I entertained myself by making pizza last night.
Try spinning a 16" pizza dough when you're baked...it's not easy if you don't do it every day. Still looking for that perfectly stretched masterpiece but even the not so perfect are always good.
Honey baked ham, onions, mushrooms, black olives topped with pepperoni. East Coast old school 'pizzaria on the corner' type pizza, none of this West Coast bean sprouts and avocado weirdness they try to call pizza.
Why mess with a perfectly fine idea? Have a salad with it... not on it.

Okay, yeah, so I'm a little wide around the middle but life is too short to not enjoy.

I'm going to make up for it by getting some Korean pepper on my trip to the big city today. Going to try my hand at making kim-chee. A nice big plate of kim-chee and some jasmine rice will sweat the lard from the pizza right out.
I figure the lard can wait a few days for the kim-chee to ferment a bit. Seems like one of those things that even if you screw up a bit it will still turn out okay... not a lot of moving parts in kim-chee.

Wish me luck...I may need it when wifey finds buckets of fermenting cabbage filling the fridge.

I may be spending more time near the flower closet exhaust system.
