Do nothing. Be patient.

Anything you do that will effect them fuckers will contaminate your room and also kill your predator mites.

Greenlight Neem Oil. $10 at lowes/depot (70% neem). They also make a "Fruit tree" (70%Neem, 0.25% Pyrethrins, 2.5% Piperonyl Butoxide) and $16.

You must spray the top and bottom of every leaf, the stems, and the top layer of the soil. Every 2-3 days and they should be gone within 4 weeks.

100% coverage is the key. The first week every 2 days then 2-3 day intervals afterwards to keep interupting the breeding cycles. The neem oil puts a barrier on the leaves that they will not eat through. I have seen leaves on a plant that "matted" during application. It was almost as if the mite bites formed a serrated leaf pattern it was that obvious.

To apply it you mix with water and liquid soap. I use an eco friendly plant based dishsoap. Costco brand. I also recommend the $20 "Roundup" 2gallon pump sprayer.

Every Leaf.

Fuck that.
Everything mentioned will kill your friendly mites and they will do a better job of properly slaughtering them evil fuckers.

But if you ever do use Neem oil:
Mix it with tap water, luke warm or room temperature.
Spray em 1 time.

Wait 2 or 3 days and spray with "Safer soap".

You probably won't need to but just to be safe:
wait another 2 or 3 days and give em another mist with Neem oil.

Einstein Neem Oil can be ordered over the net and is pure neem. Greenheart has the good info on how to apply.

Listen up. Get the fuck out of the infirmary or stop giving bad advice.

I have gone through literally thousands of gallons of Neem oil. Apply it the way it recommends on the container, there is no more effective method.

Now for you kids who are apparently uneducated about mites:
NEVER CONTAMINATE YOUR ROOM IF YOU ARE USING PREDATOR MITES, MANTIS, OR LADYBUGS.

ALWAYS alternate solutions when using pesticides with mites, thrips or any living pest in a ID grow. The reason is that mites will build an immunity to pesticides, resulting in a super-strain that you can't kill short of introducing predators or more serious and potentially harmful chemicals.

Now if you want to learn something shut the fuck up and read. There are a lot of people here with 20+ years of dealing with pests and weed. If you contradict advice then you better be able to explain why you method is better or better advised for the application.

ok thank you all. But I was wondering if I can do anything in "addition" to the predators. Common sense tells me no (will kill predators too.) but im new. Can i at least spray with water or would that slow them down too? Reluctant to spray any chemical on my plants other than sticky, so am hoping that these work, Reading threads and it seems they do not work so great

Anything you do except spraying with room temp water will harm your mites.
Once you introduce your predator-mites then do NOT even spray with water until you can't find any mites. That will let you know that your friends have slaughtered the bad guys and are dying off as well because there isn't anything left to feed on.

You're doing it right EG, just be patient buddy.

my fault stress did not see your last post before i finished typing lol, But what about the spraying water? I ask because my plants seem to thrive if I spray every 3 days, plus im "trying" to get rid of a deficiency.

It's called Foilar Spraying. Search it.
If you have already added you predator mites, make sure your humidity is above 60%, many die off below that.
If you haven't added them yet, there are other options (esp if you in low humid environ).
Mite take abuut 4 weeks to work, but when they do they are awesome. A little army of soldiers fighting the enemy for you.

Okay now we have more information.

Deficiencies can sure be a biatch sometimes. I have a recipe that I start immediately after they are stable, or late into the seedling stage.

Here is the recipe:
Mix: Full strength nutes/1 Tbls "Brer Rabbit" molasses/1 Tbls "Lilly Miller" Vitamin B1 plant starter/gallon water/1/2 Tbls Epsom salt/1 crush Aspirin.

Mix together in HOT water; nearly boiling to dissolve all the solids. I mix this on the stove with 3 cups of the water, put it in a quart mason jar w/lid and shake the hell out of it for a couple minutes and then add it back to the jug after it cools down.

The molasses and B1 both contain chelated Iron, Manganese and Zinc and other minerals and the Epsom salt with help boost the Mg.

The chelated minerals will help uptake mobile NPK and water, and the Vit B1 will encourage new root growth.

I feed my plants this solution every time I water/feed and NEVER see signs of lock-out or up-take problems.

Plants with MTV recover and seldom show recurring signs of the virus throughout their life cycle.
Rooted clones will absolutely thrive and explode on it.
Deficient plants recover nearly overnight.
Plants seem to actually build an immunity to pest and PM.

Ok now I have a bunch of questions, I have heard ppl talk about aspirin both in "foliar" and in there res, what does it do? I have a 10 gal res would that recipe work for that? add extra gallon of water? Also MTV? Thats that tobacco disease right? I dont beleive I have that. Just a small P or K problem have not pinpointed it yet, Never the less Its no big deal to stop "foliar" feeding for a while while predators are kikin arse!

Spray with some neem oil today. Neem oil in my opinion is the best organic preventative solution out there. Its gonna kill bugs, pm, and help keep them away.

Now make sure the predatory mites will not be adversely affected from the neem. If they are, rinse the leaves off before setting the killers free.

When using neem oil make sure you mix it into warm water. Well spraying make sure you continuously agitate the solution to keep the neem oil from creaming.

Aspirin doesn't just help combat the Tobacco Mosaic Virus.
There is a wealth of info online about the effects of aspirin on plants.
Plants naturally produce a substance in response to injury, such as when cut, which also causes wilting of the plant. Aspirin inhibits this substance and so delays the aging process of flowers in the vase..
When used on growing plants, it boosts their immune systems by activating their protective responses. Aspirin contains salicylic acid which plants produce naturally for this purpose.

My recipe would probably need some modification for use in hydo. But many hydo growers already use variations of my recipe. Ummm the Lucus solutions is another variation.

The point is KISS buddy.
My advice is based on simple over the counter methods that are proven to resolve plant problems, that I know work from fucking up myself and having put it to test.

Ok so I am fighting a losing battle with these mites. I placed predatory mites in my garden almost 2 weeks ago. I figured it would take some time to establish themselves but after a week I got impatient. Out of my 8 plants, one of them is getting hit the most. Nearly 90% of leaves show mite damage and mites themselves. On advice from a "trusted" friend, I picked up some neem oil and removed that 1 plant and sprayed as directed. Then after leaves dried I put back in garden. I am about 2 weeks away from going into bloom, and just germinated new batch of seeds, (don't wanna clone plants with mites) at this point I don't care if I kill my predators, I can always get more.

just FYI. I bought pirate bugs. They killed the shit out of my thrips, but my spider mites are still around.

also there is some stuff called take down that works ok.

use "take down" then use like 1/8 strength azamax the next time, then use neem oil the next time.

azamax is very strong, and only use it early on in flower.
