Only problems I have from maxibloom was from overwatering or underwatering causing root problems ph issues. Letting the coco dry out to much causes salts issues causing burnt leaves, rust spots ect.
Hi Green Lung,Your Coco is "ready to grow" Bruce no need to wash out salts like inferior brands of coco. Its good to go right out of the bag. Mix up some maxibloom at 5.6-6.0 and water and your good.
Tips for my first 50/50 coco/perlite K.I.S.S. SCROG please.
I’m giving coco/perlite @ 50/50 a run, 1 tsp Maxibloom and about 1 tbs Silica Blast per gallon of 130ppm tap water, PH adjusted to pee yellow, lights on temps 75-85f, RO 25-35%. I’m watering once a day, to drain with about 10% runoff. 3x6 tray under an air-cooled 1,000 watt Sun-Eye on a 6’ light rail – 18” above the canopy.
These plants where veging in soil until two weeks ago. I broke the roots up a good deal during transplanting to coco, removing most of the soil. After the roots recovered they hit the screen about a week ago and I’ve been tying down each day. A few of them look like they some lost vigor, the leaves are slightly down and I’m seeing bleaching or fading of the leaves of one strain. Today I ran the pump for a second time within 24 hours and after an hour or so they seem to have perked up. Should I increase or decrease watering? I’m used to soil, but I habitually overwater it. Any tips to help my coco KISS are appreciated. Thanks.

I'm no expert when it comes to coco .... but everything i've read about it, it needs to stay moist . & with a 50% mix of perilte its gonna need alot of watering . usually its recommended t water coco every day & sometimes twice a day in late flower . with that mix your gonna have to water 2 maybe 3 times a day in late flower . somebody please correct me if i'm wrong (don't wanna give bad advice ) but yeah .... i think your in for a watering adventure .... might want to think about blumats or a drip system .
growem green & stay safe ...Dans
what kind of soil do you recommend for this method?...preferabbly something that i can scoop at the local hydro shop. i have some girls that have been acting up with buddha grow and earth juice catalyst....i like the idea of keeping it simple.
will i be able to begin feeding maxibloom the next time they need nutes? even though they have been getting organic nutes up until then? i want to finish my grow with maxibloom as what i am doing currently has been working
ALL was feed 1 tsp MB per 1 g H2O and i added 1/2 tsp KB twice near the end and flushed 14 days.

Can you give me some details about your plants pictured above. Mainly the size of the pots and the medium you used. The size of the plants when you flipped them to 12/12, and the light you are growing them under. You plants look amazing and are about the size that are nice and easy to manage. Thanks in Advance.
Sir Tokes, who's Cindy might that be? She looks amazing!
