This is 'Clackamas Coot' who lost his account through stupidity on my part, i.e. I was not banned for any reason or cause. Real or imagined.

But I did take note of your tag line which reads: "If a man wishes a woman to be more feminine, he must be more masculine"

My only comment is that this isn't always the quickest path to the ultimate goal - getting down with a hot chick. There are several 'secondary metabolites' contained in plants that can move that process forward rather quickly - like cocaine, THC, etc.

"Don't Panic - Go Organic' even applies to the goal (worthy indeed!) of getting down with the hot 'n nasty' process perhaps?

Just a thought - in general.

Well I guess I am about 3-4 weeks away from finishing. This is so damn exciting AND nerve wracking.

I just want to harvest - move out of the city, and start again.

I continue to see and understand what i did wrong in this grow. And some of the things are just about $ and it being my first time...dollars and sense I guess.

My dream grow is a vertical posted here by NorthernFarmer (i think). Red Spaghetti also has some very nice vertical action.

I already know what I am doing next time differently:

1. More space or fewer plants. The center area of the grow space shouldn't be so packed that it looks like a horizontal grow. I need the space in the center open for the side plants grow into and the lights to hang deeper inside them and not high above because of height issues from plants occupying the center of the grow space.

2. Strain selection is important, extremely. My strains must better compliment my grow space. The Khali and Sour Diesel seem to do that quiet well.

3. More light, more power. I am getting a 5k diesel generator at the next place to run in an enclosed and vented space in the basement. I will only use 2800 watts on it with that being 3x600 in a veg. room and an extra 1000 in the flower room. And my power foot print will barely change. I also use different ID/information when I get my power, cable, gas, and even the lease. So nothing is in my RL name to leave any sort of pattern.

4. Increase my technique and explore the use of teas. I do believe my soil mixture was right on point for the strains I am concerned with so now it is all about peaking and tweaking, or as you veterans say "Dialing It In".

5. Environment will help me more. Co2 - Next location i am having a natural gas line run and will be using a real generator with a water chill line on it. My fans will be temperature controlled, and a dehumidifier is a must.

I am so paranoid about moving and leaving not trace behind that I also have: New Hard drives, Operating system, cable modem, router, Network card, so that when i go online at my new place there is no digital signature for the cable companies to identify my equipment and recognize it as simply having 'moved locations'. This also includes "never using WIFI". I do not. I don't even us a phone anymore. I use Skype with a phone ID in a diff country and caller ID reflecting that country as well. I don't think i am uber paranoid. I just have done work in the government and military and know what is possible when they bring their full focus on you. Therefore i prefer to be as hard to focus on as possible.

One thing that is good is that more people use more power these days with TV/Computer/cable boxes/console games etc in multiple rooms of their home and so many also use a plethora of electric tools charging 24/7. So running around 2000w on the grid isn't a big deal. Heck many run more and are fine. But i do what i feel comfortable with.

All I can do is prepare and plan because those who fail to plan, plan to fail. And I have a date with my inner hermit in the middle of nowhere to keep in 24 months. So i am a woman on a mission!

I noticed that 1 half the room had considerably more crystals on the leaves than the rest, so i switched the bulbs around and height adjusted them a bit and hope the other side crystals up more too, because it looks very very sweet!

O.K. time to start reading about when and how to harvest...and that makes me smile. :D

So many elements of indoor growing involve a continual learning process. As you know, most of the things on your list are in some way shape or form linked to the others. You were very thorough in your initial research & as a result you've picked things up very quickly. So many new gardeners spend time or get hung up on worrying about the technicalities surrounding their lights, bottled nutrients, etc. Instead, you learned the basics from other people's experiences by using the knowledge available here at IC Mag & as a result are working on the things that are more beneficial to you in the long run. Bravo! It's very refreshing to see someone approach growing in such a "take no prisoners" style.

I have no doubt that in time you'll get your strains, plant spacing & feeding regime down. Thanks for the consistent updates!

OK ALL DONE!

OK ALL DONE!

Alright. All done. All chopped. I am so stoned right now.

Results: I don't post numbers. I find it rather odd. Kind of like people who post their salary. So, i will say this. I purchased 24, 32oz (1 quart) mason Jars, and 20 are full now.

The Sour Diesel was the lightest yielder.

AK47 was the heaviest with about 1oz to 1.5oz per girl.

O.K. new plan time. So i will be posting a thread for the next round.

#1 - Better Spacing ** I think the most important
#2 - Fewer Plants ** goes with #1
#3 - Timely planting of seeds with no procrastination
#4 - Hopefully introduce Co2 into the plan
#5 - Create a "true" vertical collisuem space (i.e. no plants directly under the lights this time).

I think i did pretty good for my first time up, the right way. There is a lot of room for improvement and this time, I will ask for even more help. Mainly questions I was too foolish to not post before.

I will start a new thread. Show my strains. And i intend on planting this week but that really depends on the A/C unit arriving (portable, oh noes! I hope its ok, i will post a message on that too!).

I really appreciate the well wishes and helpful information from everyone who stopped by.

Kirsten, two things:

1)No (wo)man is an island. 24 months is a long time. You need a lifeline for sure (other than us). I suffer from mental illness, so maybe I have a different sense of whether it's all that healthy to isolate yourself.

2)at your new place, try out a horizontal grow on a small scale. I'm not a fan of vert, I'll admit, but having a space where plants can grow normally is the best way to hunt for keepers. I am a scrogger all the way, but my testers are always run as straight up plants, so I can get to know them without all the crap tied to them.
