Pure Blend Pro w/ Promix

Just want to get some folks experiences of Pure Blend Pro with ProMix. I have seen some good reviews about it.

Been checking out different nutes lately, picked up the GH 3Part last year and don't really care for it especially with Promix. So I plan on switching up. I want to get Advanced Nutrients but rather wait for Hydroponics for that.

Also seen a few different opinions on what to use. It seems according to Bontanicaire the PBP Grow for Veg and PBP Soil for flower. Will this be enough Nitrogen to hold em through?

PBP + Promix = great results.
start with 5ml per gallon and work your way up if needed. my friend used all their additives as well. he also reused the promix 3 times a year. he swears by liquid karma, hydroplex, and sweet.
i swear i saw his strain (soma's NYCD) grown in promix using advanced nutrients vs. pureblend pro and it looked like two different strains. pureblend pro won in looks, smell, taste, and potency. he was getting 2 per light consistently using 12 plants per bed. another things is that he never used clerex nor flushed at the end.

Ya caught up between the PBP and LC's Organic Mix.
Pretty sure I am going to grab the the PBP Grow/Soil and Liquid Karma though.Maybe the Sweet Raw.

Not sure it I want to get the Hydroplex though. I was looking at AN's Big Bud it was saying that more Potassium is required than Phosphorus and considering AN tests on Cannabis I think its a pretty safe bet they know. I will know soon enough.
Hydroplex 0-10-6
Big Bud 0-1-3

Anyways off to the work, pretty sure thats the shopping list though.
PBP Grow/Soil, Liquid Karma, Sweet Raw and a Litre of Big Bud and the 8Oz of Hydroplex see what is better. I'll have a nice mother to work with then too.

You are going to need to use the pbp grow a bit into flowering to prevent early n fade with a lot of stuff, but aside from that I can't recommend pbp enough. It gives some of the best tasting nugs out of any bottled nutes I've tried.

Thanks for the tip, it seemed as if the Nitrogen level was a little low in the PBP Soil.

Do you do the 50/50 PBP Soil/Grow at the transition stage?
What ratio/How long do you the PBP Grow into flower?
Have you thought about using the PBP Bloom as in the Hydro cycle for the 1st week or 2?

The PBP is seeming pretty promising but I also recieved an email back from AN, I asked how the PH Perfect formula performed with Promix and they replied back saying it has been extensively tested on Promix and the Sunshine mixes.
The AN is also much easier to come by round my area. Though it only takes a couple seconds to call and get the PBP ordered up from the place in town.

Still debating have about 3-4 weeks to make my purchase until the GH runs out/next run begins.

Dansbuds, I currently running the Lucas fomula, with Micro/Bloom though. Don't really care for it in Veg it keeps my plant ok my the 3-2-1 with the 3 part seemed to do a better job. In flower however it is doing very good, especially with the Magnus' Motivation. But I know there are better products out there then General Hydroponics. I know I can get and have seen many stellar results with it. I had planned on grabbing Advanced Nutrients for the last when the GH ran out but I kept coming across the Pure Blend Pure and if I'm in Promix I want to go Organic so the PBP is the next best thing.

If anyone knows of any threads with the Pure Blend Pro let me know.

you can use AN iguana juice and their mother earth teas with promix. they are 100% organic and were made for cannabis cultivation. i just think that the pureblend pro end product is superior to anything i have sampled around... and i sampled a lot of ganja and used numerous bottled nutes.

I agree with you totally on the MB and the KB.........I have the PBP line completely unopened and ready........ and FF(grow big, big bllom, tiger bloom, open sesame, beastie bloomz, and cha ching) which I currently use and have been using for the last few years and WAS going to switch to the PBP line BUT................I forgot how simple it really can be....I had some of the best grows and yeilds way back when I used Peters and a few other things and watched my PH..........My intent for the next go round is...............since I can have up to 20 plants in my grow space that I will do a side by side by side comparison between MBxKB and FF line and PBP line and using a silicate on all...........

Sidenote>>> there is nothing wrong with the results I have been having using the FF line AT ALL and I was going to switch to the PBP line to see if I could better my results but now I am going to go get the 2.2 lb bag of each MB and KB and do the deed.....I will use three strains two each for a total of six for each product of nutes......I will flower the 18 plants and see which has the best results.........room is a 3'7" x 5'2"x 7'5" with a 1000watt hps......

I have been using Promix BX and Botanicare pbp gro/bloom and liquid karma for two years now and it is a great combo. I used Fox farms for a few grows until I tried the Botanicare nutes and will never go back.

For me FF was good, and the Botanicare trio is great.

also... no need for PH up/dpwn...
i use their silica blast as a PH up and liquid karma as a PH down. if i don't have liquid karma on hand, i use GH floralicious plus. it is a powerful PH down (any humic/fulvic mix will lower your PH).

Tagh try this-50% promix, 25%EWC, 25% perlite. Add dolmite lime and moisten with your PBP and blackstrap molasses wait two weeks then use your PBP works great, easy grow.

I use pbp for both hydro and soil only adding pyrosol for over five years now never had any probs what so ever. Was using gh 3 part b4 that all kinds of issues. My prefered method is
dwc with master res. running multiple strains and everything seems to adjust to the pdp just fine. moms are kept in promix flusing

I am with you on the simplicity.

I should have mentioned this earlier. I used a bail of Promix BX, and mixed it with four bags FF OF, one bag Light warior, a bag of happy frog, and two bags pearlite. I am pretty isolated, and the Promix is the only thing available locally, the rest was on hand so I made the most of it and mixed this big batch since I can no longer get any of the FF soils here. my two trash cans full of soil get reused grow after grow, good or bad that is all I have available and it has been working great.

I use the soil mix with pbp grow/bloom/liquid karma. No other special nutes or supplements. Mixed in my well water and never worry about PH. I have some PH test strips which I am sure are not all that precise, I have check it before and it falls in the optimum range.

For my set up I keep it very simple, and everything grows excellent that's whay I love the botanicare trio. 400w mh for veg and a 600hps for bloom, it grows itself.
I am sure there is some ultra fine tuning a botanist could do that would improve something, but I am absolutely tickled every time I harvest.

so you dont need calmag because of the well water?

I only use the three, PBP grow/bloom/and liquid Karma.

Right now I am googling calmag, because I have no idea what it will do for me. I am all for something that can improve my set up.

* Just read up on the product details. It may help I suppose.

What's your advice with my current approach?

Not trying to thread jack here, hopefully this can help the OP as well. You can never have too much bud.

Thanks.

I have been running coco for the past few years and I started with Canna, then moved onto GH, now I have settled with PBP and love it. I like how this thread has mentioned Pro-mix because I have been debating making the switch over the past few weeks as I get ready to re-stock and am more convinced than ever to try it. Might even pick up some soil, more coco, and some pro-mix.....-basket

I've heard you can add sweet in place of cal-mag. I just use cal-mag in veg because I had a bottle and it lasts forever at 3ml a gallon and then add in 5 ml a gallon of sweet during flower, again i use this because I already had it, I don't know if I'll be getting another bottle. I use grow/bloom and liquid karma as well.
