I'll still stick a few seeds in, i cant help myself. Never been able to grow solely from cuttings. Do like a suprise, even if some of them are pretty horendous, lol. But yea, if the cuttings i got root, i'm pretty much sorted in every way i can imagine. Got indicas, indi/sat hybrids, sat heavy goldfinger. All pre-selected for their quality. Will be a real treat for me, as ive never tried any of them before, just seen them in pictures. Good job i bought more autopots and another tank.

Some pheno's of TD are very nice it is sativa but the right pheno does smell of Tangerenes. My friend has it growing and is well impressed.

Just puffed a joint of a lower banch that i accidentally snapped off. It's allright, but nothing to write home about. The smell remids me of the nl5/haze x jack herer i grew, piney, astringent, kind of sweet hazey smell, but it's not as nice as that, nor the buds as dense. I guess the right cutting would be lovely, if it makes decent buds that smell the part. Not real fussed on the hazey twang anyway tbh, was thinking more along the lines of sweet tangerines.

LLP - I aint checked em today m8, they was cool last night, i'll pop in later on when i can and check again. I really bloody hope so, i usually dont have no problems with rooting. All the nmk rooted, and cheesey said they werent the easiest to root, so aslong as they didnt get damaged on route, i rekon they should come good.

Edit: Just looked in and they all look top notch, healthy as hell, and perky. Been in since saturday morning now, so if they still standing healthy by wednesday, i rekon they'll all root.

All the cuttings are looking fantastic! Will be 6 days in the prop in the morning, so i'm pretty confident all of them will root. I usually get 100%, cant remember the last time i lost a cutting, apart from a year or two ago, when i overfussed things. So looks like i should be tasting all these beauties!

Quick question on the goldfinger, how is the stretch? Does she go straight from rooted cutting into flower, or do you veg her? Talking to LLP here really, but if anyone else has grown her, you too.

I'm guessing the stretch on the rest is pretty average, x2-x3 or so. Not convinced the goldfinger will be the same though, and dont want another 6 footer in my tent, lol.

Bit of news, 3 out of the 6 cuts have taken root. The pyschosis x sour diesel is spitting roots, really vigourous, doesnt suprise me though, pyschosis was the same. Also the killaqueen and chem d have rooted. Still waiting on the goldfinger, purple kush and headband/original diesel.

Well chuffed the kq and chem d have rooted, if i could of chosen 2 to defo root it would probably be them 2.

Smoked some tangerine dream earlier, quick dried stuff. Smell is allright, really piney/citrus astringent aroma and taste. Stays on the tongue. Not amazing or anything, but better than i thought. Was gonna leave them both another couple of weeks, one is at 9 weeks, the other at 8, but now these cuttings have rooted, i want the autopots for them. I dont mind potting a well rooted cutting into a large pot, autopots are 15 litres, they grow pretty quick and it doesnt seem to have a bad effect like it does plants from seed, which i allways pot into small pots first.

Hey Solidopc, I have just decided to join you on the autopot adventure for some new plans I have Just out of interest are they at all noisy with the air cages in each one? Have you got any tips that you have not mentioned that I might find useful for when I set up my new rooms with autopots? I will be using 6 x 15 litre in each room
Do you put the coco directly on top of the air dome or shall I put some spreader matting over it to stop the coco falling through?
Will just 100% coco be ok or will it be better to go 50/50 perlite?

Hey m8, you just caught ne. Been locked up for last couple of weeks for non-payment of fines and skipping probation and community service. So aint been around.

The airdomes done make any noise really, its just the airpumps i guess are noisy if you wanted to sleep in the sameroom, but not so noisy you'd notice them outside of it.

The first time i just put the 50/50 coco/perlite mix ontop of the airdome, this time i have an inch of hydroton there. Cant really tell a massive diference, though the nightmare kush seems to like the autopots much more than others have. Its really shining in there, maybe because of the layer of hydroton. maybe because the othgers were haze heavy and didnt like being sat in a little water, which the hydroton stops.

I;d defo use perlite, as it stops the coco getting too heavy and clumped. I like the autopots alot, and they work really well. I'd recommened them to anyone who doesnt want to be watering every few days and the results as far as ive seen are really good.

Sorry to hear you where locked up bro but your out now thats what counts Cheers for the info dude have got a 50litre sack of hydroton in the back garden will bung in a layer over the dome at the bottom and try coco neat on top as want to dispose of in the garden after, and perlite looks shite in a garden bed lol.

i'm on my 3rd grow with a twin autopot under a 400w.Coco A+B canna boost and pk13/14 and i dont think i'll ever change.

Chopped the goldfinger the other day, and i got to say, i dont think it actually is goldfinger, its cheese or a cross of it. It smells and looks indentical to cheese, and that cant be coincidental. Sure i got the cuts mixed up, but i wasnt supposed to have cheese either. But no doubt about it, reeks of cheese. Never smoked malawi gold before, but i smoked enough cheese to recognise it. Weird. Cutting gunna be dropped, cos ive had enough cheese. Hope the others turn out better. the nmk is killiing it atm, looks better than the chem d and just covered in resin. Doesnt seem too bad a yielder either. Was expecting less.
