funny...i know quite a few hydro "masters", who have never used H202, ever during the growth/bloom cycle...? isnt 02 good enough ? hell, run an ozone genny & u got all the bases covered ;)

have any pics? there are many schools of thought in growing, like any industry. next time you can, google h202 and its benefits for plants.
if people in soil or hydro dont like clean media, faster lusher growth, tougher sturdier plants that uptake nutes faster, then they must have "mastered" their own methods. like airstones or extreme water cycling to create d.o. in their hydrocultures.

plus h202 is great for cleaning rooms, tools, system lines and is a awesome pesticide, plus it increases seed germination rates/growth

sorry no pics, but do agree with you, its pretty awesome stuff overall, very versitile. yes, i do believe extreme water cycling was their ticket. also, h202 isnt compatable with some types of water soluable ferts...

Well I don't know wtf is up with the peroxide I just bought but I added 100ml to my 15gals of solution; 29% peroxide;I think hyox is 34% or something eh? it fried the shit out of my plants; litterally watched em fall over!! WTF ...I did an immediate dilution and then drained and refilled and they are still alive and most have stood back up but tips are curled and black. I don't get it was it 1.6ml per gallon?? that seems like too little but the bottle I bought says 3ml per gallon so ??...regardless I just fucked up my plants good and the roots had just hit the table and are looking so good..live and learn...Shit hope they pull out of it and survive...Im drinking a few beers tonight...HM

100 ml in 15 gallons is more like 6 ml per gallon not 3 you should have added 45 ml...

Yes but you notice the quote in my post? DMT recommends 1.6ml/l so at 4l/gal thats about 6.4ml/gal. And he is using hyox at 35% peroxide I'm using 29% peroxide. So thats what I added...and it smoked em...but probably due to poor stirring as the pump was off and I added the stuff then turned on the pump to stir it....I'm going to scale it back a bit on the next additions, :ying:

im using 29% as thats all that being released in canada now,new regulations with making bombs, when i did the math it worked out to 2.0ml gal using 29 percentandi have had great results using at this strength.......

ya, you got it, the flow to each table is contolled by the flow valve, and the bigger they get the more the flow. the pump runs 24/7. im not a benny guy. h202 is 1/16 to 1/24 the price of bennies and does way more around the grow room, root zone, foliar then high priced additives. these roots are 7 days apart, and almost quadrupled in mass by adding hyox every 2-3 days at 1.6 ml/L, they all recieve relatively the same flow, the pump is spaced evenly enough and is powerful enough, d

This post is why I added so much, guess the 2ml/gallon will be what I use from now on. 1.6ml/ L is just a bit hot, my rez is nice and sterile tho...Hey Med Man, what do you use? Thanks,
HM

highonmt, your plants were way too young to be adding that much h2o2....shoulder be needing to add h2o2 until a ways into the grow cycle. h2o2 is used to kill any harmful pathogens..

Vancouver SCORES!!! What a f-ing game! lKush I'm trying to use the med man method man, cause he kills it, his advice on the blog was 1.6ml per liter. I'll wait for his advice. Thanks tho, Oh and Med Man I'm switching up to the AN nutes this week.

whats the dilution rate when used as a pesticide ?

30ml/l 35 % h202 plus 20ml/l isopropyl alcohol. great for killing and controling any parasite in the space.

10ml/l h202 to cycle thru hydro cultures in between crops. )

Nice thanks for this info. Well my plants look like well probably the worse I've ever grown. I just picked up AN three part nutes, I'm going to mix em up right now...what should I do to try and get these plants going agian? I have AN 3part, B52, super thrive, 29% peroxide. Any advice is appreciated man I really don't want to lose these plants. HM

dont overdo the nutes till they start growing again. superthrive is a good start too, mm

I just mixed up a fresh 10gals of nutes in the rez. 1:1:1 GMB at 1.5 ec. 750 pm Added 5ml of super thrive. 10ml of peroxide. That sound reasonable? Should I add b52 yet? I've never used AN nutrients or this system so do you have a recipe that you would be willing to share? A pm would be fine. Thanks for your generosity in sharing your methods med man, hope I can revive these plants; right now they look pretty sickly.

b52 is 1.25 ml/litre every drop of water from clone/seed to harvest(minus flush of course),

so, this week there happened to be a freon leak in the ac. i thought we fixed it and we didnt. so in 7 days they got about 2.5 days of light cycle, and some pretty bad heat stress because the heat kills go off at 90, and the dehu stays on constant. so even in the dark it was like 95 steady. res temps went up, algae bloomed, lines clogged, and lost the other bubble haze. cant wait till this one is behind me. not onluy did i make some errors on the actual system build, but due to size of plants it sucks working in there now when things go wrong. i have all the new lumber cut and prepared. my next run will be 4 ttoughs 2 feet wide 16 feet long (16 inches is way too narrow for big trees and their roots). and 24 600 bc ballasts and 16 plants total.

the nugs look do awesome and are packing it on the plants that have been coping, but im looking at about 1/4 to 1/8 the projected results under optimal conditions. 500 bucks in freon later and a copper spaghetti leak fused, lets hope she stays together for 2 to 3 more weeks,

dude, if your talking about the plants you showed pictures of on 6-7-11..those plants are seedlings bro. they should hardly need any nutes at all...no matter what hydro system you use.
