Was about ta send out a search party....LOL.....Temps within 5 degrees will definitely encourage stretch my buddy.......Awesome job.....Watch RH durin lights off after end of stretch.....

Use the close temp diff to your advantage during stretch .....fill that canopy in......and yeah......bigass dehuey`s hoon on da powerbill and amperage draw.....good call on changin circuits.......

A safe bloom room is a happy bloom room....lung room`s included of course....:moon:.....

My best advice on findin homes ta remodel and grow your ass off is ta look for distressed/foreclosure properties in neighborhoods where the price of all the other homes existing is constant......IOW.....

Buy cheap shit in good neighborhoods.......not the other way around.....Good neighborhoods offer better security for your project .....guaranteed......

Cheaper`s not always better......gotta feel safe about a place you`re gonna grow in , legal or not , ya know ?.....

R/O setup`s a must for total nutrient profile control....You`re on yer way Bro......I ran 1/2 R/O and 1/2 tapwater, but still ran 5 ml Cal/Mag per gal ta keep the girls happy.......coco wise that is...

I`m on my bucket waitin fer updates ......It`s only a matter of time before shit`s kickin like chicken up in Bobble town....

and here we go...

Aqua Logic Dual Stage Controller

Radiator in front of exhaust fan, 1/4hp chiller below. Water goes up from the reservoir, up into the radiator, where it's cooled by the exhaust fan before hitting the chiller.

Lights just came on

AIR-2 independent humidity and cooling controls. So far I haven't even set up the intake fan.

DRIZAIR200- old ass dehuey, but it does the job. I need to take it apart again and replace some old tubing that's cracked and dripping. Once that's done and the cover is on tight, I don't forsee anymore probs... but with the cover off/loose, there isn't enough suction and the damn thing start blowing fuses and flipping circuits...

RO system hung on the side of my sink. I built the stand myself. :dance013:

Just add fertilizer!

Oh, and I switched out all the lights (that aren't HID, duh...) in the basement to these...

Veg tent... put in my cloning shelf, with fluorescent lights under the shelves.

Straw D x Chem bx1 for the next round...

And what you've all been waiting for...

I'm not trying to count my eggs before they hatch, but I'm pretty confident this is a 6lb crop if I stay on top of my shit. This mule is already roasting over the fire.

Nice update ! Now that you have everything set up every run from here is only going to get better ! From the looks of the veg/clone area you will not have a problem with fillin the pods next time.

Sitting back watching the show, time for the stretch

RH won't be an issue... but the plants seem to add 10%, so now I understand running the dehuey at 45%... The DRIZAIR has been repaired and is ready to suck up to 25 gallons a day out of the air... or so it's rated anyway. Air exchange 2x a minute 24/7. For the stretch I have the exhaust on temperature control. The intake is bringing in humid air, positive pressure in the pods but negative pressure in the lung room.

5mL cal/mag? I'm running micro/bloom 6/9... and I've read your posts over and over about how you don't care what REZ says... lol and I've followed your advise this far...

I have a question for yas Freds... Your racks, did you build 8 or 16 per room? For the next pod, I'm thinking about making them hold 2 pots per a level. I really don't think 16 individual racks is necessary... But given my original plans, it was what I needed to do at the time.

With this controller, I can set minimum and maximum temperatures, and even control the variance down to 1 degree F. I use a 50gal reservoir.

Some people are going to caution me against condensation on the radiators causing bud rot, or excess humidity. I say if the water is on the coils of the DRIZAIR, it's not gonna be on my radiators. ;) There won't be extreme temperature differences to cause the condensation either... air temp and water temps are going to be within 5 degrees F.

Well Bro....what I did was make the inside measurements of the racks 4' wide on all 4 walls with the angled shelves set at 18 , 36 , 54 , and 72".......The lights were set at 2 , 4 , and 6' , but with only 4 plants on each level , and yeah.....16 plants per wall with the corners angled and covered in reflectix......so....64 total 1.5 oz plants...simple....babyshit.....

Not really an octagon since the angled corners were only 17" wide that held all the equipment and shit.....but Bro.....I`ve got full confidence in your ability to modify and tweak your setup to your individual needs , so modify and dial away.......

With proper air exchange there`s no fukin way any nasties can form in your area , especially with your slim to none temp diffs.....Been doin this shit lotta yrs Bobble , and I`ve never seen ANYONE dial environment as tight as you......EVER.....not even Heathie.....I think his best was lights on/off temps within 6 degrees , so feel blessed......you`re killin it......now....

Get the right strains , monocrop , dial fuck out of em , and blow shit up.....everything else is in place from where I`m sittin and watchin.....

Peace....Freds.....:ying:......

I knew that's what you had told me about your racks... lol, I really went all out with my build... and I was trying to figure out how you got the equipment in the corners. I'll have see how this shapes up over the next couple weeks, and go from there...

I've spent the past couple months learning about environmental factors effecting plant growth... And I like to overdo pretty much everything... This heating/cooling system was an accident. I was originally going to run some RDWC buckets. I think this is a much better use of the equipment. The house has central air as well, so there is no doubt temps will stay on point.

You should have seen the smile on my face when I saw the heat exchangers working via the thermometer. I brought night temps up and light temps down. Beautiful. Just how I had it in my head.

EDIT: what if I can get lights on/off temps to nearly the same? I mean how much of a difference can it make, realistically? lol idk, but I turned off the pump going to the radiator in front of the exhaust... So I'm only heating the pod, and I have the temperature up to 70F lights off, 73F lights on. I wonder if I'll be able to keep this up when it's 90F outside...

Sounds like a nice bit kit... still not 100% how it works but it does so thats the main thing...:D see the vegging room is looking good and the Clone factories well on its way... lol :)

Good luck with the grow 6lb is a lot of bud i wish you well... never a truer saying than dont count your chickens before eggs have hatched.... dont know how many times i said yeah we deff got "xyz out of this grow" and something fucks up lol.... sure you wont tho dude your shits tighter than teenage nuns cu nt!!! :D

I can probably give you a better explanation of what's going on...

I'm running a 50 gal reservoir, and I try to maintain the res between 73 and 76F. Right now that means I have to heat it, and I need another heater because 1 isn't cutting it... This is a temporary problem though, since I'll be firing up another pod in a couple weeks and that'll generate plenty of heat.

So anyway, Right now I'm pumping my warm water (warmer than the air), into a radiator in the pod. The intake blows over the radiator, and exchanges the heat/cold. Cold water goes back into the reservoir to be heated.

Eventually that's all going to change... Once the other pod is fired up, the system will be complete. So the radiator is going to absorb the heat from the pod with lights on, and put it into the room with lights off, and also into the lung room. The chiller is only going to kick on when temps get above 75.

I'll probably end up adjusting the settings as summer gets here... run the pods 75-80... like I said, for now the system is heating.

Did that help any?

yes totaly got what your doing now wit the rad and heating/cooling water ect... but whats the Aqua Logic dual-stage controller.... controlling the speed the water is put through the radiator... or the speed the fans move at... or everything?

The controller is controlling a water heater, and normally the chiller... Normally all the water pumps are running full blast all the time, with air constantly moving over the radiators. Crazy air circulation, and serious temperature control. Right now I have the water pump for the radiator that hangs in front of the exhaust on the cooling control. It was pulling too much heat out of the res, so I had to make some changes until it warms up. I've never had to heat my grow before... lol I know that this was slowing down my growth a little to start out, and I didn't realize how cold it would get in the basement.

If I get anything less than 5lbs... I'm gonna lose my mind.

ahhh ok i see now.... thanks for taking the time to explain lol.....

dont get to hung up on yield i know you need money to survive i would get that other pod Built Asap incase this dont get ya numbers you want... remember this is your first run dude at a new location and your nt running a mono-crop grow where you know the plants inside out.... expect the worst and anything more is a bonus... thats how i work anyway lol... sure your gonna kill it.... :pimp3:

Thanks... I didn't know it was going to be this tricked out either... lol... I think it's going to pay off though. I spent a lot of night awake thinking about it. Like last night, I had to come home just to check and make sure the float valve was working right and my basement wasn't flooding... lol I'm pretty confident in how everything is running now.

Thanks for the advise on yield. Now I'm going to politely disregard most of it... ha ha... Failure is not an option. When I get it in my head that 4lbs is ok, I will lose my edge.

I'm already getting the other pod ready to go. it has a reflectix ceiling... I just picked up the mounting hardware for the lights. The only parts I'm missing are the racks, and I'm going to wait 2 weeks before I get started on those... I want to see how my circle works out right now. I'm not sure if I'm going to build 4 or 8 shelves. Probably 8, but 16 was too many!

Great job màn.

I go to the job every weekend bro. Multiple sources of income are crucial imo... I don't want to be dependent on my job, but I don't want to be dependent on growing either. I could have to quit tomorrow.

Anyway, keep hanging around here when you have the time available... Most of what I know about growing I learned here.

Yields will come Bro.....Failure is not an option.....I feel yas....but...

When yas figure out how big yer monocropped girls needta be before end of stretch ta fill out that sideways canopy walls of weed , that`s when the gpw`s start hoonin.....

Equatorial Sativa`s receive the lowest lights on/off temp differential under the big metal halide in the sky with true 12 hr intervals of gradual max lumens down to lower toward dusk then dark , and are some of the stretchiest biggest natural plants on earth....

That said , as close to no difference in on/off temps promotes stretch like a mofo on plants that`ll stretch......Yas gotta veg indica bitches ta death for the proper canopy once flipped from lil to no stretch and comparable yield comparisons come end of cycle........

Raisin temps during summer won`t be a problem cuz they do fine up to mid 80`s with major air exchange.....just adjust yer shit ta compensate when the time comes......simple....babyshit for Enviro Man BH....LOL.....

Carry on Bobble.....good shit Bro.....

Peace....DHF.....:ying:.....

This whole discussion is making me pay closer attention to my on/off temps, disparity, .. Bobble, we can't be too far from each other (geographically), and my little 6 sq ft hut gets down to 64 at night, sometimes 62. :( Daytime temps are usually around 72-74..

I had three "vents" open on the hut for air exchange, and cut it down to one yesterday, .. Was able to get daytime temps up into the mid-high 70s, but the bedtime temps were still mid 60's.. Sonofabitch.

Anyway, enough about my gimpy setup - yours is lookin' marvy, Bobble! I can't wait to see these broads fill in and do their thing.
