash!

That's the stuff. At a pinch sunflower or even vegetable oil work, but they're not as kind to my eczema...
smear with cooking oil (mays, sunflower, olive, ...), wash with soap, repeat as neccessery

i always wondered about those medicinal THC ointments that you apply to your skin, since I never get high from working in the growroom and that seems like the most direct THC-to-skin contact possible

I shouldn't say this 'cause I have no way to back it up..but...well here goes......VAGINA JUICE works.
Start with a few drops of Olive Oil work it into the skin to help dilute the resin, then mix Machine Washing Powder and Dish Washing Liquid together, wash in warm water

thanks a lot doc...just tried the oilive oil in place of rubbing alcohol and the olive oil works great along with the orange pumice cleaner..... i would MUCH rather use olive oil then rubbing alcohol!

Hand cleaners with orange terpines and pumice works.
"Dawn" dish washing liquid works very well and is a long kept secret for cleaning grease from mechanics hands and clothes. Works on cannabis oils too.
Everclear (grain alcohol) that I use for both cleaning the bong and rinsing resin works very well, especially with some table salt added for grit.

Whats wrong! I usually have to pee during those defoliation/harvest trimming. THAT becomes a delema, HAHA. Olive oil, huh? I will also spend time chewing and licking it off my fingers.

I use mineral turps then soap, no probs.
verdantgreen says, WD40 is bad. I'll bet acetone is worse, HAHA! I use it often but not for that.
if you coat your hands with moisturizer or hemp/olive oil before you get started and repeat as needed you will find cleanup is very easy without using any harsh chemicals just my 2 cents
