Mega....Guys....It`s all but FUKIN impossible ta maintain lights on/off temps that Bobble`s doin as we speak , so just Bow to the Master......

Anything within 10 degree variables help dial shit for the end result , and then there`s Bobble......:dance013:....

Hmmm constant temps on/off very important......that is my next big goal......maintaining stable temps.......excellent DHF.

Peace

:dance013:

Yields will come Bro.....Failure is not an option.....I feel yas....but...

When yas figure out how big yer monocropped girls needta be before end of stretch ta fill out that sideways canopy walls of weed , that`s when the gpw`s start hoonin.....

Equatorial Sativa`s receive the lowest lights on/off temp differential under the big metal halide in the sky with true 12 hr intervals of gradual max lumens down to lower toward dusk then dark , and are some of the stretchiest biggest natural plants on earth....

That said , as close to no difference in on/off temps promotes stretch like a mofo on plants that`ll stretch......Yas gotta veg indica bitches ta death for the proper canopy once flipped from lil to no stretch and comparable yield comparisons come end of cycle........

Raisin temps during summer won`t be a problem cuz they do fine up to mid 80`s with major air exchange.....just adjust yer shit ta compensate when the time comes......simple....babyshit for Enviro Man BH....LOL.....

Carry on Bobble.....good shit Bro.....

Peace....DHF.....:ying:.....

I'm not gonna beat a dead horse... Point taken on yields.

I think 1.5gpw is small potatoes, and we've discussed this before... Once mono-cropped and dialed-in, I think 2-3gpw can happen with the right strains. We just watched Aero kill the gpw even with multiple strains in his RDWC... Needless to say, I'm a confident SOB. :D

I really appreciate all of your help so far Freds. I couldn't have done it without you. I'm going to change the temperature settings on the controller to stay at 75F, with a 1F variance. I'm staying within 3F easy right now... Overkill is underrated.

So what do you fish for? Cause if I'm catching fish, well then that's exciting... but if I'm just sitting there watching the water, well that's the part I can only take for so long... I went salmon fishing 2 summers ago on Lake Michigan. Now that was fun! But first we had to troll around for like 4 hours before we found any fish... ha ha...

This whole discussion is making me pay closer attention to my on/off temps, disparity, .. Bobble, we can't be too far from each other (geographically), and my little 6 sq ft hut gets down to 64 at night, sometimes 62. :( Daytime temps are usually around 72-74..

I had three "vents" open on the hut for air exchange, and cut it down to one yesterday, .. Was able to get daytime temps up into the mid-high 70s, but the bedtime temps were still mid 60's.. Sonofabitch.

Anyway, enough about my gimpy setup - yours is lookin' marvy, Bobble! I can't wait to see these broads fill in and do their thing.

:watchplant:

Add a space heater. They're cheap, and well worth the power consumed come harvey time. If you're lights on temps top out at 73-74, then heat your room to that temperature at night. BAM!

you can talk about your own room as much as you want. We're all here to learn.

coming from my mentor, that is huge... Thanks again Freds.
Heat Exchanger + Flip/Flop pods FTW

I think I said before, people are going to think of me like they think of Heath when it comes to vertical growing...

Thanks. Heath has had a lot of influence on me, but DHF has been here with me the whole way.

Thanks for the pics Red! The room looks great! Beautiful canopy... Here's a peak at my tester room, under construction... Soon to house House of Love, Chrome, Reservation Labs, and Hortilab testers... among various other breeders generous enough to gift me genetics. I'm truly blessed. :D

"Almost impossible is NOT impossible".....like Bobble......I will only be happy with perfection AND maximum GPW........period......so let it be written...so let it be done.

Yeah.....I know I beat that "yield" dead horse , but you guys refuse ta run 1 strain at a time , so I keep beatin...I mean..........

Ain`t hard ta setup more smaller rooms ta run shit separate while dialin it`s environmental and nutrient needs.....once it`s dialed , then it`s Pete and Repeat......

Guaranteed numbers till forfukinever....All bout da yearly averages IME....Mega......Go get you some.....All da help in da world right here for yas ta do as much as you expect to.......

I`d accept nuthin else....Now get ta work...Got mad faith in yas....

Bobble.... 2+ gpw`s really not that far away given smaller rooms with adequate wattage and environment dialed....3 per`s gonna take increased plant numbers and intermediate dialed conditions.....

I set up the racks from my old ebb and flow bucket flip rooms kinda in haste , but replanted all 8 rooms in 4.5 week intervals and they all finished within grams of 98 ozs from 64 plants.....over a 4 month period....

Never got a chance ta add extra plants on the floor before shutdown that would`ve at least added another 15-20% , so.....

6 + lbs coulda turned into at least 7 lbs easy , maybe more.....and you know.....Sky`s the limit....

Handle it Bro.....Freds....:ying:.....

Good to have you around again Red. I told you I was going to get here eventually... Thanks for the extra inspiration. :)

Good attitude Mega. There is nothing that can't be done if you put your mind to it.

I'll take that at a compliment. :D

I read your post, and I almost emptied out my veg tent and put the extra plants in the pod... ha ha... and then I thought to myself, "hey fool, where are the clones gonna come from?"

Next round, plants on the floor as well. Mono-cropped.

you guys inspire me :tiphat:

any advice for us small timers in non med states?

Yeah, environment > lumens every time. I've been throwing light at my plants for years, not taking into consideration the other factors effecting growth.

I'm in a med state, but I'm not playing by the rules... I tried it, and the system just isn't ready. I don't think communication with the registry is too much to ask. I want to know where the revenue is going... b/c 60% of the state approved the bill.. 10's of thousands of people have filed for their cards... paying $100 a pop to the state... And they can't hire someone to answer the phone/e-mail/letters?

My advice is to always treat this hobby like it's illegal no matter where you are. If you're taking the risk of growing, you might as well be growing in excess. If you're caught, you're caught. Know the law.

I love the tester room bobblehead.

Thanks labtec. It's a work in progress... But I need a testing facility, b/c if I don't start mono-cropping, Freds is gonna disown me. ha ha...

By all means take that as a compliment. This is looking great. I would love to make myself a set up similar when I have my own place. Your running three 600's in there correct?

DHF - What where you running when you achieved the 6+ pounds. (lights)

Hey Jgrow.....The yr before I swapped from DIY ebb and flow 5 gal buckets to my version of Heath`s racks , I was gifted with the clone only Chemdawg D cut , and it was as close to my old school genetics I`d had jacked by tweakers in a random burglary at 1 of my locations , so I set out ta dial the finicky elite bitch....

Once figured out for the cal/mag whore that she was , I could snap my fingers and the bitch would jump...........

I got consistent 2.5 oz pulls out of her in my ebb and flow buckets with lil to no problems for 5 lb harveys every run easy outta 35 palnts till I went coco all the way DTW , and then the chasin started all over again......

Hadta literally foliar the bitches with a concoction of calcium nitrate and epsom salts till end of stretch , and then she`d swell accordingly......but.....

I only needed 1.5 ozs outta her ass for the gpw`s with increased plant numbers runnin my version of Heath`s racks , so I knew it was babyshit to achieve my goals of 2 lbs and over per 600 watts.......

Dial your environment to perfect lights on as well as lights off....run as closeta 50 watts per sq ft religiously......guaranteed you`ll be happy once yer shit`s dialed........it`ll grow it`s fukin self....

I went to my setups once a week..and had 4 locations with 2 rooms at each...that oughta speak volumes on what dialed environmental setups and automated feed will do for your peace of mind and back pocket....

Nuff said.....DHF.....:ying:......

Well my man DHF i do appreciate the advice. Knowledge like this is invaluable. Im blessed.

I do have a question though. How many watts per room were you running?

and I didn't realize how cold it would get in the basement.
Oh yeah Bobble. Before we moved I grew in unheated basement for 5+ yrs, great in spring and fall, way too humid in summer, nice in winter with a little liquid filled heater for lights out, but I did not and could not worry about temp flucuation. Man some days it would be so cold before lights came on. Good luck it all looks great. Still hoping you get that vacation sooner than later. lol

Bro...Did yas see what Bobble`s thread`s about ?.....3-600`s stacked on top of each other.....sorry if I wasn`t more clear.....

My version of Heath`s racks......Bobble`s runnin "his" version with his own tweaks and upgrades ftw....

Peace...DHF....:ying:....

Bobble - Not a bad idea about the space heater. I took off out of town for a few days last month, and I left the space heater on (in the room itself, not in the hut, .. about 10x10) all weekend.. Came back and was relieved (for real) to see my house not-burnt-down.

After that, I felt like I'd gotten away with something and didn't use the space heater, .. (Instead, I switched to a big flood reflector and a heat lamp bulb - probably not much difference in terms of safety).

Anyway, that's a good thought about the space heater. Maybe I could turn it on LOW for just a short time (20, 30, 40 mins) at a time, during the dark cycle, ..
I've got a feeling that once Summer gets in full swing around here instead of this horseshit (rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain), I won't need any of that, .. And instead, I'll probably be trying to work it the other way, ...

Done. Timer is all set. On for 20 minutes an hour during bedtime, .. Slowing down to 20 minutes every 90 minutes for the last 3 hours.

I'll let you know how it turns out. Much respect and appreciation for the concept, fact, and idea. (Those are three separate things, I mean.)

Thanks Bobble!
