ok some pics. first i have a few of my glassware before and after cleaning.. just using cheap ol' epsom salts and rubbing alcohol from walgreens. heat the alcohol up in a pyrex dish in the microwave for a min and half or so, stuff works amazingly. then the girls... we are at week 6-7ish so things starting to pick up. made an adjustment to the temps.. was reading down in the lower fifties cuz of the air conditioner so much it's been so hot lately lol so got that taken care of and back up to upper sixties. still should see plenty of colors. veg room and clones are kicking ass. i owe a big apology to the makers of Clonex. as soon as i went back to that from the root tech i had 100% success rate with my vipers, which i was really having difficulty rooting.. asked the guy at the store and he said clonex has B1, others don't. huh. settles that shit. i'm all about results, so its back to buying clonex lol
final pics are about 12 hours after watering. room looks crazy right now peace

you see two here, but it works best to just put one of your bowls in a tupperware container like this.. shake it around with the alcohol/salts in there and wallah clean as new, no messing around

alright imabout to hit the sack, but wanted to mention a few items. i rearranged the veg room and took some more viper and cherry clones. my plan is to upgrade my 250 hps in veg to a 400 mh. just a cheapie little setup with a cool tube or something around 200 bones, but it should help veggies like crazy. also going back to the 3 gal or maybe even 5 gal containers cuz the 2 gal means too many f'ing plants and they are smaller anyway lol i think i said before that 3 is the perfect size for me, guess i had to relearn that lesson. well hopefully with the new veg light i'll be able to fill out 5 gal easily and pull some fucking weight. so tired of money bullshit. was in the clear then had around a grand of car repairs to pay off and bam right back at it so f that, i'm steppin it up. i sure the hell aren't growing weed and risking all that so i can still feel like i'm broke all the time. first the veg light, then maybe another 1000hps in bloom.. or at least for now just putting up the 250 and expanding the room a little to accomodate more plants. we'll see how she plays out but i'm excited for a little more action.

what else, oh shit yeah i saw quite a few bananas on the cherry haze. must have been the cold temps.. way too f'ing cold for way too long. i checked for light leaks tonight and everything is pitch black, kosher as can be. had to be the temps, unless this strain is overly sensitive to the new nute regimen (you guys ever heard of that?). (?) one thing i've noticed in using the maxibloom as opposed to guano/organics.. stuff doesn't develop near as fast. i'm just short of 7 weeks on these cherries, and normallly they are ready to come down if needed. this round looks a full week or week and a half behind what i'm used to.. at least most of the cherries do. weird.

I also am "working" on some of strains i'm growin' now, especially on the ChemDD from Rez, at moment i'm flowering out the F3 generation, and for the summer i'm planning to grow the F4 Then i've also several other own crosses made in the last years Let me know if you're interested in something and i'll check my fridge for a list

ahhh of course lol i forgot about the deep chunk crosses... those are some of Cannacopia's brood. (h e m p d e p o t . c o m) Cannacopia did a ton of Deep Chunk crosses, and all of them have that lovely color action going on, not to mention some pretty sweet potency and flavor, growing stature, cloning properties, and all that. did i mention i paid $35 for a pack of ten G-13 x DC (they call it "Government Mule" on the site)? the bubba kush x dc was maybe $50.. i gotta send all the business their way that i can, cuz you just can't beat prices like that and for such high-quality seeds. i've ordered two seperate batches of each over the last few years and both had more than one great phenos. i am in love with the two bubba kush x dc phenos i got out of this last run (only had four seeds too, cuz i'd donated some to a friend earlier lol), the one shown and then another that is far more purply, almost as dark as the g-13.. got a mama going of her now at week 2-3 so we'll see plenty of her in the coming weeks. i had to delete my entire photo album a couple months ago cuz i filled up 1000 pics in less than four hundred posts lmao so no photos of the older runs, but there were some beauties out of these girls.. i would recommend picking some up quick.

my buddy DJxxxPlatinum sent me the other trainwreck crosses -- Granddaddy Purps x TW ibl, Killer Chem x TW ibl, and just plain TW ibl. also some great stuff. i unfortunately had a circus going on in the garden and in my personal life, simultaneously, so i only was able to hold onto a couple of the killer chem phenos, but they are very good as well. (mad props dj!)

well man i don't live anywhere near the guy that bred and gave me those seeds, and my current setup is way too limited in space to do any breeding myself, so i can't really send you anything on my end.. just good vibes. but if your refridgerator is getting a little full and you have some beans that need to see dirt just lmk maybe we can PM and work something out i love firing up new beans, knowing that i am about to see something that potentially has never been seens before.. i love the way new phenos are all little snowflakes, an island unto themselves.. lol at any rate thanks for the post and kudos mate

Ahhhhh Cannacopia's stuff! I know very well that seed bank, lots of friends in the last years grew lots of their strains and you're totaly right when you say that out of that beans is not so difficult find a winner... I can't forgot a Chunky Cheese pheno of a friend of mine, i think it was 2 years ago, now don't remember well... anyway, it was a real tasty stuff, i never can forget it otherwise if u like so much the deep chunk crosses check the new works of ganesh, i just purchased some Deep Strawberry Diesel from his seed bank at only 40 bucks, from seedbay, i'm still waiting the pack, but i can't wait to pop some of those... and strangely there are still lots avaiable, if i could i'd buy much more...


So the TW crosses are from DjxxxPlatinum, nice... I followed some of his grow diaries in the past, he's a good grower for sure, top grade

Anyway, i also have not so more space and time to do a proper work for my "IBL", i'm a 400watter and the selection i can do is very limited, luckly i've some friends that help me, we sprout 7-8 seeds each, and so the selection is a lil' more defined, but you know, for a serious work i need ROOMS but for my personal need of knowing some more about genetics (in pratice) i think that for the moment it's enough

however i'll check my fridge for some beans, and i let you know if there are something interesting

I suppose as long as the end product ends up being as good, then it still might be worth it from an ease of work standpoint, being you only got to mix up the maxibloom.

it is weird, right? i would have thought that also.. but i think what i did was starve so much nitrogen, probably to the point of detriment, that the flowers just kicked into gear quicker.. shit idk we are farmers not scientists hahaha could have been some other factor like the temps or ph or whatever, honestly.. be fun to see if that trend continues, i plan on doing at least a couple more runs of the Maxibloom.. got my mind runnin now on a plain water soil mix. i did one once in the past, a mix put together by Blazeoneup (thx blaze if your out there, eternal pimp lol) and it was pretty sweet. i think the mix was 50/50 Happy Frog and organic pro mix, with some chunky perlite, bone meal, blood meal, and some dolomite.. whatever it was worked fantastic so i think ima try to set something up and do a test run with a few plants over the next grows and see what mix i can come up with. would love to do nothing but water once/twice a week and that's it. the KISS method is simple enough, but i get tired of shaking the shit up in warm water in a quart jar.. have to go back and forth to get the hot water, not to mention i have to load up six batches to water all these bitches and it is all at once lol oh well life is a journey and i am having fun trying the dif methods. good stuff.

jare: nice, that is a great idea to have a few friends pop beans too then you get a bigger selection for that bomb pheno that's making good use of resources! i hear ya, wouldn't it be a dream to have a big ol house with five rooms, one for males, one for veg, one for bloom.. ok two or three for bloom well just keep me in mind if you get to where you want to, brother. i am definitely set for now with the strains i got running, so don't sweat it at all just didn't want to be rude in the face of the offer (if that's what it was lmao i am stoned )

I'm a fan of both and just started some ladies under the K.I.S.S. method and have augmented it slightly by using calmag and SSU. I was just wondering had you used the SSU and or gravity on the plants that are at day 52&59?

hiya rudeboi, thanks for stoppin in i stopped using the gravity last run.. i prefer the taste without it, i've found. but it does add more weight so it is whatever you are after, i suppose. yes on the snowstorm--i was running that up until about a week ago when i ran out. i will probably wait it out for this next harvest and see what one looks like without it, but i do like the stuff

ok i'm smoking some early cherry and g-13 as we speak!! it is so beautiful to have some good weed to smoke again -- mine -- even though it was only 8 weeks and not really properly flushed, once again it is the bomb. i feel very wonderful. can't wait for a proper blunt of some 10 week cherry (knock on wood)
