PK, I think you're on the right track with the CS. Super simple to make, and I see you've already got what it takes, so nothin to buy for ya. Just make sure that only silver touches the water when you're making a batch.

Inquest- Thanks I am hoping the CS works like it supposed to, I follwed the book and let it process for over 48 hours so PPM should be suffcient, especially by looking at the water. I did make sure only the silver touched the water. It is starting to get intensive, figuring out how to time everything to be productive is going to be fun but once I get it down I will be fine.

Thanks everyone for stopping in, shit will be happening here in this thread for a long time. Tonight I just pollenated Katsu Bubba Kush with two different sour bubble pollens, just the first two days worth, a pretty small amount. Shes lambasting now and I will go spray her with water after I finish this doobie of sour bubble.

The sour bubble pollen looks like it took last night on the Katsu Bubba. The two nugs I pollenated were browning their hairs out nicely this afternoon.

In a few weeks some of this pollen will be going to my RDWC room to hit up some Purple Urkles as well.

I always intend on learning things the hard way....hopefully i didn't just do that lol

I was gathering pollen and after getting all the pollen on to the collection paper I folded it outside of the tent and negative pressure and make a couple "POOFS" of pollen come out the paper......I had all fans off in the vacinity, and the one that was closest and on is my ecsd room a few days before the chop so no sweat.

Can pollen go through a carbon filter? I am guessing yes but only a chance, I will be cleaning the room soon anyways. Only room I am worried about is katsu bubba which is at the other end of basment with a dirty ass intake carbon filter which may work to my advantage.

I sprayed the contaminated area down with water hoping for the best lol, I will stay out of the bubba room for a few days so the door way doesn't suck anything or so it won't travel on my flip flops or soemthing, luckily I just watered I will OCD spray down the area now few more times on my next visits to the garden.

To solve the problem, I need my vial thingy's coming form ebay, that wya I don't have to transport to seperate the pollen and can be scooped directly into a vial.

Oh and when in your office seperating pollen turn off the ceiling fan.

Noob ass has learn some way....All that fuckin reading, cannot prevent learning form simple mistakes. Experience far out weighs book knowledge.

Can you jerry-rig some hepa filters onto your intake? They're designed for pollen.

My breeding chamber is all hepa filtered, my rooms are all carbon filtered intake....Maybe I will switch soon, I just think the hepa filters for 6" fans will clog fast. I should be able to assess the damage, I don't need to go in the room for 3 days at least, and after that I will limit my visits. Hoping after a few days passes any pollen that escaped has settled somewhere harmless and begins to decay. I am a pretty optimistic person so I am hoping all will be well.

and seriously I would need some list from a couple people to remeber more. I have some sick friends, they have problems with holding moms.

It is to my understanding from reading everything I could find on sour dubble that BOG used a nycd male from rez, possibly the same one he used on LSD but that is speculation. I have read and re read my findings, and this is my conclusion. I consisdered this heavyily before deciding to follow through with this. I wouldn't mind working the sb x sd for a few years to get it right. The progeny test and f2s of the chosen male will hopefully prove themselves to be worthy.

The SSK x SD I assume is going to be killer myself, maybe a strawberry diesel type plant? I have been told my strawberry cut reeks worse then the orginal kyle kushmans strawberry cough plant, so maybe this lady will offer up some premo flavor to the SD. Thanks for stopping in and the well wishes.

Well it is to my understanding as quoted and stated earlier in the thread that BOG used Rez's NYCD male pollen to make the sour dub, not the ecsd clone herself. So this should, if that is true, be nothing like the sour dub, but even if it is it is a line I want to WORK. As quoted earlier as well the sour dub clone was found from just a couple seeds, so imagine the possibilitys of what selection and putting in the time and work would bring.

I am sure my goals will change overtime, yield and faster veg is important to me. Overall what I think I am looking to do is make a nice STOUT (ecsd is so floppy), slightly faster flowering diesel tasting indica appearing plant. Like a diesel indica would be sweet, but hey at this point it is dreaming. If I could somehow get that ecsd taste onto a sour b nug structure with an in between main structure (branching) with 10 or less weeks flowering I would be a happy dude.

As I go through progeny test and work this out a couple generations I should begin to see if what I have in mind is achieveable. If I think it is, I have no problem working this for a few years if it needs it. Only the begining for me, I am sure overtime projects and goals will change especially as I gain experience and hit bumps in the road.

In the meantime, finding a sour bubble stud that I cannot live without is my main goal, and making lots of crosses along the way to see what comes of them and maybe they can help point me in other directions as far as effort.

Once I select a male and begin working a couple projects, the next big question will be what seeds to pop looking for my next stud....

As you can see I am in indica head, I have most the above seeds in quantities of 3 packs and will run f2's of them all to preserve the genetic line in my possesion for future use. Most of all they will be used to find studs.

its possible but i have never smoked a nycd that had flavor any where comparable to the sour diesel or ecsd or sour dubb, some say the ecsd and nycd are the same but not in my book. i know soma's nycd diesel dident have a hint of diesel to me, also later in that thread of bogs he came back and said he wasent sure he even did that sour dubb cross, one thing is you know it was sour bubble, the plant has that sour bubble resin and alot of the smell with a air plane glue or fuel smell. i have been running some of joe bean 1 seeds of sour diesel x sour bubble and out of 5 female so far havent found 1 that has the stink of the sour dubb. i did make a few fem beans of sour dubb x a chem d (origanal cut) that threw out a few nanners, there in early flower now,

josey whales-The sour dub cut to me smells just like my sour bubble when I am first pulling it down and sticking my nose into every single bud before trimming it. It smells exactly like it. For sure the sour bubble lime is shining through. Would love to see the plants you grew out of the cross

The f1 generation is only going to help me see what traits each sour bubble male is passing on, I will look alot further then f1 for something stellar to backcross and stabilize into seed form. I plan to run 30 f1 plants to create my f2's to start looking through for as long as it takes.

Some have called sour lsd, "sour dubble" but I dunno about that name. What do you think?



Some said I never should have called it LSD because that hurt the cannabis movement I guess tying pot to drugs or something. I think that already happened actually but I understand some discomfort for those who dont like hallucinogens but I do.



LSD just came from the initials of the two strains in it which were? NYCD from Soma seeds and my Lifesaver which is? lol...



I have a hard time remembering all the processes I went through with each strain but LSD is certainly worthy and she shall return under some name or another. I'll let you decide. BOG

So, sour dubble is not sour d x sour b! makes me very happy, I am going to do this one right!
