Here is pheno 2 of Mt. Madness which is 7 days ahead of the last pheno I posted. Not a bit of fruit smell in this one. There is one more pheno only about 7days in. That looks to be in between the two.

gsizzle...tell ya what...im seeing madness more then cindy in those leaves! i love rEVs cindy, i just dont...well...like smoking it as much as i do her crosses...sounds like random found a pheno that has the madness growth w that extreme raw power that comes from this particular cindy line...please keep us updated as ya go....question, are those the f2s or the small run of f1s from back a ways?

the berry smells are burried pretty good and im guessing will be dominated by the chem smell eventually. another pheno(#a) i have is alot more berry smelling. shorter and doing the whole golfball nugget thing, no colas really. the #b is really taking off. impressing me quite a bit and becoming a stand out in the garden.

Cindy 99 Crosses

So my bro came over today with some fresh samples of the Cinderella 99 crosses. Valley 99, Chem 99, Socal 99.
There was only one female of each grown.
The Socal definitely had the most influence from the mom side, whereas the chem and valley both seemed to have much more cindy qualities. Albeit the Socal definitely had the Cindy influence for sure.

(Valley 99, Socal 99, Chem 99)

All 3 of these were taken 8 weeks. My friend would have let them go longer, but he was moving and had to take them down. The socal was the most mature probably / the fastest flowerer of the 3.

Chem99

The Chem 99 smells very much like the Chem D, but mellow out. Not as offensive, or gross smelling. lol. There is a slight fruity/tropical cindy undertone in there, but its very mild/slight. WHen you squeeze a bud you get a sort of chem D funk / gym sock, but with a catpiss like astringent/tang. It has a Chem D like appearance in terms of its got that light yellowish green sorta of frost / calyx color.
The smoke is very smooth. Has a mild chem d musky taste. Nothing to strong or overpowering, but very nice, and surprisingly smooth. Makes you cough/choke a little bit, but nothing overwhelming. Seems this one would definitely get better with a cure.
The effects seemed to be almost immediate, a very cerebral effect, definite head rush. But with a bit of a body almost numbing effect to. Like a Cindy high with Chem D potentcy.. Well not as strong as the Chem D, but you can feel its effects in there for sure.


Valley99

The Valley 99 Smells kinda like a creamy tropical sorta of thing. Pretty mild smelling at this point. There is a slight valley hint in there when you squeeze a bud, but the primary smell im getting is creamy/vanilla. Definitely a pleasant smell, but not as strong as i expected... My friend said when they were flowering it had a much more og smell coming from it, and was the best smelling of the 3 when they were alive... So this one hopefully will get better with a cure. The smoke on the valley 99 was the most expansive of the 3. Definitely hit JUST like the valley, it choked me up and had me sweating. Almost instant effects. Seemed much more heady and even more sativa/cindy like than the chem99. The taste was hard to distinguish. Nothing coming through to strong taste wise, but it is only like 7-8 days dry. The buds definitely look like they could have gone longer, but they are surprisingly dense, much denser then they look.


Socal99

The Socal 99 is the best smelling of the 3 right now. Or least cure dependent maybe? It smells very much like the socal master, but with a bit of a candy spice. The smell reminds me a lot of Romulan. I get a sort of toothpaste like spice undertone in there as well... The smell is definitely complex, and the strongest smelling without a doubt at this point. Seems like the socal came through strong on this one. The smoke has a good amount of expansion, but not as expando as the valley99. The taste is definitely there, but not super distinct. Im sure a cure will leave a taste that lingers on the tongue. The effects definitely had some more body to it compared to the other two, but still quite a bit of a head rush / sativa like influence to the high as well... Probably a 60/40 blend with indica dom. A similar sort of effect as the socal master, but not as day ending / strong sleepy... Almost like a daytime version of the socal master... Get that great taste, and great stone, but not the crash want to take a nap at 2 in the afternoon that you do from the socal master.


Anyways thats enough for my long ramble of a review. Hope it wasnt to confusing, or too long.

That Mountain Madness is looking pretty insane. Very nice resin production on the fan leaves for so early and could fill in to be a very nice yielder. Look at those fat stems...probably could hold up about anything

Here are a few shots of the J1xIC pheno 1 at 60+ days.
Sorry the pics are crappy, but its to big to pull out.
I was hoping these will give you an idea of the node spacing.
Also when you guys are seeing these J1xIC pics please remember that these have only been fed twice, the rest of the time it was RO water.





Anyone have an ideas of how long J1 or IC should run?

I used to run J1 to about 63 days depending on my mood. I like my stuff to show no more than 10% amber. I've picked it at 56 days and everyone still loved it. That J1 type pheno you have looks even stretchier than J1. Remember there's a chunk of Haze in J1 and IC is half Haze so looks like it's leaning a bit more that way. Bud structure definitely looks more J1ish.

From what I understand Iron Cindy should go about the same at 63+ days depending on the pheno.

Both those phenos you've showed pretty damn good!

Yeah Jack Herer x Skunk #1. Best I can figure after all the research I've done the cut may be up to 20 years old. I'm getting it back soon. Dude I've never seen the thing hermie. Thought it always was a good candidate for reversing and making some S1's and bet some killer stuff would show up. Lot's of old school genetics buried in there. The original beans may have come from a breeder's private stash that were never sold commercially. Seems to have originated out of Amsterdam. Some in San Jose claim they made it but all the info I and Sub came across pointed elsewhere.

Subrob got that cut from me a few years back then all of a sudden it was everywhere in Dago

well...i tell ya what...i been smoking on those three for a couple days and i think bro did a great job growing them! makes it very easy to see the nuances....that 6th element(socal99) aint no joke! that is probably my favorite of the cindy crosses that ive sampled...those two compliment eachother very well...they fit...these cindy genes dont really 'fit' w anything..cindy make plants thier bitches...haa...still uh...studying the valley99...ha..im slow..
---going thru the freezer the other night and we found some pollen that spicoli made me collect and freeze from three(i think?) 6th ele males....i def see a project with those after smoking it...
