he said in chat that it was old betsy, lots of silica would help from having to stake so early. If I had to stake a plant before it was in full flower I wouldn't run it again.

It is Old Betsy. If your middle finger is thicker than the main stalk of my old betsy you are one big boned S.O.B !!!!!!! I have so many stakes in place to make the pic below possible... The green tie up tape is to keep them from getting slammed in high wind.. 10 more holes to plug then I am going to work on the 8x8 mounds!

I've got the sausage fingers brotha! lol
I think the size of Old Betsy in the pic is deceiving, not much to use for size reference.
Much respect for the mini greenhouse setup, I did something similar for my long running Caribbean Red hot peppers.

Do you guys mainly take care of your gardens yourself? Besides harvest and trimming of course.

Is it possible to tend to say, a 25 plant plot with 2+ pound plants alone?

its possible....just a shiton of work. im a newb and splitting 18 200 gallons with a friend and we are sweating and tired everyday after mixing soil and moving shit around....

but pros like GD can bang out my entire plot in 3 days!

trimming and processing is the most labor intensive so thats were the hired help comes in....you gotta find a place to dry and process 50lbs....not exactly easy. we are hoping that we can fit 50lbs drying in a doublewide trailer and a 10x10 barn...but kinda get the feeling its not enough..

It is extremely possible to do this task. You're talking about 25 100 gallon pots if your goal is to hit between 2-5 LB. It should take you at most a day to fill those and plug them and if you set yourself up on some drippers or shrubblers or something you won't have to hand water...even bringing in 25 medium sized plants at harvest you could handle by yourself. Just bring in the cleaners after it's dry and you'll be golden. For what its worth my buddy and I turned and amended all my holes in a day of work and plugged them in 2 days and I have 60 300 gallon beds.. Go grow your ass off!!!

local hero-yeah that's exactly our plan. our mix is heavily amended and won't require feeding during veg, except for the occasional foliar. but for flower we've got a huge mixing tank with an inline pump in the bottom connected to a hose for bloom nutes. yeppp

dude.. all it is is some valves a water holding tank with a grommet and fitting at the bottom with an inline pump made for that use... coming off tank.. Super basic design.. then you pvc or poly out to your drip/irrigation or spigots...

Man...you guys bust your asses...to grow a weed.

You need to put something in to give us an idea of scale.

Below are a few pics of my bottom girls. Shovel is for scale. Five ft.

Of course it helps if you live 1000 miles further south in Maui. None of that nasty cold stuff here.

Can't help but notice all your pots are off the ground...that's gotta be fun...not here. dig a hole, put some goodies in it, throw a drip line on it...off to the races. Keep in mind we're barely halfway into May yet....these have another 10 ft to go.

Any idiot can do it....I'm living proof...:tiphat:

Any secrets on how to get dense hard buds???Picked up a few packs last year in 707, they were labled green house blue dream but I don't think it was blue dream, had a more of a skunky smell and frosty lime green look...All the buds were the size of a 50 cent piece but were trimmed to perfection and they were hard and dense like rocks, prolly came from a grower who knew wtf they were doin lol...but it was my first time ever seeing outdoor buds lookin better that half the indoor you see at most of these elite cannabis club!

m4n-GENETICS. and a lot of direct sun light.
but honestly, i wouldn't worry about density, or even bother to achieve "rock hard". your really only going to create problems with bud rot. the denser the bud the more likely your bud will rot outdoors from morning dew or rain.
also there are some salt-based bloom boosters that advertise promoting flower density, but imo you probably would be sacrificing flavor and quality of smoke for density. and imo, there is more than enough commercial salt grown garbage.

tg- yess.. i think people are abbreviating my handle, and then creating the problem of addressing myself and butte. i think people are usually aware i'm a different person, but possibly not. don't want to get in the way of anyone's cyber egos.. although, i would like people to address me as butte_creek, thank you.
